He's been doing it longer than that. I've been here for nearly 4 years and I saw him within a few weeks of arriving.
I find it disgusting that Westerners come to a third world country to beg... there are people here without enough food, trying to support their children and families and this twat is begging so he can score a few Changs and sleep with whores. I'd love to see this guy chucked in prison for a goodly number of years.

Great little video and interview this. The guy has been doing it for a long time....and I am damned surprised he has been able to get away with it for so long. If he was genuinely in need, then so be it, but that would appear not to be the case.

Inaccurately titled. It should read: Dutch Scammer in Bangkok. He's been doing this for 2 years so obviously his whole contention that he needs airfare to return to Holland is nothing but a lie and therefore a means to fraudulently obtain money from people. As a liar, a con artist, and a scammer and should be arrested and deported.

Obviously the guy is making a living outta this. Only thing I don't get is how he can live with himself. I mean it can't do much for your ego or self respect.

I think it's actually a bit higher than that, but to give people some perspective the average McDonalds worker in Thailand I think earns 25 Baht an hour. Exchange rate is about 35 Baht to the Dollar, 65-70 Baht to the Pound.
