I'm a Respiratory Therapist and a Massage Therapist. I dropped out of Barber School because I couldn't fit it into my work schedule. I think that Barbers have an inportant Profession, because they what they do is improve or maintain a persons self image, self esteem. I like this Video, because it shows you step by step the process of a tappered or bald fade. This Brother is very informed, notice how he tells about how to prevent the infections from the Ciients own Hair. Nice photography, 2
I'm in Barber College now and this is a good vid. Appreciate the demonstration and this is a very similar technique to what my instructors have done. Thanks
thanks for the response, I have a pair of wahl balders however they look different from yours. I can't blend properly with them because they don't have a lever so I bought an andis master because of the lever and that they seem to be better quality. Another reason I bought them is because they are supposed to cut closer "00000"....but yeah interesting.
Balding clippers are not for blending, they're for balding. Wahl has clippers called the Seniors and Magic Clip that have levers. The Andis should serve you well though
I'm in barber school....these cuts on ethnic gentlemen make me nervous as they are very particular about them. I've seen fellows throw fits over mistakes they see in the fade but the barbers can't see anything wrong at all. Just one hair out of place and they are upset. Takes a steady hand.
The next time you do a skin with a person who gets them regularily, look for a line or indentation in the skin where the base line was made repeatedly. Sometimes it looks like a hairline depending on the lighting. You'll only see it on guys who get frequent skin fades.
I have a cosmetology licence, what the heck is a sub zero? Im learning these haircuts that u do or barbers do alsmillion. But we werent taught these cuts back in beauty school.
alsmillions is right on people who get bald fades constantly..just like the more you shave the darker/thicker your hair gets, and that point on the guideline you stop at when balding will leave a darker line with time, sometimes you can't tell til a few weeks after the cut, when the hair is growin back you'll notice a darker line usually on the middle slightly below the middle of the head in the back, also you'll notice on the bald fade veterans you usually gotta bald with t-edgers to get close
Thanks for your patience wit us ALSMILLION

Yo, it's a good cut, but I never have a light fade line. My blend goes from bald gradually to hair. No lines at all

It's always good to have a true barber who's in the trenches drop by and shed some light and give their professional experiences.
Thanks Trick!
