indeed a good dock, for the size i have not heard better. Yea they dont go very loud.

nah its a shitty camera. anyways i also own the pure fi anywhere. bewtween both this and the pure fi the pure fi has a little more punch in the upper bass and slightly smoother highs. unfortuanatly i have found the mm50's to go louder albeit with distortion.

id probaly say around 60-70% volume it should be enough for most medium sized rooms

overall id say they are great ipod speakers espeacially the price u can get them for now they have a nice warm and crisp sound and bass is better than expected from the size but dont expect much in this respect
