Only if I crank it up too loud but at that volume, it is overkill for a home theater setup I beefed up the psu a little when I modded it.

and by the way sony's xplod wont give u 1300w if u buy a sub the max it could give u is 10-500w rms but rms is real loud cuz i have a baja amp 140w mono block and it lift up my 15inch kicker cvr

@LordOrwell2 You could run a 15kw amp on a 480w psu.....you just wouldnt be getting much power out of the amp. But no, there is no sony amp on the market that will do a true 1kwrms without destroying your electrical system first.

I've got 2 12" Sony Subwoofers and they're alright I don't know why some people hate. I can't afford kickers, MTX etc. That's why I've got Sony's and maybe the not the best in the world but for the money they're pretty good.

Car amps have a voltage range from 10-14. I just used a 12 volt switchmode power supply and like a 10000uf cap. gives me around 30 amps to play with.

Dude My brother fucked his subs up with all his stupid bass test songs lol. It was funny as hell watching him try to yank that shit out of his trunk with smoke everywhere lol. And as your your system, Definately get a different car lol. And I would suggest getting one that has 4" speaker slots. If you have subs, there is no need to go any bigger with door speakers. And for the brand, Infinity is BY FAR the best you can get. I think they are $80 a pair at Frys Electronics. They fuckin scream

Yes I agree. I am partial to infinity as well. Very clear. If I can get some holes cut in that plate i think I will be better off then getting a new car lol. but yeah bass tests are fun. it's cool to watch the sub's excursions.

No it wouldn't be easier...Just cheaper lol. You could just turn your car into a show car and put some speakers in the trunk along with your subs. lol Were doing that with my brothers car. I hooked up a row of 5 4" Xplod speakers along the trunk and he has my old Xplod subs too. Its pretty nice. If we ever finish it Ill put a video up. He has what we call the party car lol
