  • You are really an amazing rider... For all you dopes that can't read, it says that she just started riding again after having mono, and plus this is a new horse that she's never ridden! Everybody, like it or not, would have at least a few nerves in that situation! Everybody should be able to see that she obviously excels at what she does!

  • YAY CANADA

  • When the horse tries bucking, yank on the reins to keep his head up and he can't buck. The horses need their heads slightly down to buck. You're a good rider!

  • You are a perfect rider

  • people need to chill! it wasnt "terrible riding" yes she made a few mistakes but we all make mistakes and thats how you learn! she has an instructor already so doesnt really need all your 'great advice'! well done on the riding btw :)

  • I love the song and I like the pony :)

  • You lean forwar too much...

  • hahaha i love i have had a couple of those falls..awesome ride!

  • Ok I don't mean to keep commenting >_< but I saw some more people, you didn't pull back on your horses mouth you just didn't put your hands forward and I didn't realize but your stirrups look to long because you didn't get out of the saddle BUT hey I'm not a perfect rider and I was just sharing my opinion but I'm glad that you weren't completely hauling on your horses mouth then not releasing (I'm usually on the end of my buckle with my pony :) )

  • What would help, is if you lifted your hands and sat back. That would help lots!

  • btw if you want to respond, send me a message don't post it on here.

  • sorry didn't mean to be mean:( i just hate it when people do that kind of thing.

  • ReallY! u turned wayyyy to early and u pulled back on the poor horses mouth. so he or she took the long distance and u sat on its back and he 3 legged it! u should have let go of his mouth more and done lots of more no sturrip work! learn how to do that first! then you should have sat on the horse! i have had many mishaps and this fall is the least of my problems

  • I think the jump was bad because you didnt set yourself up for it well, you leaned forward a lot when asking her to canter, and your heels flew up the second you were jumping. I'm not trying to be mean though I think you are a very good rider especially after being off for a few months. I cant say that I never did that. congrats to you for riding in the winter, I ride every season, rain, shine, snow, -30 +30.i limit myself in certain conditions some people are such sissies about the weather!

  • He actually tried to help you out.. You didn't set him up properly so he had to figure something out. But he got over it, that's a good and honest horse.

  • Wow. I've never seen someone not able to jump a 6 inch cross rail without falling off...

Cute horse. Just stay straight instead of leaning forward all the time ;)

  • @HannuGirl10 she can do what she wants. i do what i want on my horses and i find it really funny when i do these kinds of things.

  • haha aww u tried so hard to stay on. well done :)

  • A bit of criticism nothing to panic about though. When you ride, you're leaning too far forward, you need to keep you back straight to help your balance and it's benifical for the horses balance too. A way that might help may be a body protector? I was given one when i was 8 cause i had a similar problem and now 10 years on it's not a problem :) Just a wee bit 'o' advise ;)

  • For you people being mean...Riding is harder than it looks! Its not easy!

  • @trizan123, I agree, so many people are all like "omg, I'm so sore from soccer" or whatever, then I say yeah well were you on the most leg deaf horse in the barn, then told to go post trot for half an hour, I dont think so! then they give you a weird look and tell you riding isnt a sport! i hate it

  • during the jump you bended a litte too much forward. actually you do i while riding all the time. of course in the jump you need to bend. but with a small jump you dont need to go that far. it only makes it harder for both of you, horse and rider.

  • @HannuGirl10 LOL calm down. I can take criticism. No need to get your back up before you even finish your comment :P It's all good

  • @lanetteee Hey I just saw this was really old but you don't need to have more rein, the horse you were riding was listening very nicely with a loose rein and with riding a new horse you don't want to be all in their mouth because that can upset them, the problem I saw was that you didn't reach your hands high enough and so you hit her in the mouth and then she (like my pony does) told you how she felt about that and you dismounted gracefully lol

  • Oh my god i hate it when people are like " you can't ride in the winter its so cold!!!" YES U CAN! lol its not that hard

  • @equine247 Ahaha yeaah, also I live in Canada, so if I didn't ride when it was "cold" I would only be able to ride like 4 months out of the year haha!

  • @lanetteee I know! plus riding in the cold isn't that bad really. like get a coat and ur fine lol. Yeah i live in canada as well!

  • @equine247 lol, i love canada, with its 11 month long winters and all.

  • @equinest1997 haha but this year its not even snowing at christmas is in less than a week! :( so sad. oh well i dont mind not having to pick out packed in ice from horses hooves! :D

  • @lanetteee You live in Canada? I do too! :)

  • your horse didn't like you on its neck :)

    nice landing though!

  • the snow makes for an awesome shoot!

  • i have the same saddle pad!

  • its a suspensory not tendon.

  • Canada... that explains it :P

    Thank you!

  • hahaha that must be annoying falling off 2 times in your first lesson back :P

what happened on the 2nd fall??

  • we got over the jump successfully but then when we landed she galloped and bucked and i flew over her head and got smashed into ther ground lol -.- (the picture)

  • really that never happened

  • please read before commenting on something. I said in my second fall, where only a picture is shown of me getting owned on the ground lol. The first fall was nothing

  • Wow

    xxx

  • wow, good riding well done :)

haha i really don't think the first fall was your fault at all! :P you can't really help it if the horsey gets the striding wrong!! but ya, good riding :D

    and a loverly horseyyy :)

  • haha thank you :)

  • What A Beautiful Horse!

  • A little trick I taught my mare, might help you. When your lounging and you make them stop kneel on the ground. It really helps especially when a whole bunch off geese take off at once and you land with your helmet on your chin. Wondering if your horse took off. My horse stops every time i fall. Check out my one vid saying "when i fall my horse stops" not me riding but its the guy that taught me how to ride.

  • hey you look really great falling off of that horse :) So you ride and play guitar? You are a woman after my own heart i must say.

  • Heeyy Im from HL!

    I like your video :)

  • lol thats very funny :D wendnesday i felt off too :D

  • haha wow slow motion of the fail

i need to learn to ride horses! i'm going to Yellowstone National Park in the summer for a class and we're going to ride them!

  • thats great :) its sooo much fun I hope you enjoy it

  • lol the first fall she didn't help you much!!!! Second one looked a bit painful :( whats it like riding in the snow? I think you did ok especially after some time off (know how that feels!)

  • hahha thank yoou :) and yeahh the second one was pretty painful lol. Its alright riding in the snow, it actually wasnt that cold that day so the only thing that was bad about it is it's harder to see and you get wet haha

  • i ride horses too
