  • RADIOHEAD YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!

  • he may as well not be hitting that ride/crash.. :P

  • this music is my drug....

  • Radiohead's live performances are always better then audio versions. That's why I love them most!

  • Comment removed

  • Hey misstenshim, your ass has really damn great taste in music... be proud :P

  • 3 dildos that never got high

  • Does anybody know what kind of keyboard Colin uses here?

  • @balluduku 3:37, looks like it says edirol

  • @NoHerbs Indeed, I had missed that... Thanks!

  • way better than the album version

  • This album is by for GREATER then TKOL.

One song of this album is by far greater than the KOL.

TKOL is just horrible compared to this song let alone the album............

  • @Outrjs

    Incorrect.

The King of Limbs is fantastic.

In Rainbows is a somewhat soulless pop album.

If Radiohead continues to explore the concepts presented in The King of Limbs they might make interesting & relevant music again.

  • @Hoslehk1337

a soulless pop album? come on now.

In Rainbows is one of the most soulful albums of all time.

you missed the point of the album.

  • @Outrjs your english is so . . . poor ;)

  • @kyokookanami

Coming from a person who typed "so poor" is not helping my grammar.

Hilarious. I am just having fun. I enjoy that others think differently than me.

  • @Outrjs both albums are two of my favorite albums ever. both are relevant neither are soulless pop albums. TKOL is just a bit more expirimental in nature. esspecially the first half. BOTH of you guys should open your minds a bit. but opinions are opinions, as long as your not rude about it...

  • @ThomasScottCarson

I have been listening to Radiohead since the beginning. I do appreciate the different styles that are never old but exciting and new. I am glad that you like Radiohead also.

  • @Outrjs I appreciate your opinion. do you like TKOL then?

  • @ThomasScottCarson

Yes and No. The constant artistic ventures...Yes.

    The drumming....No.

Live version far surpass the album.

There is jems on every album. Just wish the second drummer was not there.

  • @Outrjs all right

  • @Outrjs couldn't agree more. don't like this radiohead plus one business

  • @mmhmmmTASTY

    mmhmm.... You are tasty!!!

Now say it in a deep voice. mmhmmmmmm!

  • @ThomasScottCarson couldn't agree more. TKOL is not "poor" and IR is anything but soulless. I think is one of their more expressive albums. like their romantical opus (as in romanticism, not as in romance) and TKOL is a vegetal reflexion of life, with dense atmospheres you can easily get lost in Bloom or GIve up the Ghost

  • @etejuanete3 Someone actually had the nerve to call In Rainbows soulless? Eek.

  • @123Cynical yep. eak

  • This Song reminds me that I exist ......

  • THOM'S VOICE...WOW!

  • floating thru the cosmos. truly beautiful. thanks for posting this!!

  • Love and cry...

  • One of my favourite Radiohead songs of all time.

  • @DigitalLoveDaftPunk OMG, me too... this song gets to me every time I listen to it and this version made my cry the first time I heard it....

  • please...no more...i'm crying...please...just stop....

  • this song just breathes sex.

  • A complete Definition of Perfection.

  • pure gold

  • new fav song

  • 1:34 wtf is doing a lemon on the piano?

  • @SlineBoy1 it's an instrument, no fruit.

  • @SlineBoy1 Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon.

  • 3:29

    Ed tries to find chord.

  • this song would make clint eastwood cry

  • this should be on the A side

  • OMG OMG OMG *----*

  • Moments like this can change your life .. Fucking Amazing!

  • THEY REMOVED MARIA'S COMMENT!?

    WHY!?!?!?

  • @thetoasteroven13 In all seriousness though, this song if absolutely amazing. 1:43 to 1:55 just like...tears at my soul hahahah no other words to word it, so beautiful!

  • @thetoasteroven13 i think i once read about maria's comment...was it the one that talk about how this song connected to her and her past????

  • @TheInvictus22 hahaha, yeah and how she was going to kill herself until she met some boy and blah blah...and that her name is maria...ftw

  • whos maria?

  • How is everyone in that room not crying their eyes out?

  • @spiritoffox69 I'm pretty sure Jonny is @ 2:21.

  • Or someone waiting to turn their life around for the better.

  • Almost reminds me of a disaster victim waiting for help to find them.

  • I think this song is hopeful.

  • beautiful, sad, amazing, comfortable, lots of and no hope, lack of words to describe it, the background sound , continuous, steady and pearce ur soul slowly ,, feeling being engulfed by this song when hearing alone at midnight, desperate ...

  • this is my favorite live performance

  • This video has some funny ass comments lol....GREAT SONG!

  • Can't help the tears when listening to this. I hate being a crybaby.

  • download button rofl!

  • I will never get tired to hear this song. I love it.

  • GENIUS!

  • Comment removed

  • old age?

  • "Oh María, Go slowly to me" ... seems to be.. a need for hope... something beautiful like that...

  • two peoples go faster

  • Thom Yorke's voice is a gift.

  • at 3:03-3:51, im pretty sure my soul melted, reformed, crystalized, shattered, and melted again.. i cant really tell right now because my mind is still recovering from utter disbelief that something so beautiful can be made with human hands and a human(?) voice.

  • 2 dislike : stoopid idiots :)

  • Simply beautiful...

  • Ohhh i didnt CAREEE, that bit. Gives me goosebumps. I wish i could sing like thom.

  • This is HEAVEN.

  • one people in 92591 is not of a human race

  • this music takes me to the other side.

  • coolest basement ever

  • i dont even know how its possible to create a song that is at the same time

    a) crushingly sad

    b) unbelievably peaceful

but radiohead have achieved just that......Thom, Ed, Colin, Jonny, Phil.....well in.

  • 1:43 - 1:55 _goosebumps ♥

  • 1 dislike! WTF! IDIOT r u listening with ur ass???

  • @misstenshim

I bet there's already at least 20 comments here about the disliker.

Trolling in Youtube could not get any easier. If you comment about the dislike, you get his/her attention. It's the same with every troll in this world really, they want attention. If you responded the troll, he/she win.

  • @AncientAeon I still don't understand what it exactly is that they win. Trolls are just really sad people, I pity them.

  • @misstenshim 0,011% of the people who watched this video didn't liked it... is that really so bad?

  • @misstenshim chill ;) he must have misclicked :D for sure!

  • @misstenshim he's assing with his listen

  • @misstenshim most likey he's an assface.

  • @misstenshim I tried listening with my ass and it still sounds amazing

  • @misstenshim gotta be an accident lol

  • @misstenshim he thought its download button..

  • they should do all of their songs in the basement. When I watch all of them I just want more.

  • one work: PASSION!

  • I think people are wrong when they say that this band are The Beatles of our generation. They are RADIOHEAD of our generation. They are not like anything there has ever been. They are unique and absolutely timeless.

  • He's using a mallet. It's commonly used in marching bands.

  • last nite she told me how my "ego" had me lost her...she been waiting for me to long....as the song end, theres a way out...go slowly to me my love...go slowly...

  • Hm, never noticed this before - it seems like Colin has a King of Limbs shirt... strange since this is from '09, unless I am mistaken...

  • @Pwnzor729 I noticed that too a few days ago! SUPER WEIRD!

  • if i can sing n play guitar,i would love to sing dis song to her.to tell her how much i love her n i will always wait for her to come to me...

  • wait, how come phil is playing the drums at the begining?????

  • @andyrawsyou Why wouldnt he be playing the drums? Hes the drummer

  • @thatguy203 no!, jaja, I mean I know who he is, but just at the begining you can see he's playing the dishes a lot but I can't hear them! actually I can't hear anything he's playing at all!, ok I do but just a soft "pum" (is it just me?) maybe I'm just going deaf

  • @andyrawsyou If you look closely at what hes using to hit the drums its not a normal drum stick. It doesnt get much of a sound on the cymbals when he plays quietly but later in the song it helps get a different sound off of the ride cymbal. Listen closely at about 40 seconds in. You can hear the sound he gets off of the cymbal pretty well.

  • @andyrawsyou Its the mallet hes using. At the end you can really hear the different sound he gets on the cymbal when he uses it. It also gives the snare drum a more pum sound like you said

  • I saw this video a little while ago and it expresses my current emotions so perfectly, so poignantly that I bawled like a baby. So few words, so expressive.... utterly amazing.

  • I downloaded the session but this song isn't included??? Is this an outtake or what? Did they play any extra songs? I want the FULL session u.u

  • God I love this song!!

  • Colin's t shirt is that of the TKOL, or look alike, the lemon of Jonny is having some rest on the piano, just before being shaked in " Rockener "

Where are all these wonderful emotions, great music and unforgettable songs on the king of limbs??? its their worst record " though its still a bit good" but i'm afraid it "TKOL" will be the start of the descent, go slowly in this descent RH

  • @sarbool that's your opinion of course. I respect it but I don't agree. The King Of Limbs is a brilliant album in my opinion.

  • @AmelieDemy . may be there are 1 or 2 birilliant songs in this "LP" its not even un "LP" cos its only 38 minutes, after 4 yrs of waiting, they come with a 38 minutes record. but seriously they were not serious. this record has no direction (as was for all their old albums) no message, and no soul. Even if we love RH, it hink we shd tell them when they make a less attractive work. bonne journée

  • @sarbool TKOL isn't Radiohead's descent. actually it shows that they have reached an intellectual point where they don't care about fame, they're not teenagers anymore, they're not "hungry for the rock". they are musicians who compose unique music, with a deep meaning. I think they've always thought like that, but TKOL is the clear demostration of it. maybe they'll throw some more guitars in future albums, but personaly it's okay for me if they don't

  • @etejuanete3, i didn't talk about fame nor rock. i agree with deep music which i didn't find on TKOL (with few exceptions) Were they teenagers when they recorded their masterpiece In Rainbows? where u find intellectual music, guitars , emotions, and deep meaningful lyrics. Even Inrainbows disc 2 would be a better LP than TKOL.I think it's T York's record not RH's where u don't find the influence of other members in this album.38 minutes & a song without lyrics (feral) . BTW, im a big fan of RH

  • @sarbool In Rainbows is my personal favorite album, but TKOL isn't far off. And this isn't a Thom's Solo album. you can clearly hear Colin's bass and Phil's drums in almost every track. Little by Little has three guitar lines (Thom, Ed, Jonny). people say is a yorke album cuz they can't hear Jonny's guitar. and lots of loops. I don't see what's wrong with loops. they use them in almost every album

And TKOL is full of the intense Lyrics and emotions we saw in the previous albums

  • @etejuanete3 If you listen to this band across their career, and not just splitting the songs into Albums, there is so much beauty and challenge and difference there, across their time as a group. A group of individuals who just get that musical thing together.... And I know you know it. Preaching to the converted. lol

  • @kirkwallboy haha I totally get your point. I don't think there's a Radiohead song I don't know (my favorite band by far) TKOL is their second big musical twist (Kid A was the first). Sometime they please more people, sometimes they don't, but that's ok, that's what makes them so special. they don't make music for everyone. Not everyone can understand them anyways, and it's better for them that way. TKOL is a good example of that

  • Wow thanks guys for liking this band, it shows theres people alive today that still have musical taste intact

  • man!! I have LIVED!!

  • Thom's voice is a musical instrument.

  • at the end of the song i get of the cloud and back to reality

  • they're so into it.....my god...some people are doing history here..

radiohead its a band to be put in places together with pink floyd, beatles and led zeppelin

  • That's called... making love

  • Best song ever?

  • My late wife's name is ... Maria

    Very emotional and profound indeed.

  • This makes me want to cry it's so lovely.

  • Great shirt Colin.

  • Awesome how radiohead's b-sides are better than anyone else's a-sides. :)

  • @jeffpik2612 it's not a b-side, but I agree.

  • @megamattlolz It is a b-side of In Rainbows.

  • @NearCompleteImersion I suppose if you look at it that way...But to me, In Rainbows is both discs...without each other the album feels incomplete.

  • @jeffpik2612 Except "In Rainbows Disc 2" isn't really a b-side, the album was just split up in two.. :P

  • @Radioheadeist not really. they had several songs that didn't fit in the album's musical context. so they put them in another album because doing various EPs would be pointless. so, for making it an extra album they added MK1 (kind of Videotape) and MK2 (a LP must have at least 8 songs

  • @jeffpik2612 lmao

  • the best full stop

  • I believe Liam is the one who dislikes this!

  • Comment removed

  • does anyone know the acoustic that Thom is playing???

  • @TheBSLevin It's a martin I beleive.

  • there's a way out

  • simply the best thing they have done. astounding.

go the furthest from your centre of conciousness as you can go. then go further.

now you can really hear this

  • maybe there's a little "there there" in this song , but that means for me that they take influence from their own sound , in some part. This is not copying. that's f*cking amazing. i LOVE radiohead. so bright song. wonderful....

  • It's a beautiful song regardless, but am I the only one that hears a little bit of There There?

  • @mwcafac91 Lol no ur not, it's the same few notes in the little riff there.

  • Oh my god, I love it.

  • i just melted like butter

  • Sorry to say I've just recently become a lover of RH, but at least now I'm here! Always loved Creep & Optimistic and now I LOVE ALL THEIR SONGS! I've listened to/watched this song so many times already this morning. Downloaded this album from iTunes yesterday & so looking foward to home date night with my hubby and watching the whole thing tonight! He too is now loving their briliant work. Music never dies.

  • i felt my blood getting purified...

  • Radiohead is possibly the best band i have ever heard

and i listen to beatles, simon & garfunkel and other mindblowing stuff

    thom yorke is a genious

his lyrics are far the best ones and all the melodies the groups keeps on inventing

i mean reckoner, 15 step, this one...it's just freaking brilliant

  • I do sometimes wonder why it's mainly Jonny who gets the credit for his guitar work (not that it isn't excellent) when Ed is clearly doing something beautiful here. What a beautiful piece of music that all 5 members should be proud of.

  • @asloem Maybe because he has more of a recognisable sound, a personal signature to his playing. Though at one point here, i thought it was Johnny playing :) . And Johnny's playing seems often more overtly 'dramatic' or 'passionate', also visually, the way his body talks, i guess that influences people's opinion too.

  • @asloem I also am a HUGE Ed fan in all Radiohead songs but you should know just as one fan to another that he is actually one of the founding members of Radiohead along with Thom and is obviously respected by the band and is notably on the same level as Jonny. Rolling Stone put him one place behind Jonny on the Greatest Guitarists of all time list. He also does a lot of song writing and producing for the band, so even if people see Jonny up front more Ed is just as big of a part of the music

  • @TheBSLevin I agree totally. And having seen them live a number of times, I find Ed a lot more watchable than Jonny and sometimes Thom. He has a very masculine stage presence, is a superb mover and captures the audience with his facial expressions and posture let alone what he plays/sings. And I don't think he even tries either!

  • who the fuck "dislikes" this??

  • @TotallyLongo one of Justin Bieber's fans

  • @TotallyLongo Probably all alone watching Hanna Montana.

  • such an underrated song I must say

  • Ive been a fan for a long time, and it's nice to see Thom and the gang evolve... I like how their music has gone from rock/indie based to something more like a synthesis of electronic and prog...i guess:)

more than the labels, radiohead always reach that part of me that seems to be on the edge of perception.

  • just divine........ :-o

  • Though this song veers a little to close to Coldplay territory I do love Ed's guitar work here. I just get the feeling the band normally keeps him locked up in a cage somewhere until Thom Yorke says 'Bring out the gimp', to which Jonny says 'but the gimp's asleep...', then Thom says 'Well I guess you'll just have to walk him up now won't you?'

If none of you have watched Pulp Fiction more than twice this is wasted. But yeah Ed rules. Should have him moar.

  • @findingphunc lol

  • This kind of music just makes you move inside your own mind... That's all. No play on feelings, just sensations

  • the song is beautiful, like most of their other work. I don't understand how it's depressing, I mean it's like a high without the drugs.. I could listen to Radiohead with my eyes shut for hours on any given day.. and have wonder non-depressing thoughts.

  • Makes me cry... :(((((((

  • oh maria

    come slowly

    come slowly to me

    ive been waiting

    patient

    patiently

    i didn't know it

    but now i can see

    that there's a way out x4

  • God god god, doesn't anybody have an mp3 version of this please?

I think my life depends on it

  • @bodysnatchers25 watch radiohead-notforprofit website. They released some of the basement but people are always uploading music. The Santa Barbara live version is pretty close to this one :)

  • I love this music so much... I am not sure how to express in words just how wonderful I think these guys are

  • Magic magic magic magic
