  • Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamuuuu!!!

  • RVD...Mr Saturday Morning!

  • who knew they would end up being two of the best ever. also sabu was barefoot whats all that about

  • This is why wrestling is doomed with no regional terrorties for the youngsters to hone their skills...not to mention that WWE have too much power as the only alternative is TNA and maybe ROH.....Gone are the days of wrestlers telling Vince that unless they sort out their" characters" push they are off to the competition and vice or versa!.....I give the WWE about 3 years especially as Vince is gonna piss most of their money on a ill conceived and poorly thought out "Network"...

  • a few years later, these two had a classic stretcher match in ECW

  • Pointing at the light grid, lol.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • Was this shown on ECW TV?

  • this is rvd?wow

  • Just a thought - if a guy goes for a single leg takedown wouldn't it make sense to just kick him in the fucking head? lol

  • Wow, I didn't know RVD was wrestling when he was 12. :)

  • holy shit sabu wrestled barefoot?!?!

  • I bet they never thought at this time they would be having some of the best matches of ECWs history. Two of my all time favs

  • he was called samu because there had been a guy in memphis a few years before named sabu.

  • @yankeesfan1111111111 Really? That's interesting if true.

  • @DKvsLow yeah he was later known as cocoa samoa.

  • @yankeesfan1111111111

But there was a guy called Samu that had been on national TV for years on WWF and WCW.

  • Dave Brown...he's the best color business man for a reason...and the richest mutha in Memphis, TN.

  • samu...sabu...I remember seeing him as "Superfly" Terry Snuka. He was actually great a s Snuka knockoff though

  • @ZenPimps i remember hearing he was billed as the grandson or whatever of jimmy. lame. im so glad sabu and rvd found their true selves down the line. put ya damn shoes on, sabu. lmao.

  • damn he look so young in this how was he ???

  • @AndrewsOpinion15 Sabu is currently 46, Rob is currently 40. This was 1991, both Sabu and Robs' birthdays are in December, so at this time Sabu would have been 25, and Rob would have been 19.

  • damn talk about pre ECW wrestling!

  • Referee Paul Neighbors became a crooked ref and would be fired 2 years after this match.

  • he has been pointing at the lights ever since..... lol

  • sabu aint wereing no shoes

  • RVD with a mullet damn.

  • this samu keeps pointing at the light grid LOL moment. This is great Pflaw317 great posting great posting

  • This is the first time I've ever seen Rob with his hair down...

  • Ok. Now I understand why he still sports the ponytail after all these years

  • this is like "Holy Shit" vintage wrestling

  • Hell naw ... RVD would probably like to burn this shit.

  • if the date and names werent added in by the person who posted it it is probably one of those tapes that changes the names of the wrestlers in order to pay them royalty fees

  • Pre-Scars Sabu!!

  • its not ''Rob Zakowski'' its Rob Szatkowski

  • @SonicHeroes565 its not his real name he's using... he didn't title Sabu "Terry Brunk" in the video.

Watch the video it says Zakowski

  • he is ROB...ZA..KOWSKI!

  • @TheEaglesfan01 RZK doesn't work as well as RVD :)

  • This is a great wrestling match, even if it is a bit short.

  • this is classic wrestling footage right here..RVD is one of the greatest wrestlers ever..and Sabu is also a legend.

  • If anyone has the Eliminators' USWA run, I'm begging you to upload it. I don't really want to see them jobbing to PG13, but whatever.

  • I lived in Memphis but I was only 6 years old at the time so I don't remember seeing this.

Nobody knew what talent they had at the time!

  • funny how they miss say SABU name!! thanks for this great post.

  • They probably changed it to "Samu" to differentiate it from the Sabu that wrestled in Memphis long before Sabu (Brunk) ever wrestled.

  • AWSOME POST

  • there's another one of these somewhere

  • wow can't believe how much this match sucks i'm glad they got better

  • RVD ROCKS

  • Wow never knew this existed

  • Damn where do you find that? Thx for upload!

  • It weird seeing Memphis TV Wrestling without Jerry Calhoun refereeing the matches.

And RVD looks nothing like he would later.

  • Awesome Post, Thanks for Sharing This!

  • HOLY SHIT RVD is young is hell & lol Samu hahaha

  • lol..wasn't Samu one of the Wild Samoans?

  • yea I there was one, lol that would be funny if it was Sabu XD

  • @PFlaw317 yeah and also one of the Head Shrinkers. I guess they changed Sabu's name to Samu cause Memphis already had a wrestler named Sabu a few years before this. Plus they might of had limited access to WWF tv so few people would confuse the Samoan Samu, to the Indian Sabu .

  • @PFlaw317 LOL

  • @PFlaw317 Different Samu

  • Sa-fucking-mu!

    Sa-fucking-mu!

    Sa-fucking-mu!

  • wow Robs wrestling style is so different. They are both really green here. Sabus look has never changed.

  • Yep, I always get a kick out of seeing wrestling stars when they're young.

  • @hctim01 sabus look has changed hes bald now

  • @hctim01

Sabu was a 6 year vet at this point (1991)
