  • Here's a question for you, if their really is a god why doesn't he put a stop to all the uneeded fighting in the world? Why doesn't he help those in 3rd world contries who desperatly need help? Answer that without saying anything regarding to the fact that they follow another religion

  • @jgamefreak20 I think the proper theistic response would be, "He will" or some such nonsense like that, or something about us not fully understanding his nature due to our ephemeral nature.

  • I love all this, and i want to see sources! Not being an ass, i just want to read more about these facts you keep stating! its fascinating

  • @KLJNHBUINOILNO Sorry I made this video about two and a half years ago and no longer have my bookmarks. Which claims do you want cited?

  • atheist live in a box

  • @msalah2341 "atheist live in a box"

    Care to explain?

  • @msalah2341 Dude, seriously, I'm asking you a question, and the only thing you can come back with is a non answer. Point out how I'm living in a box or admit to having no substance to your claim or admit to being libelous.

  • @msalah2341 I would appreciate it if you left your responses here so I can be informed of when you post them.

"look aroud you and what do you see "

This isn't what I asked you. I asked you to point out how it is that I live in a box. Instead of trying to be snarkey and leaving short quips, how about you try typing a well thought out paragraph so it doesn't take us a year to have a conversation?

  • @ jesuriah and @ BastEternal;l will leave with a verse from the satirical Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster: "Thou shalt be amused rather than angered by the words and deeds of idiots; for I am thy Noodly Lord and I have created idiots solely for entertainment purposes, Mine first and thine likewise"

  • @lunchEATSyou Need to squash the spaghetti monster too. You do know quite a number of people take that thing seriously? THAT'S what religion does, folks are so desperate to latch on to superstition even the spaghetti monster is on its way to become even steven with god, if it hasn't already.

  • @BastEternal you seem to have missed the point. This "church" is composed of athiests and agnostics, etc. The only people who take the FSM seriously are fundies. If everybody can realize that a FSM is uber ridiculous, then people can then realize that the invisible beared sky-zombie is also fake. ( go to venganza.org and read the "About" tab)

  • @lunchEATSyou 4 days ago I followed up the post you just responded to with a post very similar to yours. Agreed.

  • @lunchEATSyou Actually no, let that noodly lord thing continue its course - maybe, JUST MAYBE, it will catch on and shoot to the ranks of "GOD", when finally believers will realize how EASY it is for people to latch on to any silly superstition that suits one's fancy.

  • The debate over the proof/non-proof of the supernatural is quite foolish for believers and non-believers to participate in. There isnt any concrete evidence for OR against the existence of the supernatural. In summary, nobody likes the pushy theist any more than the pushy atheist. So be nice everybody.

  • @lunchEATSyou "here isnt any concrete evidence for OR against the existence of the supernatural." There is tons of evidence against supernatural claims, look at creationism and its' numerous rebuttals for examples. As far as being polite to everyone, I may be liberal, but not that liberal.

  • @jesuriah To clean up my post: I am agnostic myself, and i think creationism and ID are rubbish. However, the message to both sides of the aisle are to be respectful of everybody's beliefs and non-beliefs. religious intolerance has resulted in wars, genocide, and oppression since the dawn of humanity. Most of the arguements on this topic on youtube usually devolve into pissing contests.

  • @lunchEATSyou "However, the message to both sides of the aisle are to be respectful of everybody's beliefs and non-beliefs."

Should I respect the idea that I deserve to have something bad happen to me after I die? Should I respect the belief in a war god who commands filicide and the mutilation of genitals? I find these ideas not just disgusting, but dangerous, and will not respect them.

"...usually devolve into pissing contests. "

    Typically because theists suspend logic.

  • @jesuriah Religious fundamentalists of all flavors need and should be fought at all levels, whether they are trying introduce religion to science classes or legislating with their holy books, One of the better ways to fight them is to enlist the help of moderates from their own religion to speak out against and not vote for those holy-book thumpers. Attacking the religion directly only alienates those moderates and liberals from us and allows those fundies to say "I told you so." needmorespace...

  • @lunchEATSyou I will not respect a belief that pities me, that accuses me of having no morals, no purpose, and thinks I deserve to go to hell or be annihilated because I don't believe in a god. It's condescending and dehumanizing.

The debate is HUGE and a lot more important than you think. In the US 80% of population is some form of christian, those in office, most are christian, and they are the ones who make the laws. Even the "evangelical vote" can make or break an election. Be nice? Wake up

  • @BastEternal Please read the reply to jesuriah who is saying the same thing you are, BastEternal. To finish my thought, we must make moderate/liberal theists our allies against these holy crusaders. For example ,not all christians have a literal belief in the bible, and many I know share the same views when it comes to gay rights, abortion, etc. It is pointless to debate fundies, but important to debate with moderates. Attacking the religion itself will make these possible allies disappear.

  • @lunchEATSyou It is the religion that's causing the problem. Even moderates are an issue - these are the ones that are in political office making the laws that affect me.

Best to squash the superstition that is god, the problem at the source - I will not make allowances for the belief of an imaginary being. The little things make a big difference - 1st step is for atheists to come out of the woodwork - 2nd is to have a voice. We are right in the middle, making progress.

  • @lunchEATSyou It's hard to be polite to the people who's religion is in part responsible for the genocide and enslavement of my ancestors(I'm Native American as well as ethnically Jewish).

  • @jesuriah I agree. Now knowing your ethnicity, i better understand why you feel the way you do.

  • godlessgeeks (.) c o m / WhyAtheism (.) h t m

  • Why is this guy takling about Darwin and Evolution when hes trying to debate against Atheists?

this is what Atheists beleive. We do not Beleive in one deity or god that is our argument not anyhting this guy has said.

  • @wikidpat This is a response to a video. Read the title.

  • people god doesnt exist! christianity is a religion made by hopeless people who look up to someone called god to help them. being a christian doesnt mean that you have to use god to help you people can help themselfs and dont need a imaginary being to help them.

  • Another problem is how could partially-evolved plant and animal species survive over millions of years when their basic organs and tissues were still in the process of evolving? How, for example, were animals breathing, eating, and reproducing if there respiratory, digestive, and reproductive organs were still evolving?

  • @hoof814 It's clear to me that you don't understand how evolution works. I'd suggest doing some research into the theory before you try to argue against it.

  • @jesuriah i found far too much wrong with the first few minuites of this video, so i will not hear you out..

    BYE!

  • @HIGHLANDERxMCLAMBIE Can you point something out?

  • Where Are All the Half-Evolved Dinosaurs?

    BY: BABU G. RANGANATHAM

  • If you were invited to a feast with all kinds of good meats, would you believe that there has been no one to cook them? But nature is a banquet prepared for us! You have tomatoes & peaches & apples & milk & honey. Who has prepared all these things for mankind? Nature is blind. If you believe in no God, how can you explain that blind nature suceeded in preparing just the things that we need in such plenitude and variety? If you desire more, email me at 1thevoiceoftruth@gmail.com. God is real

  • @1TheVoiceofTruth Err, I'd prefer not to give random people my e-mail address. You do realize that all of the plants you listed have been modified by man, right?

  • @1TheVoiceofTruth There are lots of poisonsous plants, and snakes and such in our world. Do you believe that God made those?

  • Disproving evolutionism does not prove creationism.

  • not really, your definition of the argument as it is is relevant to disproving religious myths is the part of your "theory" that you're using to talk about atheism, not all that "empirical" bullshit you're throwing around as if a whole bunch of facts equals the nature of ultimate reality. you can't just sit back and go "oh but this bit is relevant so the theory itself is useful to science" when you use the other speculative end of your theory to actually try to formulate an argument against myth

  • you don't need a source to prove that evolution hasn't done anything for science. the theory of evolution can usefuly show relationships between animals that are similar and trace a hypothetical path through time and whimsicially say that "We can understand how it got from A to B" based on chance. Problem is, probability is only actually useful for predicting how things will happen for engineering and science, "it followed natural selection based on probaility" contributes" ABSOLUTELY. NOTHING.

  • @rjenman This is not true. DonExodus2 has a video wherein he explains how the theory is used to diagnose several illnesses. Theres also Tiktaalik and the evolutionary algorithyms used to develop wings.

  • @jesuriah

if you're using systems of probability about millions of years of the universe to diagnose illnesses you're a shaman

  • @rjenman Using a Wii to post replies sucks...Your definition of the theory is flawed. Pleas watch DonExodus2`s video. It explains how the theory is used to diagnose illnesses.

  • @rjenman just like the theory of gravity fails, it's really intelligent falling, right?

  • Another problem is how could partially-evolved plant and animal species survive over millions of years when their basic organs and tissues were still in the process of evolving? How, for example, were animals breathing, eating, and reproducing if there respiratory, digestive, and reproductive organs were still evolving?

  • hey uh well look at the video the impossible rko it is not mine it is just a stupid vid

  • This is a well done video. I believe in God and some of the quotes from the original video were not well done (though I never watched the original). Charles Darwin did not create evolution, he researched adaptation, which is proven. Evolution is nothing more than a theory, however, yet has been accepted by many as a truth. It has never been directly proven. Just remember that

  • OK!!!

  • Glad you got to the lack of transitional fossils thing. Yeah if you're a creationist you probably don't read a lot of biological science literature, which means you don't read about the COUNTLESS transitional fossils (counting all species, not just humans). All that and evolution is demonstrable under laboratory conditions on the microscopic, bacterial level. Note: none of this has ANYTHING to do with the existence of God/god(s). I can smell straw men burning...

  • O you mean those transitional fossils that have always been found to be more of an ape fossil? But wait, didn't they make sketches on what the animal might look like based on the fossil? Yup, so now we're following the imagination of an artist. I bet these evolutionists believe in global warming too, haha.

  • Assuming that were the case (it isn't), it's better than the imagination of a superstitious bronze-age charlatan... I know you won't but you should just type transitional fossils into Google... furthermore evolution has been demonstrated under laboratory conditions with controls and and the like on the microscopic level and extensively demonstrated through fossil records on the macroscopic level. Since when is global warming a religious issue anyway? Neither has anything to do with religion.

  • Its sad that atheist and christians alike think that evolution has anything to say about the existence of god. This theory presents the how and not the why. Even if it were proven 100% it still only presents an opportunity for atheist not to believe in god and for theist an issue on theology. It doesnt even disprove the Genesis account. (which explains the why)

  • Ha! Great video. That last video was so painful to watch

  • I don't understand how someone could argue against evolution. You can see it everywhere. You can see it in viruses. If evolution WASN'T true, then there would only be one flu shot that would be an end-all for the virus. No, there's many different versions of flu and many many different shots for it. WHY? Because the damn viruses evolve constantly to get past our defenses!

  • actually they are mutating, which is natural selection, which is minor evolution.

  • When I clicked on the video you're responding to, I was actually hoping to see some thought-provoking piece of evidence or something of the sort that would make me change my opinions. When she made two fallacies in her first sentence, I clicked out of it out of disappointment.

It's like these morons just read what comforts them and then repeat it to try and sound logical. I would very much like to debate that girl some day, or at least see her get educated in what she knows nothing about.

  • so lets cut off our arms and legs and hope that our children will have no arms and legs so that evolution can be proven. oh wait, this is natural selection never mind

  • Sarcasm?

  • very much. i dont agree with both creationist and evolutionist because both have interesting sides. I rather stay lukewarm on this subject

  • I'd suggest listening to the scientists.

    Cheers.

  • why, they are funded by the government who is trying to control our lives and computer usage.

  • You're an idiot.

  • @Electronic897 why thank you

  • Wow,

i did get through 1 min. you are a very patience.

she is a moron of the highest order.

  • @benelijah12 Actually, from what I've heard, cutting off your arms and legs doesn't actually effect your genetics, because each strand of DNA contains all your genetic information including your arms and legs. For example, amputees, if they have children after the amputation will still produce children with all their limbs (barring weird unrelated genetic mutations)

  • @redrevellinfusion well if evolution is correct then people need to cut off their arms and legs for a period of centurys before any drastic change can happen. but if creationism is correct then we just acted like fools. but still who knows whos correct. science give us the logical way of understanding. but faith builds trust in relationships. you need both logic and faith to understand our origin. we should decide our own fate and not let other decide for us

  • @benelijah12 That's not actually how evolution works. Genetic variance has to create the change. Cutting off arms/legs after birth has no effect on the genetics that produce arms or legs. Your example only works if you propose only allowing those who are born without arms or legs (or diminished forms of those limbs) to be allowed to breed.

Your point of deciding your own fate is well and good, but you would do well to listen to experts in a field rather than those ignorant about it.

  • @darkchiron @darkchiron some would say that if we do not have need for a certain function for a certain part of the body it would eventually shrink to nonexistance. like on the gallapgos island where darwin observed certain birds beak were longer and larger than other. so if darwin is right eventually after cutting off our arms for thousands of years we will no longer need our arms. or if we become lazier, eventually we will lose our arms to survival of the fittest

  • @benelijah12 Or die off since our civilization is built around us using our arms...

  • @benelijah12 You are wrong in your interpretation of evolution. In your example, the birds don't get shorter/longer beaks because someone cut the beak off a few birds. It's because as generations progressed, genetic mutations occurred to produce birds with longer/shorter beaks. Those genetic mutations must be passed on to produce the same effect in offspring. You can't just cut off a person's body part and expect future generations to copy that, because it's NOT AN EFFECT OF GENETICS.

  • @darkchiron so then how is possible for a certain mousetype two look the same except for the color. one mouse is tan the other is dark brown to adapt to the feature of the land they are living in. one type of desert mouse. both live right next to each other. if the rat never adapted then no mutation occured. so if human doesnt use their arms it would probably shrink in time. and beside cutting off our arms i was being sarcastic

  • @benelijah12 In your case, mice in the desert gradually were born more and more to match the environment over time as those who genetically had sand-colored hair were less likely to be eaten, and more likely to live long enough to breed.

I don't know why you'd even say what you did if you didn't mean it, and still 'not using your arms' doesn't matter unless those who breed are genetically made to have no arms. That's the point. You have to be BORN that way, not act that way later.

  • @darkchiron some question, can a person be born gay and a person born a "christian"(a do good-doer)not the religious hypocrite? or a person must choose their fate from their parents perspective at first then their peers then older people? Because their are scientist say that there is a gay genetics and a christian genetics(both good and religious)

  • @benelijah12 I'm not a geneticist so I couldn't tell you for sure. I know there are theories that such properties could be hereditary. In the case of religion, a person is far more likely to be religious the more ignorant/stupid they are, so you may argue it's genetic from that stand-point. But not all religious people are ignorant/stupid, so I wouldn't say it's the only way to be religious. Just my thoughts, as I said genetics isn't my area.

  • @benelijah12 it's obvious you have no idea about how natural selection works. it's extremely simply but I have neither the time now the will to try to explain it to you right now.

  • @mightyafrowhitey its obvious you can't take a joke.and besides evolution is a hoax made up by the nerds to keep a job and to out do the people who made fun of them. why they did it because they want to control the people who made fun of them. Just like religion it's the same mind control technique to make money. it's all a game of control just like politics. which is to say we all will be part of a communist way of living. fear and knowledge = power = tyranny

  • @benelijah12 I can't take a joke? I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that whole paragraph was also a joke...

  • im honsetly not judgin you here. i just had a legitimate question. at about 3:23 you said science is you either understand it or you dont and its not by faith. can you explain that a little more? how is science not by faith, if there was really no scientist to watch all these events happen that they claim happened, how is it proven?

  • "if there was really no scientist to watch all these events happen that they claim happened, how is it proven? "

Well then it wouldn't be science, science only deals with things that are observed or can be inferred via observation(the orbit of Pluto for example).

Evolution is not only a theory in the scientific sense, it is also an observed fact. I'd suggest looking at talkorigins for more info.

  • In science, one can analyse the composition of the remains from the past to make a theory of how things happens, faith, however, is based off nothing but belief without proof.

  • My favorite part of her video was when she said magic created the universe. Her, a Christian, who believes in walking on water, turning water into wine, and unproven invisible spiritual entities says that a theory (claiming to know an incredible amount of information based on fact that only claims to only know as much as what has been proven) is magic. I literally laughed out loud.

Awesome vid tho I agree with you completely but you have to admit their video was pretty easy to criticize...

  • You only saw 3 minutes? You need to see the whole thing to get the entire punchline

  • Ohhh, and atheism... You're right, evolutionists aren't atheists.

Theist: On who believes in a god or goddess.

    Atheist (... A being opposite)

There are evolutionist theists, non-evolutionist atheists (the one who challenge the theory properly) Guh... When will these darn jesus freaks learn ;P

  • Guh.. Why do the christians always remove comments -_-

No bones found, though IDA is pretty big... On top of just finding fossils we also have transitional DNA (example, #2) and naturally evolving disease etc. She says are we willing to change, which of course is the basis of science. Random chance and time... 100 billion years... I'll do the math on the probability of the dictionary thing... irreducible complexity - new function from old ways... evolution. Is there ANY proof for god? No.

  • atheist will only believe what their eyes see.if then why are you responding to me yet you don't see me?how do you know that i exist?if then, you also don't believe that i exist because you don't see me.

  • When did anyone ever say that?

To answer your strawman argument, I can see the effects of you, and thus see that you have some kind of existence, the same cannot be said of your god.

  • @oreiah2k7 Well we can take your posting as evidence that you exist. There is an uncertainty around weather you exist or not but the fact you posted here is very compelling evidence. I don't care what I see with my eyes, they can trick me. I do care about empirical evidence.

  • Dude

It's just good to know that there's somebody out there who recognised this video as being such a ridiculous collection of unqualified and incorrect garbage.

You're a bigger man than me for even knowing where to start with responding to this. wow. I got about 4 minutes in before wanting to put a biro through my temple. I think anything other than a preliminary reply to this shit could realistically form a feature film.

Man, I gotta stop using YouTube it just makes me depressed!

  • I contemplated cutting off all of my skin and jumping into a pool of salt after watching the video the rest of the way through. That would have hurt less than the stupid and the dishonesty.

  • For someone who is an "ex-atheist", she didn't seem to give any indication at all that she even knew what an atheist IS. Even if any of the lies she spouted about Darwin and "irreducible complexity" were true, it still wouldn't prove that a deity exists, or that we need to acknowledge its existence.

  • but because I just know He is continuously working and helping face each day with all my problems and stress I encounter everyday. The miracle of answered prayers, peace in the midst of troubles.actually that what all us really needs peace you can have all the fame, intelligence, theories wealth but no peace, there'll be no joy.we tend to find answers in different angles whereas answers can only be found from the one who created mankind.

  • "with all my problems and stress I encounter everyday."

Maybe you're able to deal with it and just giving away your achievements?

"The miracle of answered prayers, peace in the midst of troubles."

There is such a thing as coincidence. How many people have prayed for something and never received it? Peace? To claim peace as a miracle in these times is asinine.

  • how come you can say that i don't have a relationship with Christ?knowing Christ is more than shaking his hands and telling where He lives it's more of experiencing Him in one's life, a ruined life having directions because simply you now know Christ in your life,in my life.I guess I need further proof but I have witnessed in my own eyes how He has done wonderful things in my life that no human reason could comprehend,it doesn't mean that He appeared before me to shake my hands

  • "but I have witnessed in my own eyes how He has done wonderful things in my life that no human reason could comprehend"

Can you prove it? I'm not calling you a liar, I just don't believe you. To have a relationship with someone, you have to have an interaction with them. To interact with someone, they have to exist in this universe. Jesus isn't really walking around right now, is he?

  • Now think about this, in your times of fears, when troubles come your way, and if your life is in danger will atheism save you?

  • Of course not. That's like asking if libertarianism will save you.

  • Atheism is the wedge under the foundation of our faith, trying to topple our relationship with Christ. When the fool said in his heart, there is no God, he rejects the truth God painted on the canvas of the night. Atheism has never created an artistic masterpiece, never healed a fatal disease or calmed a fear. Atheism has never still given answers to our existence, peace to a troubled mind or even dried a tear.

  • "When the fool said in his heart, there is no God,"

    Matthew 5:22 buddy.

"Atheism is the wedge under the foundation of our faith, trying to topple our relationship with Christ."

Actually, atheism is the most intellectually honest position to hold on the subject of theology. You don't have a relationship with Christ either. If you did you could show me where he lives and shake his hand.

"he rejects the truth God painted on the canvas of the night. "

    ...cont...

  • ...Actually I'm an atheist because of the lack of truth presented in the bible. For example, the gross contradictions.

Why would atheism solve any problems? That's like complaining about chemistry's lack of a solution for the question of gravity. There is no belief structure in atheism, it's only a specific answer to a specific question. To even bring this up as an issue shows you know very little on the subject.

  • That quote she recited at 1:32 was never written or spoken by Darwin. It is a quote invented by Lady Hope, the bitch that started the myth that Darwin recanted on his deathbed - a claim denied by Darwin's own children, who, unlike Hope, were ACTUALLY THERE when Darwin was ill.

That myth was back in the early 1900s, but to this day, creationists still think it happened.

I would like to tell them this fact, but like the "Truth Seekers" they are, they've decided to block comments on their video.

  • Meant to say "That myth was debunked back in the early 1900s."

  • It gets better: By saying that this quote is in "his book", she implies that she has actually SEEN that line in the book herself, but Darwin never wrote that quote in any of his works. In other words, she is lying and KNOWS she is lying.

I don't understand why these christians want us to follow their rules when THEY can't even make an attempt to do so themselves.

  • Which one, the "full of uninformed ideas" one?

  • Yes. If she had actually read the book as she claims she did, she would see that Darwin never wrote anything even resembling that.

Just check out the Elizabeth Hope page on Wikipedia. It has the quote there.

  • those so call evelotionary algos ARE realy predetermine from control theory point of veiw and they are fololow a very nice mathmatical .... and ...... more over they are CREATED by some one .... so re-look again

  • Your comment has nothing to do with the argument. The original claim was that evolutionary theory hasn't advanced science or technology, and jesuriah refuted that with the example he provided.

Anyway, there are other better examples, such as the advancements made in medicine and vaccinations as a result of knowledge of evolution.

  • the whole so called "theory" is not testable niether seenable .... isn't that enough to roll it out? all you have is a superstitions made by the scientest during coffee time .... I vhallennge u to present and teatable proof... and any sound theory is base always on tested laws.... do u have any ... as we proof God from testable logic

  • Actually the theory is testable. Do we find bunnies in the Cambrian rock? No. Theory tested positive.

Biology doesn't deal in proof, that's only for mathematics. If you want evidence of the theory, look at ERVs.

  • That's not what the evidence shows. A pattern appears because useful information is kept. Can you give us a prediction based on "control theory"?

I can make several using the theory of evolution.

  • ur argument has no value be cause there is nothing defined or rvrn testable about ur superstition og Evelotuoin... about God every reason is saying that there is a reason for a God.... CTRL theorry shows that parameter estamstion method can define the xitcs of any unknowing system with out seen it .... recall plz!!

  • Xitcs=what?

  • it is a short of characteristics in engineering

  • Also I was referring to predictions on biological concepts.

  • Predictions .... you mean superstitions which tell that there was a monkey crowling and then suddenly hit a tree and because of the hit he start thinking better to walk. by the way Predictions are in the future not in the pasts and which can not be seen

  • So I looked into control theory...Wow you have no understanding of evolution. In order for animals to change over time(something we've observed) there must be a feedback system...There exists no such system in what we observe.

  • look I am an engineer... I believe in systematic reasoning approach .... there is many types of feed back in our lifes ... but the expected feed back must be similer to the type of the object under stady .... you claim an indirect control feedback when it comes to "selection" please understand this first

  • Look I lived with a NASA engineer... guess what, he accepts evolution. The fact of the matter is that you're trying to apply something that has no correlation.

  • nice ..... how many amarican Doctors who are somking !!! ...... You lived with an Engineer .... I am an Engineer .... God will ask you about you belief not about NASA's Engineer Beleif .... they are not always righ ,,,, defend your belieff .... you do not self confedance in your brain ???

  • How many Italian doctors smoke?

Pascals wager? You've got to be smarter than that. Do you realize that evolution is an observed fact?

  • I'll tell you after counting but it does not matter if the smoker is Amrican or Italian... but it matters because doctors knows harm of smoking ... did you get it? "Observed" ??? where?? have you been there?? did recorded any video??

  • do some research about the way lifeforms operate on the planet rather than asking to be spoonfed. evolution is a fact of our observable universe independent of the concept of god. that is, evolution does not, in and of itself, disprove the concept of a higher being, just that genesis is a book that was only as good as the available research of the times. It's 2010. This 'debate' was over long ago. you lost. sorry mate. show up to class on time next round. *shrugs*

  • DUDE! u rock XD

  • Billy Crone said the evolution fairy tale comment several times during his young creation lectures. Maybe she was quoting him?

  • I know that video annoyed me so much that woman omfg!

  • I stopped watching this video at 1:35. If you don't want to watch the whole video of your opposite than I won't listen to you.

  • Do you have a reason or is it just an arbitrary position you hold?

  • You go on to say what we say, but you don't say what you actually believe.

  • What's your point? If you want to know what I believe read a science book.

  • I have read many science text books. I would go out of my way to buy them because I loved science. I don't love science like I used to, but I do know that science is created by God to make evolution look stupid. My reason is to get people saved from hell, tell people about an all powerful, all loving God that wants to be with you forever. what is your reason for being on this earth? Is it to "live your life, make some money than you die". What is your reason? Tell me, I'm interested.

  • "but I do know that science is created by God to make evolution look stupid."

Evolution is accepted by an overwhelming majority of scientists. The only scientists who don't agree have yet to offer up an objection that stands peer review.

If something loves everything, then the love is kind of meaningless, no?

  • You make no sense and I don't understand this statement you are trying to get across. There is a $250,000 reward for anyone with real evidence of evolution. It's been up for a long long time now.

  • What makes no sense? The fact that the scientific community is in consensus on the subject of evolution?

Or the idea that if something loves everything then the special value of love is lost?

Hovind's challenge, to anyone who understands science) is impossible to fulfill. Why? Proof only applies to mathematics. The first the points of his challenge have nothing to do with evolution.

Google "hovind 250,000" and click on the talkorigins link.

  • I don't believe that life has a meaning, or a reason. I also believe asking what the, "reason/meaning of life" is is like asking, "what color is war?". Grammatically it is correct, however when we look at the question it has no meaning. That being said, what I feel compelled to do is leave this world better than it was when I entered it. Part of doing this is learning biology and logic, so that I can dismiss the claims of an "easy fix".

  • You are totally contradicting yourself. You say there is no meaning. If my life had no meaning that would mean I would be sad at all times, I would feel like shit, and most of all I wouldn't give a shit about anyone. Someone in this state of mind wouldn't give a shit if he/she left this world a better place or not. I can't see anyone walking around with a genuine smile on their face and at the same time says "my life has no meaning". Wouldn't that be psychotic if you ever seen such a thing?

  • How am I contradicting myself? If you need a god to be a good person, please don't lose your faith. I'd be scared shitless of egocentric masochists like you running around killing/stealing just for the lulz. I care about this civilization because it is in my best interests to do so. Christians however, have no reason to care about life. This time we spend on the planet is meaningless compared to eternity.

I'm smiling right now, and I believe my life has no meaning.

  • So you are borne, you live a life with no meaning, and than you die. So you are saying that my life, my mom's life, my daughters life, my wife's life has no meaning? They aren't here for their own special reason for living? They are a thing according to you. You might as well call all of civilization insects. In fact that's what evolutionists teach. According to evolutionists we are call parasites to this earth. This earth is created for us. According to your beliefs we are all just parasites.

  • @jasonscfr Yes, you are a parasite cunt. So is your cunt mom, your cunt wife, and your cunt daughter, cunt.

  • totally not called for.

  • Comment removed

  • My daughter knows four languages and she is five, she knows how to play music, she loves everyone. She is five and will grow not to be dumb and naive like you in every sense. She will grow to know that she isn't a parasite. You lower yourself so much that you insult my family. Never in my life would I want to be an evolutionist if this is how they are. You disgust me. You really do see people on this earth as parasites and you really do see that life has no meaning. I feel sorry for you.

  • "You disgust me."

    Agreed.

I have not banned this guy from my channel yet, but was seriously considering doing it when he posted his comment.

  • if you got 3:00, you are a trouper, man i couldn't stand it, it hurt me physically to see someone being that stupid.

  • i gave up by the first minute on that other video

  • lol i only got 2 mins in.

  • Well said. Just to add one last thing...Though I do believe in evolution, it has no bearing on the fact that I am an atheist. Atheist simply means "not theist". These religious morons seem to think that atheism is a belief system. Contrary, we, as atheists, have the freedom to believe what we choose, which, for the most part, is what logic tells us is the most likely conclusion. We are free to change what we believe depending on what new evidence is presented.

    Thank God I'm an atheist!!

  • Haha, you made it about 2:15 further in than I did.

  • They didn't want a discussion, they weren't even trying to be reasonable, they just wanted to impress each other with their parroting skills. Thank you for this video. The voice of reason is always huge relief and a big comfort after listening to dogma and diatribe. Still an atheist. lol

  • Any video where they have to disable comments lose a lot of credibility.

  • good job, Thank you for making this video

  • Thanks for making this. As far as i can tell her goal was to entertain a room full of people and did that quite well. Because proving to me there is a "god" was not even attempted.

  • she displayed some traces of brain washing in her speech. If she was presented with the evidence on both sides of the argument; i wonder which theory she would've chosen?!

  • "i wonder which theory she would've chosen?! " - well considering only one is actually a theory...

  • Yeah!

  • @shukb84

...and by theory i mean a scientific theory something that by definition needs to have a great many avenues of evidence and has been peer reviewed by the greatest minds on the planet.

compare this to 'the God theory' which is infact more aptly labeled the 'unsubstantiated God hypothesis' and the choice becomes clear.

  • I watched the entire video of that exathiest girl and all I could do was hit my head on the desk as I listened to her drone on. There was so much misinformation and straight-out lies in her video that it makes me sad someone could actually believe all that and preach it in front of others while receiving cheers and applause. Cuteness aside the audience should have been booing her off stage and throwing rotten vegetables.

  • Yeah it was skull-fuckingly stupid.

  • Thank you for making this video.

It's so obvious that people like this are speaking of things they know nothing of and refuse to explore on any level. Their argument is made from pure ignorance and seems to only work on people who are equally ignorant of the facts, logic, and truth that defines science.

They make up their minds before ever encountering any information on the subject.

Also the theory itself has helped science enormously such as helping to explain how virus's have adapted.

  • Thank you for making this video.

They've made up their minds and come to their decision before ever encountering any information or doing any research from multiple sources.

  • atheism is not science it is the lack of belief of a God

  • Agreed. !=

  • But science certainly helps.

  • She presented facts, you are in error, but no reason to believe you have brain function after listening to your mouth.

  • Actually, if you would have listened to my video, I pointed out that all of the quotes she used were out of context. This is known as quote mining, as I explained. This is also known as lying, and bearing false witness, as I've explained.

I looked at your page and saw you're subscribed to Shockofgod, who made baseless legal threats against me, WoTM, who's been caught lying and abusing the legal process through false DMCAs, and are "friends" with Krazie316, the bigoted hypocrite...cont..

  • Oops, I thought I removed shock, he is a little way out there for me, sometimes I subscribe so its easier to find more info on someone and check them out...

    lots of 'it' out there

  • Yeah, that guy said that if I didn't remove videos I made commenting on Nephilimfree he was going to pursue legal action against me. I think I used the phrase "fuck off" in a response to him. Just like anyone I don't respond well to baseless threats.

  • When you start off making a comment showing your complete ignorance of the video I made, it's hard to take you seriously. When you have an association with dishonest nutters, it's even harder to take you seriously.

Furthermore, you do realize that atheism != science, right?

  • yes

  • Atheism isn't Science. The definition is " knowledge or a system of knowledge covering general truths or the operation of general laws especially as obtained and tested through scientific method b : such knowledge or such a system of knowledge concerned with the physical world and its phenomena "

  • The videoof this bunch of retard should be called "If you don't want to rage from all the fallacies on this video, don't watch this video"

  • 1 minute into that video i was like HOLY SHIT

i honestly couldnt listen to her saying that Darwin created evolution with no evidence out of thin air and that evolution is a religion altogether.

I seriously wanted to punch her in the face after a few minutes of watching that video.

  • Thanks dude! I felt the same way... started watching and just couldn't waste any more time on it. You hit all the points I would have made excepting that I would have taken special care to point out the irony of this ignorant young woman saying that science is just a fairy tale for adults. So, that which can be seen and documented is less believable than virgin birth and resurrection? At least science doesn't tell me to eat somebody's body and drink their blood. That's beyond wrong, it's sick!

  • belive in global warming"? mother earth religeon?
