I,m a chinese malaysian and I don,t listen to malay song but I can tell you this little guy by the name of SUDIRMAN is one of our country national treasure.And as a malaysia citizen I really hope that those stupid authorities will put aside their idiot beaureaucratic attitude and honour this truly malaysian hero.

Sudirman was very shy and reclusive offstage and a genuinely lovable human being. I bumped into him outside Wisma Stephens once and we had a very pleasant chat. I was amazed that he was so humble and self-effacing and was very sad when he died because his own country, which he loved so much, did not honor him - just because he was gay, Shame on the homophobes in our midst for being so cruel to those who dance to a different tune! I salute your memory, brother Sudirman.
