Video Clarity depends "most of the time" to Bitrate, Kbites per seconds...

medium quality is usally 1.100 - 1-500

good 2000 - 2500

But for better crisp image 5000 - (8)9000 is reccomended... than you can choose a codec as H.264 or .avi.

Surely higher the Kbits per seconds bigger is the video in Gbytes..

Highes is 240fps using Smooth Slow Record, but this can only be used for 3 seconds at a time. Otherwise its 60i / 50i depending on where you live (NTSC or PAL).

what program are you using to get it off the camera and then in youtube with HD??

Im having a hard time, in using PMB software that came with my sony xr200v to get the footage of the cam and then using prism convertor to get into .avi format then virtualdub and MPEG_Stream to get it in HD for youtube. but my isnt as clear.....

Great! The colors are great, the light is great, shadows the same, the resolution I think is not the best perhaps because of youtube compression, but compared with other camcorders (cheaper) this is great. My conclusion after 3 monts of researching on camcorders: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Don' expect to have great light, nice colors, smooth movement from a HD cam at 250$. For a good quality start from at least 800$ +

i think it´s because the files are too big and that has 2 consecuences: 1º Youtube managment would need more and bigger servers. and 2º the videos would be loading for a big amount of time(considering that most of the population has slow connection speed)
