gibbard used to rock back and forth a lot. i don't know if he stopped because he was used to it or what, but my other fave (tim kasher of cursive) still has the tick of holding up his pick hand. i wish ben would go back to feelinbg every word even when he didn't write it. he is such a great singer (not to mention my favorite writer.) we'll see what his marriage does to his style...whatever is good for him...

yeah, i agree with you. the best musicians are the ones who put feeling into every lyric. i love how you can tell that the lyrics mean so much to him. i really hope his music doesn't change once he gets married. inevidably, it will. but honestly, i think i'll really miss heartbroken ben. =)

this song is cool. (heard it on pete & pete.) i liked it so much i got a few of the magnetic fields cds, but much to my dismay, they weren't any good. (at least for my taste.) so if you like this song, consider listening to some of their other songs before you buy any of their CDs!

AW MAN! I remember this song! I first heard it on "The Adventures of Pete" when I was a little kid. The second I heard Handler come in, I recognized it. Plus, Ben Gibbard's a badass. I figured no one knew about that song. That's so cool.
