You couldn't realy say, because all 4 of their singers(Lord Worm, Mike, Martin and Matt.) are perfect live. Thats the great thing about a band who actualy play their music in the studio recordings.

Wow, great performance by Mike. Listen to this and then listen to the newer one with Lord Worm. It's amazing how much better it sounds when he's actually singing lyrics (as opposed to Lord Worm's incoherent, off-time howling).

they both fit cryptopsy very well, but if you're looking at cryptopsy as a death metal band, then its lord worm all the way.

i think that, with disalvo's vocals, however, he along with cryptopsy creates a whole new genre. while i prefer lord worm's vocals, i think that both 'whisper supremacy' & 'and then you'll beg' are two of the most inventive albums to come along in a LONGGG time.

i actually hate dsalvo, he sounds like an amped up version of that homo Jamey Jasta, his vocals honestly dont say death metal to me, his stage presence and vocals say tough guy hardcore, and i hate it. LORD WORM FOR LIFE!!!

i think between both Dslavo and lord worm they both have certain characteristics that make them good ..dislavo has that deep barking growl which gos good with alot of the lower toned songs big..lord work has that extremely powerful long lasting scream and other vocal tricks that add to cryptopsys creativity.. no use on arguing over whos better theyre both perfect for cryptopsy but in different ways

personally i prefer DiSalvo. but thats just my opinion. Whisper Supremacy is one of the best metal albums around and i think DiSalvo did a great job on it.

Lord Worm sounds like a weak girl, he can't do a gutteral, it just sounds like a 15 year old trying to do one, and his screams are often poor. Listen to the latest Cryptopsy, and tell me you don't find the vocals underwhelming and weak ;)
