Hello there! Have you tried the Fat Blast Furnace (search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my sister lost lots of useless fat.
@aliasgr92 also. this dude doesnt seem to be as experienced out there, and there are other who offer the same as he only free, like scooby1961, watch this vid for abs /watch?v=p_0TUFpIqRQ
And go to Scoobysworkshop com for his entire free training site, most extensive free site on the web.
hey, i've been training hard for five years and i can testify to the effectiveness of what he's doing; circuit training is the cornerstone of my workouts. when i first read about it and tried it i could barely do 3 pull-ups. now i'm doing 5 circuits that are 20 push-ups, 30 sit-ups and 10 pull ups with a minute and thirty seconds rest between each circuit. this shit will get you POWERFUL. good work.
Hey Vince, just a question; You said to focus on explosive power and speed, but isn't it better to take it slower ? Especially with the pushups as it feels like you work a lot harder the slower your motions. I dunno, just wondering.
@Tyr360 you work your slow twitch muscles if you take it slow. The reason it feels like you work harder is because you deal with the lactic acid build up longer.
Hey. I saw a bio on you on YouTube. Do you still do any medium-to-long distance running? If so, how can I maintain satisfactory muscle mass, and achieve long-distance (as in half-marathon) running? So far, I've found your videos (and those belonging to another fitness expert) to be some of the most useful, and insightful ones yet, for me, at least. Thank so much.
i got a question, anyone can answer it, im trying to start working out this summer, can i do bodyweight circuits 3 times a week and if so do it really work?
DOES ANYBODY have any tips for the planche? it's fucking annoying me I've been doing it for like 3 months and I'm still on the "advanced tuck planche" stage. HELP?
I believe bodyweight training can be just as efficient as weight lifting because there is just so much you can do with your body.. All you need is imagination and some equipment. CBA going to the gym, to me it just seems like an annoying hassle.
see now ino what you meen by not relying on cardio for fat loss theres actually loads of diffrent ways you can do it i meen with cardio it deosent reli stimulate the muscles but when you use body weight exerises you actually use your muscles aswell so your bassically building muscle and burning fat at the same time
pushups, pullsups, chin ups and sit ups is all anyone needs. isolated workouts with wieghts are good for body builders, but as far as functional strength..these workouts can't be beat..and off course dead lifts and squats are a must.
Wow I really liked this. All people should be doing this at the minimum. I have been using resistance bands and balance during meditation, but adding this before or after will be amazing. Great video, hope more people find it :-)
@owner620 It depends what you want out of training, all training should be 100% situational, for instance if you want to build a good amount of muscle, it is counter productive to do the fat loss stuff
how often should I do muscle exercises and how often should I do cardio? im doing cardio twice a week and muscle exercises 3-4 times a week, but Im not too sure if that is a proper method
Awesome dude you really sell that well! Im a PT as well & these explosive techniques are great depending on your goals. you wana get ripped... do this guys routine, it'll work & fast. great for girls too.
You can get workouts fast with no equipment necessary. I am looking at incorporating more basic body weight exercises into my client workouts and my racers work out DVD. Vince is right on.
He also makes a great point about the necessity of speed.
I'm 14, is it true that a young, beginner "body builder" (or whatever you would call us, by my size right now I would never consider myself a body builder... but I guess since I do workouts to help gain and maintain muscle strength and size on a regular basis I am one...) can only do body weight exercises because it may have lasting negative affects in the future?
@SantiagoxMartinez nah it wont have any bad affects in the future to be honest with you the only bad thing is if oyu dont do this video then youd probly have bad joints cus ive been working out since i was 14 also and i just went straight into the workout lol :) and yeah my elbows need to be cracked often and my shoulders crack alot two but my muscles are fine just my joins are kinda naffed
This is an awesome video sir. I can't wait to try this out at home. I've been looking for bodyweight exercises and I can incorporate this with my existing bodyweight program. I also need the cardio for my grappling activities. Thanks very much, Vince

@Sused97 Not true! As a corrections officer Ive seen inmates who havent touched a weight in a decade and they are diesel as hell! Using pull-ups, push-ups, burpess, squats and partner lifts like fireman's carry squats etc.
@tat2edup U CANT BUILD SERIOUS MUSCLE MASS WITH THAT! PLS dont try to explain me something im a personal coach and studied sports sciene i know what im talking about thank you
@Slatkisnita I could give two shits what youve studied LOL! I don't understand why people leave negative comments. Would you rather take advice from someone you never seen sitting behind some editors desk in corporate America...(menshealth etc....) This guy is in super shape and gives some great info for freakin free!
I just did this a couple days ago and it was great , i sweat alot . But my legs have been killing me for the past 2 days , they still are ... Am i doing something wrong . ? :/
@Cuntexplosion Maybe you should not be such a douche bag ? I DO REAL SPORTS :O , I obviously did the squats wrong , just because it hurt doesnt mean i dont play sports you dumbass ,
@nojimmys12345 you should take at least 3 days break and 4 days workout^ ^. so that your muscles will not be stressed all the time. I wish you understand what I'm saying because english is just my second language:)
@nojimmys12345 I realize that your comment is 3 months old as I type this, but I figured I'd respond anyway in case you're still wondering. I doubt it's because you're doing something wrong, it's most likely because your legs aren't used to that sort of attention. Also, even though these are warm up exorcises, you need to warm up even before then by walking around a bit, or doing some stretching. You can't just get up from sitting around watching tv and start doing this stuff.
presenter speaks of funtional fitness, what funtion does the rectus abdominis have other than flexion. back to school for you young man, too funny. lol
i had to watch this twice, its too funny, i am still not convinced this isnt a wind up, from the opening comment on how you dont need flashy equipment to train and he is standing in a the smartest of gyms, everything he says he then contradicts himself. ps muscle pump and plyo does not equal functional fitness. lol
what makes a martial artist so much more inshape.. if hes not sweating, like he said your not pushing yourself hard enough.. and if its so easy for him make it 30 seconds with 15 seconds rest.. 2:1 ratio ive heard is way better for burning fat.. i would finish with skipping and jumping jacks or something.. to make it a lil bit harder
canaceian i agree with you. This workout will probally not get a martial artist soaked. But as he said it is good for a warm up, atleast im gonna use this when im stretching, haha :D.
it's to get a strong core. peoples goal solely for abs is funny. just make your goal to get a strong core, the six pack will come. getting muscles for aesthetic reasons are for jokers like this guy in the video. join a martial arts club and this guys workout will easily be put to shame, even from a beginners class.
@ canaceian: oh yeah right martial artist are the best guys in the world :P of course not. Maybe the would own a bodybuilder in their stuff but the opposite is also the case.
Vince, your on it. I love what your doing. Using No Equipment or Special Training Aids! Enhance your success by training the way the athlete was intended without the aid of -
machines - weights - rubber bands - weighted balls - treacherous balance gizmos or expensive special training aids.
@SportsDrills So humans were not supposed to work with things other then their bodies?
"Enhance success by adding functional strength training to your programs. The body is ment to move fluidly & not to always overcoming resistance." would have been better.
To say that medicine balls, bands, balance 'gizmos', etc. do not fall into the human work paradigm is a joke . Learing to use the body & its weight is the best foundation for strength, but do not fool yourself, tools are also good.
@vaatc I have nothing against those things. Bodyweight exercises are great for large groups of teams and athletes that have limited space, time & money. Not trying to dis the toys. They work well for coordinated adults in a 1 on 1 to 5 setting. I've seen more jokers bust there ass & faces using toys & n a tank of an economy were all in now- Save your money, make intelligent modifications without the "as seen on tv " garbage toys. I work & deal with coaches that can't afford $ or injury risks.
cool..I think you could get really creative with this type of workout..It would be nice to have some kind of timing device that you dont have to watch..something that rings or beeps every 15 seconds or for whatever span of time you set it for...I do yoga and Ill put a short song on repeat..so I can do 50 seconds of downward dog..then the son ends and repeats..when it repeats I know 50 seconds has gone by..then I can switch to a different exercise. thanks for the tips!
thanks, I have never been able to find something like this I didn't know it existed...stopwatches let you time splits but you have to keep your eye on it and it and then fidget with it,,,this disrupts flow and concentrations...I see what was known and fairly obvious to you was unknown to me..now I know thanks!
so true lol. although u dont want chest touchin floor do you? like with butterflys u don't want the dumbells to touch cause it takes away from the workout
Reason I said Chest touch floor is to achieve the whole purpose of wait for it.... Bodyweight...
Pushing upwards with chest on floor uses about 75% of your bodyweight compared to mid air i.e. 6-8 inches from the floor.
I mean, I must be wrong seeing someone designed a video about BodyWeight Exercises yet doesn't use the weight of the body to perform them.... Ummmm nice one Vince
this is similar to Flip Fitness - total body workout with a deck of cards - cool thing it changes eveytime you shuffle. Kick butt - no equipment like this.
I tried doing regular burpees instead of half burpees. I was gasping for air like a maniac. I also tried doing it all without any rest at all, but that was impossible :P
bodybuilders generally don't have as much stamina as a all round athlete athlete such as a rugby player who must combine strength with stamina. however i'm sure this bloke could easily work another three sets
Vince looks funny on High Knees, still love this guy tho. Although, even though this bodyweight routine exercises are tough when we go through them with intensity and speed, its more of a cardio fat burning workout (which is good as it produces lactic acid), but we also gotta keep in mind that this workout is NOT going to build muscle. May tone them a little.... Thats why Vince said for him thats his warm up before he actually hits the weights. Thanks Vince and keep the vids coming!!

aliasgr92 4 months ago
@aliasgr92 All excersizes work the abs, either stabalising (pushups) or contracting (jump squats)
Other muscles included are Hamstings, Calves, Glutes, quads (whole leg basicly)
Other muscles are also chest, triceps and alittle shoulders (on the pushups)
If you a beginer you can do this workout 3 times a week, Monday, Wensday & Friday.
And since this circle training is so short, repet what he did 3-6 times per workoutt :)

cool..I think you could get really creative with this type of workout..It would be nice to have some kind of timing device that you dont have to watch..something that rings or beeps every 15 seconds or for whatever span of time you set it for...I do yoga and Ill put a short song on repeat..so I can do 50 seconds of downward dog..then the son ends and repeats..when it repeats I know 50 seconds has gone by..then I can switch to a different exercise. thanks for the tips!

thanks, I have never been able to find something like this I didn't know it existed...stopwatches let you time splits but you have to keep your eye on it and it and then fidget with it,,,this disrupts flow and concentrations...I see what was known and fairly obvious to you was unknown to me..now I know thanks!

chest not suppose to touch floor

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This guys a joker! He doesn't go full range of motion.
Push ups should be from chest contact on floor to 98% extension not lock out.
Mountain Climbers, man get those knees right up to your chest & extend fully out. Same applies with Thrusters or 1/2 Burpees.
Squats, keep back straight & upright & knees fully bent like almost having your arse touch the floor to full standing extension.
Jump Squats should be as Squats but exploding upwards upon extension. Reach that ceiling!
Then repeat :)

so true lol. although u dont want chest touchin floor do you? like with butterflys u don't want the dumbells to touch cause it takes away from the workout
SleepyGoose1 2 years ago
Reason I said Chest touch floor is to achieve the whole purpose of wait for it.... Bodyweight...
Pushing upwards with chest on floor uses about 75% of your bodyweight compared to mid air i.e. 6-8 inches from the floor.
I mean, I must be wrong seeing someone designed a video about BodyWeight Exercises yet doesn't use the weight of the body to perform them.... Ummmm nice one Vince

He's a "joker" that is fit and in shape.

this is similar to Flip Fitness - total body workout with a deck of cards - cool thing it changes eveytime you shuffle. Kick butt - no equipment like this.

This is one of the best warm up styles there is. If u want to do it as just a work out increase times and sets. and do final set till failure.
Sayo77 2 years ago
I tried doing regular burpees instead of half burpees. I was gasping for air like a maniac. I also tried doing it all without any rest at all, but that was impossible :P
Chaaarge 2 years ago
i did the workout but instead of 15 i did 30 for each and 20sec rest 2 sets.. when i stoped i ended up feeling rally dizzy then puked

greierusu1 2 years ago
wats washboard abs mean??
dont be an ass and make fun of me cuz i dont kno.
greierusu1 2 years ago
It's just another way of describing a six-pack. As in, abs that are so hard, they have a bumpy texture like an old-fashioned washboard.

vince is out of breatyh after 1 set and hes telling us to do minimum of 4?
wise up as if any of us people watchin this video will be able to do that!
sexydeano 3 years ago
bodybuilders generally don't have as much stamina as a all round athlete athlete such as a rugby player who must combine strength with stamina. however i'm sure this bloke could easily work another three sets
plastictroll 2 years ago
Sexydeano, if you notice in the beginning, he actually explains that you should be breathing heavily after a short time.
CheezMonsterCrazy 2 years ago
actually! hes already done his full workout before! hes is doing it agen to show us! and probably had to edit the extra workk!

Thanks Vince and keep the vids coming!!

you need to lose belly fat. the ABS are there, but can only be visible when excess fat is removed around your mid section.
donk4y 3 years ago
Stop eating carbs at night or when your active daily life is finished for the day.
do this kinda stuff for 12 weeks and don,t burn out by doing it 7 days a week try say 3-4 days a week with 1-2 lighter cardio days.
eat 3 small meals and 3 normal meals a day in alternate order.
have protein in each meal,
eat 500 less calories than normal but make sure you get enough carbs before & after training or you will feel like shit.
