this hack does work ive tried it. BUT there is another one to change how much money you have completely (i went from 435 to like 1million in like 2.5) just take how much money you have in you inv and multi by 8 first scan then change amount of money in inv the multi that number by 8 repeat till youve ONE address then put to what ever you want open inv and look HOLY TITTY EFFING CHRIST YOU'RE RICH!!!!

the reason it goes back to 125000 when u insert 1000000 is b/c since u multiplied the original gold # by 8, it divides it by 8 in-game. but even if u change it to 2000000, it only gives 5k after the quest is done

If you apply the same method to exp and gold and freeze the values, everytime you kill a monster you level up and your gold gets saved. On 1 quest you can get like 12 levels and 40k gold. Sometimes when you level, the saving process bugs and you can click continue repeatedly for 2k gold each time.

You don't need to have the Dragon Amulet to do this.

I'm not sure, but I think it works with any quest. I remember doing it with the Sneevil Treefort quest.

REMEMBER to finish the quest or you don't get the gold.

i just found out something that saves a lot of time! i am doing the money hack on the haunted castle quest from artix, and since its the same exact thing every time, the location for gold is in the same place. i accidentally kept it frozen, and noticed that upon entering the quest, it is already at whatever you had it set for last time. i just enter the quest, then "abandon" because it saves, even though it says it wont.

hey, i have been playing around with this, and i found out that the max gold in a quest is 4000 (32000, in cheat engine). if you tell it to give you more than that, then it only gives you 2000. so, i would recommend, instead of doing 1000000 in cheat engine, put in 32000, so you get double the gold at the end of the quest.

Hwen doing this hack, go to Amityvale and keep going right until you see Artix, talk to him and secect "haunted house" or haunted something, do this hack with the hp and crit hacks, After beating the quest, you get 10,000 gold! this realy works I used it to get the new DA armor and all doom weapons.

Thought I'd note something here that I'm sure everyone will love to know: Go talk to Artix in Amityville and go on the Haunted Mansion mission (the one where you get essence for Doom upgrades). Hack your gold count there, and enjoy... the cap for that mission is 10,000 gold. Highest I've found yet.
