Wow do their commercials suck. Of course, it's all about the ego of Godaddy's owner. Nascar fans and domain buyers/web developers are about as far apart as you can get. Some people have more money then sense.
Here's the real story on this. CBS decided not to air this one. GoDaddy purchased TWO slots for commercials during the Superbowl. They submitted FIVE ads for CBS to selected from. CBS picked the two they wanted. This was one of the THREE they decided not to air.
That certainly does not mean it was "banned." That's just stupid.
So you're saying the FCC banned this commercial? For what? The FCC sometimes censors, but they don't "ban" things. That's just stupid.
People like to put "banned" on any video these days because they know it will draw more viewers. People think they're getting to see something naughty, exclusive or shocking, so they click on it. This wasn't "banned."
The FCC will ban anything they do not feel is appropriate for viewers watching a certain channel or they will ban commercials if Major Businesses like the NFL ask them to because they don't want their image destroyed by commercials like this.
CBS decided they did not want to air this one. They had a choice of 5 commercials to fill TWO spots. This was one of the three they did not choose. It was not "banned." Get over it.

I like to stage my beliefs on youtube. As innocent as this video may seem, I found a religious / political aspect of it I disagree with.
I will continue by ranting about it for the next 5 comments. Eventually I will get bored (Because I cant get laid so I get my thrills out of this) and end the argument with someone else calling them stupid / fag / intellectually blind / lost / or the famous "You just dont get it."
I also post these arguments on blogs so my friends can tell me I'm right.

Here's the real story on this. CBS decided not to air this one. GoDaddy purchased TWO slots for commercials during the Superbowl. They submitted FIVE ads for CBS to selected from. CBS picked the two they wanted. This was one of the THREE they decided not to air.
That certainly does not mean it was "banned." That's just stupid.

People like to put "banned" on any video these days because they know it will draw more viewers. People think they're getting to see something naughty, exclusive or shocking, so they click on it. This wasn't "banned."

The FCC will ban anything they do not feel is appropriate for viewers watching a certain channel or they will ban commercials if Major Businesses like the NFL ask them to because they don't want their image destroyed by commercials like this.

THE FCC DID NOT "BAN" THIS.
CBS decided they did not want to air this one. They had a choice of 5 commercials to fill TWO spots. This was one of the three they did not choose. It was not "banned." Get over it.
The FCC does not kowtow to "businesses like the NFL" simply because they don't like something.
