Firstly, everyone has to recognise we DO NOT NEED ANIMAL TESTING FOR COSMETICS. There is no way to justify it, especially because there is other methods. Yes cancer research is highly valuable, and if animal testing is done humanely, then theres no issue. However if there is abuse, neglect, cruelty and violence, people have every reason to argue against it. No one ever said it wasn't useful, they just question if it is right.
The truth is that animal testing is evil and there are other ways to find better results. Everyday more scientists come up with new technologies and there are obviously other ways to get these tests done. I cried while watching this. And yes, medical research is necessary but the way an animals body reacts to something is not the same way our body will. There are other methods. Look it up
If you wish to stop Animal testing, you will have to travel to every cancer research institute, every immunology, toxicolgy, pharmacology, chemistry, genetics, virology research center and tell them. Everything we use is at least indirectly related to animal testing, from safety of your detergent to vaccines for your family. They do it particularly inhumanely and the conditions are way below even the standards they should be meeting for medical testing, let alone unnecessary testing.

Every single animals body functions different and usually after animal testing they still do clinical trials where people volunteer to try the drug. This video really did break my heart. An animal tester would then go on to declare "chocolate is dangerous to humans" based on this result. Clearly it is false, but it would occur because such is poisonous to canines. In my eyes ALL cruelty/testing on animals should be stopped. 1.16% of human diseases are found in animals, that means that over 98% AREN'T!!! Just because some person may want to invent another hairspray or cosmetic, hundreds of animals are killed in the process of doing so. Just another thing to consider, at least 50 drugs on the market today cause cancer in lab animals. These drugs are only allowed because 'animal tests aren't relevant'.

Firstly, everyone has to recognise we DO NOT NEED ANIMAL TESTING FOR COSMETICS. There is no way to justify it, especially because there is other methods. Yes cancer research is highly valuable, and if animal testing is done humanely, then theres no issue. However if there is abuse, neglect, cruelty and violence, people have every reason to argue against it. No one ever said it wasn't useful, they just question if it is right.

Everyday more scientists come up with new technologies and there are obviously other ways to get these tests done. I cried while watching this. And yes, medical research is necessary but the way an animals body reacts to something is not the same way our body will. There are other methods. Look it up

Please learn your facts before commenting. Animal testing is only used when it is absolutely necessary, it is absolutely the most expensive method of research. Everything we use is at least indirectly related to animal testing, from safety of your detergent to vaccines for your family. If you want to go back 2000 years and live in the woods again, don't support animal testing.

We are different than the other species and would react differently to the experiments than the animals. Even if it did save 'millions' of lives, do they need to be treated in that way? @Genthilton My video is aiming less at the medical side and more at product testing. Companies such as Proctor and Gamble and Unilever unnecessarily test products on animals. They do it particularly inhumanely and the conditions are way below even the standards they should be meeting for medical testing, let alone unnecessary testing.

Every single animals body functions different and usually after animal testing they still do clinical trials where people volunteer to try the drug. An animal tester would then go on to declare "chocolate is dangerous to humans" based on this result. Clearly it is false, but it would occur because such is poisonous to canines. In much the same way it is believed many cures for diseases for things like AIDS could have missed because they've had a similar effect.

@dardraa You are an idiot. First of all, testing on animals slows down research. It can tell us a great deal of how the animal reacts during experiencing a disease, but it does not accurately predict how dangerous a drug can affect a human. In other words, drug tests on animals do not protect humans from harmful medications. Human systems and animal systems are competely different. Do you have a pet? A dog, a cat, a mouse, a rabbit? I hope you never have kids that want pets... Sick fuck

I think the animals suffer so much, the majority of the animals who are killed for meat in Britain are killed quickly and painlessly and have had good lives. so it's not as bad but animal testing is disgusting, how can they do it and not see the pain in the animals' eyes, I cried so much at this video :'( :'(

Pitrok products inc. deodorant (pump spray is best) NOT & NEVER tested on animals. I have found some companies that claim to be 'all natural' and 'animal cruelty free' to be using SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) which has been tested on animals in the past. Any recommendations? I'm in the UK. Regards

In my eyes ALL cruelty/testing on animals should be stopped. 1.16% of human diseases are found in animals, that means that over 98% AREN'T!!! Just because some person may want to invent another hairspray or cosmetic, hundreds of animals are killed in the process of doing so. Just another thing to consider, at least 50 drugs on the market today cause cancer in lab animals. These drugs are only allowed because 'animal tests aren't relevant'.
