@parkjoojoo did you even watch it? lol the 1st operation didn't remove all of his malignant tumor but there was a 2nd operation available to try and prolong his life. Unfortunately, there were possible side effects such as paralysis and memory loss. Right when his time was just about to run out Rio convinced him to have the 2nd operation anyways, even though there were those serious risks involved. He had it, and it was obviously successful, and although he didn't undergo paralysis

Even without the audio.. it's been an amazing ending for this movie.. The whole movie was great! Addition to my fave's of happy ended movie.. here's some recommendation to watch, "Love me Not", "Hanamizuki", "Cyborg She", "Crazy Waiting", "Secret"... This can all be found here @ Youtube, Hmmm.. What else, there's too many.. ^_^ Arigatou Gozaimasu for this movie again!

I think he VAGUELY remembered her and, based upon her actions, that made him suspicious and when he was about to ask (Maybe though it seems like he may have just wanted to get tea with her) she hugged him and assured him of the idea that he DID know her.

Nozomi is so beautiful, I honestly expected the prof. to die but he didn't! / He probably came back to her because she seem familiar just like how Rio saw his picture and instantly fell for him.
