it's not impossible for marian to be dead. in the "real" robin hood story marian doesnt exist, neither is robin lorrd of loxley, he's a yeoman, as well as other differences. you can do anything with legends, and change them as you like on tv. but i agree it doesnt seem to work with the known legend does it.

you're right but the fiction starts with marian and she was also one of the principal character..itdoesn't make sense that a fiction has to be ruined because one of the actor wants to leave! (sorry for my bad english)

Marian died because Lucy Griffiths wanted to leave the show in order to play in other films/series... :'(

I think in the first script Marian didnt die ! but they had to change the script ...

In some versions of the story, she died in Nottingham before the Sheriff was defeated and was buried by a tree. Then again, in some versions of the legend, it was Little John, not Robin who ultimately killed the Sheriff.

Richard armitage said in an interview that he is looking forward to returning to shooting RH in May....But it will be weired not having Lucy Griffths there....He also doesent agree with the writers decison (But it was Lucys Decison right?)So Marain aint coming back....But i think its nice that not even the people in the show agree with the decison!

BBC wrekced a great show by killing Marian.....all fans upset at this...want Marain back.....unlikely....Series 3 will see Robin fall in love with someone new.....it totally sucks!!!!

The Westlife boys are still going strong. They just released their 9th album last Monday here in the UK. It's good too :) This song was on their 2nd and 3rd uk albums so it's pretty old now but it is a great song!

P.S. ellasophia1 - Westlife and Robin together - yum! It's a great video. Hope everyone's watching the new series on the BBC. Tonight's ep was brill!
