Casual interview with a great band. Re-Education Through Labour was awesome and one of my favorite albums of the 2000's. But I got to wonder how the implication can be made that Rise Against or Rancid are alternative bands. When you sell that many albums and get that much airplay your just a mainstream band however you slice it.

also i just read the rest of your comment, here in Philly Rise Against doesn't get much air play, the only songs they do play are Survive and Swing life away and they just recently started doing that (within the past 2 - 3 years) so idk what you are talking about with the whole mainstream label, then again you couldn't get their album name right so you probably just don't know what you are talking about.
