Movies in which Martin Lawrence plays a cop: College Road Trip, National Security, Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, Big Momma's House, Big Momma's House 2 and Blue Streak. I mean, goddamn! How many times can he possibly play the same part? In my opinion, Raven-Symone pretty much stopped being relevant after "The Cosby Show." Why are so many comedians taking the cheesy Disney or Disney-like movie route? (i.e., Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence and George Lopez)

Martin Lawrence is a great actor and comedian. He was a convincing cop in Bad Boys and did very well in the action scenes. He had his personal dilemmas but who hasn't? Focus on his work as an actor.

I'd rather see Robert Zemeckis force his wife to wear a motion capture suit, instead of watching College Road Trip. I'd rather see Carl and Russel drive a Bugatti Veyron all over the gay[as in stupid, not the other meaning], fictional[But not the real people]characters of High School Musical, then drive it through the whole school, destroying their sing-alongs, instead of watching Raven make funny jokes. I don't think kids want to see a film like this unless it has a gimmick. BHC had one.

Martin Lawrence in Blue Streak started out as a jewel thief along with Dave Chapelle and others until 1 of the members in his group double crosses em n he hides the diamond in this construction site which turns out 2 be a police station, hence forth why he becomes a cop in the movie. so he wouldn't get arrested. Blue Streak was pretty dam funny 2.:)

Maybe awesome for children, but there are better ways to entertain kids than regurgitating the same lame cliches. Why can't Disney make a family/kids movie that will actually keep the parents entertained as well? Trying to be cutesy and "wholesome" is fine, but it doesn't require a lack of originality.

That's not to say you're wrong for enjoying it; I'm glad you found something to enjoy in it, in fact. My point is there's a reason this movie did so poorly; namely, it was a poorly made film.
