@sweetgypsywife - He did to me all my life. Many years i played his music in the streets of Europe. I never went to one of his concerts. After his years with Roshi het started to tour again. I thought maybe this is my last chance so I travelled to Germany.
It was amazing, not just a concert. It was a real happening. Seven times his audience called him back to the stage. To many of us It became the best concert ever! As long as i live i'll never forget his kind of quiet human dignity.
@youtenpatube I met him briefly many years ago - after that time when ever I was depressed I would eat blueberry blintzes. Never made the connection until a year or so ago that he was the reason - I'm so thankful he was in the world at the same time I was...

Great poem.
I just newly discovered Leonard a few years ago, maybe some day I will see him at one of his last concerts.
