  • Oh. I forgot to add. The Simms model in the megacode room screams, yells, makes odd requests, breaths, bleeds, and even has pulses! It was pretty cool drawing labs on it, and checking lung sounds/pulses on it. I get a kick out of seeing what boxer prints the SIMMS model will be sportin' from year to year. This year was yellow rubber duckies! Peace out!!! :-)

  • ...The classes are 10 hrs for two days. Their are enough brief breaks for the students to recoop from info "front-load". Also, the advanced airway and megacode stations are very organized/run smoothly. No student is overlooked and receives adequate hands-on time at each assigned station. I recommend Master Train to all my co-workers and HCP's. Peace!! :-)

  • I just received my ACLS certificate, card and pen from Master Train earlier today. Their facility is located in San Antonio, TX. I'm an LVN pursuing my RN. However, I train with these guys ever 2 years to keep my certifications current. I love the flow, set up and organization of their programs...

  • no review of h's & t's? oh brother. sooo sim - lab-ish.

  • Get the ACLS manual for cheap here:

  • Yes, it is much better to code in the ambulance. At least there you can get intubated with a combitube and have the geezer squeezer hooked up to you. Heck, why even come to hospital at all?

  • i must say id much rather code in an ambulance than an er. No offense to you docs and rn's, but medics are superior in code management. sorry. and there is usually only 2-3 of us compared to a code in hospital when atleast half a dosen people are running around the pt. I see it all the time. its crazy

  • @giffystyle Typical know-it-all paramedic. Dime a dozen.

  • looks like the chest compressions are being done on the wrong side...he's compressing thr R side?? that's what it looks like from here. Very informative guys. Thanks for posting.

  • there is no right and wrong side in doing cpr as long as u r compressing in an 45 degree angle..

  • Great job!!!

  • You fail! LOL, you waited for him to code before doing any real assessment...
