i been playing this game and i beat it but for sum reason i cant get a finishing move. do u have to do a specail move or do u need to have a lil ying yang up. im so lost. can u help me
Oh you haven't unlocked the finish moves? Or you just don't know when to use 'em?
If you go to the "Book of Knowledge" option (which is available from the main menu or pause screen), you see that bottom row of cards? Most of those are finishers. Put the cursor over 'em and they'll give you instructions such as "Get 1,000,000 points in The Old House to unlock!"
Then, when you beat guys, they'll sometimes turn red and kinda stagger a bit. Be careful not to hit them, or you'll just beat 'em.
Anyway, once you hit them and they stand there, glowin red, a button will appear over their head--either X or Y on the 360 or Square or Triangle on the PS3. Hit the button and you'll do one of the finishers you've unlocked, selected by random.
Considering the nigh "just-framing" aspect of the reversals I would say that they are almost useless to plan out and mainly are just a happy accident of ordinary combat which is just bad programming.
Exactly; reversals take a LOT of effort. It's almost luck to have them land, which is just lame. They should have made it so that when you avoid an attack, you can follow up with a counter-attack. I mean...the current reversal system is just horrible.
Quality is very nice, guess you fixed the problems that were plaguing your other capture card. There seem to be a lot of "2.5D" platformers coming out recently.
