  • AWESOME

  • John Tartaglia???? WHAT?!?!?

  • Hope to see more

  • The set in London is far much better than the original broadway set!

  • Wow. I truly love the set. I love how the mirror was made. A lot of time and effort must have gone into this.

  • I'm so gutted that the west end version isnt half of what the broadway version was, I feel like the broadway cast were so much stronger, the songs were perfect (west end have cut bits out of songs) and the sets were so much better and were 360' where as the west end set is just 2D :( I love this show and am so dissappointed. I was so excited for it to transfer to west end. The only things that are better in the west end is the dragon and the song 'forever' other than that broadway wins hand down

  • i cant believe they put this much AMAZING work just for a 1 year run.... Who ever the boss is took away an amazing show.

  • your show is so cool

  • This is by far one of my favorite musicals and im very sad to see it go off broadway =( .. i love everything about it and they sets and lights were amazing! they really took your breath away when you saw the show! <3

  • To this day I'm still shocked that Shrek wasn't nominated for its lighting or sets,

  • well it won a drama desk, so theres some consolation but it was surprising for everyone that the Tonys seemed to almost ignore Shrek for its sets

  • Wait, is John onstage playing Pinocchio???????? how does he do both????????

  • Awesome quick-changes. :D

  • he does both. check episode 9.

  • oh to find out watch episode 9: real boy john expalins it all

  • watch the webisode the real boy

  • there not in the same scene expet for 1 that a stage hand contols the drgon instead

  • Pinnicchio isn't on stage at all while the mirror is

  • he runs.... very fast... oh! he also puppeteers the dragon head.... so.... haha he is amazing

  • @Melensko ok his scheduel: gets pino costume on, sings, takes it off, runs upstairs, has stuff glued to his face, does the mirror, runs downstairs, does the puppets in backround for travel song, goes back upstairs, does the mirror again, runs downstairs, puts harnest on, does dragon, puts pino costume back on, ends the show. i felt so bad for this guy!

  • @BrdwyGerry Pinnochio isn't on for about half an hour, so he multitasks and does the dragon puppeteering aswell!

  • I loveeeddd the set! It's was amazing and incredible and any other word that has the same meaning as fantastic!

  • i have issues with the dragon....

  • spielburg has been used aswell.

  • The Set is much like the one from 'Lord of the Rings - on Stage'!

  • love shrek

  • I love the stage so much! It's amazing!

  • who is that stud at 3:05

  • saw this last night, and no words can describe it's greatness!!!

  • I know, I'm going again and this has gotten me even more excited! Could you tell me what Farquaad named everything when you saw it?

  • Well, the only naming thing I remember was him naming the horse Beyonce, but what other times were there?

The Beyonce part got many laughs!!! :-)

  • The lady he calls to "fill them in and show them out" before the Wicked part and the drink he has before "The Ballad of Farquaad".

Beyonce (or whatever he names his horse) always gets a lot of laughs, lol!

  • I didn't know he changed the name of the lady and the drink! That's awesome! When I was there he called the horse 'Plastic Horse.' What did he call it when you were there?

  • He called the horse Fiberglass XD

and he called the lady "Hilary" and had a mojito (in fact there's an ad for a kind of mojito near my school and everytime I pass it I think of him saying that, lol)

  • he called the woman Hilary, but i'm not sure what the drink was...

  • The woman (who was white) he called Condoleeza, and the horse was Miley Cyrus for my show.

  • I smell a Tony nom!

  • Yeah, at least for sets, lighting and costume. They're brilliant!

  • They have those three in the bag, no doubt about it. I don't think there's anything they could lose it to! Nominations are annouced on May 5 (I believe) and I can't wait!

  • Wow! Thanks for informing me! Now I can't wait either! And I envy your profile pic by the way. Haha. However, 9 to 5 is a good contender for set design too. But I still hope for Shrek to win!

  • That's my birthday! Now I really can't wait!

  • That's a pretty awesome birthday present, not gonna lie! Hair opened on my birthday, so that was pretty exciting. :)

  • That's cool =D

  • i love dis!

  • saw the show a couple weeks ago and it was amazing. The set and how it works is just incredible. They did a wonderful job making and putting together this stage. BRAVO!!!

  • My favorite part of stages: The Sets and Lightings. And this set is amazing! And the lighting fits every scene! I love it!
