Huh? You don't watch college football? The #1 soccer stadium in Europe might just crack the top 10 in America. Ohio st., Penn St., Texas, Tennessee, Alabama all hold over 100,000. USC, Georgia, UCLA, LSU, and the Cotton Bowl all hold over 90,000.

If you count the pros add in Washington and Dallas for 90,000 and 100,000 respectively and all our stadiums are WAYYY better than most of those stadiums with their tracks and circular design placing people way, way far away

Actually, the biggest stadium in Europe is Velký Strahovský Stadion with almost 250,000 seating capacity. Yet it seems that not many know of it, and although I'm not from that country, I know of it.

Also, it is now being used for training facilities instead.

Germany took advantage of the World Cup to renovate a lot of stadia. I went to the Olympiastadion in Berlin last year for a Bundesliga match. That was such a cool stadium; a great mix of the old and the new that makes it unique!

Croke Park is owned by the GAA, and has hosted traditional Irish games like hurling for almost 100 years. Football (as it is a foriegn sport) was banned from being played there in what was known as "rule 42"

The rule was temporarily lifted in 2006 when Lansdown road was knocked down, however as of this year both the Football and the Rugby teams will move back to their new home and the rule will be back in place
