This is inspiring, I tried to make a zombie film over a year ago but couldn't get a cast and crew loyal enough for such a huge job, it's nice to see what can be created when everyone contributes. No complaints about this video, it's great all around. Five stars :D

I'm a huge zombie fan, and I think you did a great job with such a low budget and no competition. You still poured your hearts into this and made it work. Usually I don't post short films online anymore as I like to do the film festival circuit thing now. My short "Escape from Death Planet" did that and I had another one that was an animation called "Superior Firepower" -- I do still post stuff online though. I watched both parts and think the overall direction was good, the flow was ok but the roles of the 2 girls should have been reversed, just because I believe "Shawna" was not as experienced, especially in some shots like when she just saw her dad dying, It felt waay too scripted. Awesome job though all of you were awesome!!

Nope, all the locations we filmed at we just kind of went to without asking anybody for permission.

THAT said, most of the locations we filmed at were on the University of Alberta campus, and we did get questioned by campus security a few times when they heard "screaming" -- but when they it was a movie they left us alone.

We also had the police called on us during the roman candle sequence because it sounded like gunshots to somebody. That was on city property too.

that movie was really fantastic. lightyears beyond any other amateur zombie film i've found on youtube. there were some parts that made me laugh that probably weren't meant to be funny, but it helped to add a sense of levity to the film that i think really made it that much more enjoyable.

you really ought to make a sequal. or at least a second one in this universe. maybe years afterwards? also: the way canadians say 'bag' always gets me. "BAIG"

I'm sure I'll revisit the zombie genre at some point - but right now what I'm doing is concentrating on sending the things I make off to indie film festivals first, then after that's all said and done - probably putting them up on youtube. "Escape from Death Planet" would be an example. of something I aim to put on youtube eventually - once it's done it's festival run. Probably Octoberish.

Well, I'm really impressed by this. There are few things I would've done differently, personally, but that's just me. Overall, though, this video is quality stuff. I've seen a good handful of fairly well done short zombie films on YouTube, but this is the best one I've seen to date. So, yes, I applaud you.

This half of the film is probably the better of the 2 part film in my opinion.
