Come diceva Toscanini: alle corte..." Netrebko ha i suoi estimatori, ci mancherebbe, ma ognuno si contenta di quel che gli basta... a me un soprano così lascia parecchi interrogativi.

Del resto sono certa che potrà cantare finché avrà fiato ma se non sistema la sua pencolante tecnica, passata la fama da tabloid di lei soprano resterà ben poca storia

anna netrebko is a full lyric soprano which is typically the most common type of soprano and diana damarau is a coloratura soprano and she has a much lighter and higher range than anna so it's like comparing apples and oranges honestly

To be honest, I don't think you can really compare Netrebko and Damrau, as their voices are completely different. The roles suite to these voices are different types and will showcase the singers differently. I think both are incredibly talented women, and I would kill to have the talent of either of them.

@lamusicahera I can´t understanding why it´s so important for a fan that there are no gods next to the own ones. Of course Mosers and Deutecoms interpretations were unique, but Damraus ones were also great in another way. And i´m so sorry- i´m not a special Damrau fan-but she isn´t a soubrette. This classification is nearby embarrassing, with all respect, i don´t want to be rude, really not. Try to enjoy other singers also, listening and praying all the time to the same ones .. why? Regards :)

She returned back to me the Joy of Music(& even the Joy of Life)since I discover Her 2 yrs ago.I ve seen all great sopranos from our times(XXI century,not from past one).There're some of them very good:but no single one can reach the supreme level of technique,power,vibration,proy­ection,coloratura,sensibility,­etc of Diana's Miraculous Art.

She's the God's Voice over the Earth, singing to an amazed world.
