The first film is brillant and sets up many things for the following films. The dilema with Sarah deciding on whether or not to tell her son about his father. There is such a thing as flashbacks and memories. Would you really keep an old cassett player around and listen to that for inspiration, would the damn thing even work. Really stupid. In the first film The terminator is trying to track down Sarah and ends up at her mothers log cabin in the woods, he obviously kills the mother.
Don't get me wrong i love the sequel and the third one is watchable... lets not mention that 'other one'. But the first one just has such style in its slow paced action and tense build ups instead of crazy car chases every other second. It takes it's time and set's the tone, im only 17 and the first one is so prescious to me it's from a great time in the film industry.

If i watch the movie, and not long after listen to this theme, I just get this incredible feeling. It feels so cool. It's like there will be a terminator. The cold war was never oafishly recognised or admitted to by any nation, government or armed forces. It was a none war without battles or victories.
