  • God is not imaginary, he works in people's lives everyday. If you live by a motto that shit happens...but you just gotta deal with it...then that's a sad life. God shows grace, even to gay people. I'm living from grace. I struggle with it, but I know He loves me, To know Christ, to be honest with your sin, but to use that same crazing for men and turning it towards God is the best thing I can give back to him. Renouncing my disposition TO GLORIFY Christ cause he loved me first by dyin for me.

  • Thanks for telling your story Gabriel. It's important for people growing up in organization religion to know that you can be gay and be spiritual. God made you as you are!

  • My parents were religious to a point and I would attend church every Sunday. I went back in the closet but after saying: I want to be true to myself, I said: Screw it, I'm going to be happy with myself. After finding other gay people who echoed my experience, and those who don't--I was able to be secure in myself and who I am. Thanks for sharing your story Gabe!

  • I think "gay" is looked upon not as a sexual dysfunction but more as a "powerless" status. If one is gay and yet exude or can exercise tremendous power over people, then it (being gay) will be accepted. People respond to power. God is seen mostly in terms of Power. It is all about Power.

  • Gay Christian is an oxymoron. You feel you have a "flaw". What a shame?! I left my Christian fundamentalism behind me years ago and it's the most liberating thing I ever did. Christianity does NOT hold a copyright on peace, love, grace, kindness, faith or God. In fact, you can partake in all those without Christianity. Billions of people worldwide already do. Dump religion. It's brainwashing, mind control poison.

    Ciao Bello

Nathan Grazie "Il Mio Ragazzo Dolce" ! (My Sweet Boy) , for uploading this one! As you might imagine, it is both edifying and important to your friend Bobby Griffiths' (Prayers for Bobby) old lover/boyfriend "Blaine" here, who too ended up a "Follower of Christ!

Con L'Amore e Molti Baci! (Lots A Love n' Kisses Sweetie Boy)

  • Great story! I'm from the same background ... identical story. Good to hear someone else who's making it through all this.

  • Gabriel, if you're going to be involved in a church, I sure hope you found one that doesn't keep telling you that you are flawed for being gay. You deserve better than to be told that. We all do.

    Ciao Bello!

Hey Rick "Amico Mio" Bravo Buddy!!! I Love you for this!!!

  • This kind of stuff is way easier if your an atheist

  • God doesn't accept you, he doesn't have to. God made you, he made you gay.

  • It's shameful for any gay man to belong in that religion considering just how much a poison that religion has been not only to sexual minorities, but humanity as a whole. So shame on you sir - your sugar daddy in the sky isn't real.

  • "God" is imaginary.

  • "I do all the stuff I should, the only flaw would be that I'm gay." I don't believe in God myself, but if you do believe, you have to believe he created you the way you are for a reason. The proof that homosexuality is godly is that it is a way of expressing love. Being a loving person is the truest way of being godly. When you love someone, you help make them a better human being and yourself one, too. Sharing love makes the world better, like a wonderful wildfire that catches and spreads.

  • This address is on my Home page. It would not let me put the link here.

There is wonderful information from the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas. Please go listen to his videos and sermons on Christianity and Homosexuality. They really helped open my eyes.

  • Amen.

  • Thanks, Gabriel. It is hard. I'm from the Bible Belt too and it is hard to hear all the time that you are not loved and are wrong. It's like being gay is the worst of the worst. That takes a toll. But your story was inspiring.

  • God excepts u for who u are. Juat do good in life !! Bless

  • Gabriel. Good for you. I grew up in a strong church background and stayed 'in' until I was 37. Believe that God loves you for who you are - authentic! That's what is required - to not bear false witness. Remember that your name is for an Angel - as you are!
