Allah not love bad hijab ... Allah love good hijab my cher sister

  • you hav done marvelous job than anyother................. n liked it very much but can you pls advice wot can i do as am living in very hot weather country...how'd i wear two scarf together? but i really like lose scarf not very tight around my head n neck......awaiting

  • @mandykidman

Hijab doesn't simply mean to cover the head it also means to cover the chest area and that includes the neck area fully, Try to find lighter garments that are perhaps brighter so it doesn't absorb so much heat go to this link about summer hijabs.... amenakin+summer+hijab&aq=1

Hope that clarifies it a little. : )

  • Please make more videos on the different styles of wearing hijabs :)

  • i like the way

but it takes too much time

  • love u dirl thank u

  • GREAT thanks

  • I love this one! I'm looking for one to wear tomorrow - but it's to physical therapy so I don't think it would work out as far as staying on! :-D But I want to try this one next insha'allah. I also love your tutorials and have learned a lot from them. They are practical and not too much - like some that are only for parties and all. Jazak'Allah Khair! Where did you get that gorgeous grey scarf? I love it! Do you ever carry them?

  • i can now double layer.... poorly :P

  • this is the hardest way to wear hijab

  • how much lucky you people are! Be always Grateful to Allah for your Faith and Connection with Him.Sinners like me deserve never His Connection and Strong Faith, like you people are blessed with.

    Stay Blessed always.

  • it looks pretty on you not on me :(

i love your videos and i cant wait for more!

    xoxo -saudi arabia

  • @Gabby4you Sister that happens to me a lot, too. Amena has a beautifully shaped face, exceptionally so. We all have different shapes, so different styles look good on some of us, but others don't. For instance, I can't wear my scarves as far up on my forehead - it just doesn't suit me. It's even better if I can do a sort of peak, but I haven't figured out how yet. As far as the rest.. I find that practice helps a lot. I just take an hour to practice a couple of styles until I get it.

  • Very nice:) I'm not muslim but I find hijab very beautiful :)

  • Thank you for your videos I have always wanted to learn how to wear my scarfs like this.

  • totaly agree with you what you said at end about getting Clastro fobic wearing scarf around the neck...i feel the same. but this is quite time consuming, lol i might need an hour to do it. :P

  • nice one but i think its too much to hold all this over my head for all day!!thanks anyway

  • The double layer <3

  • My religion does not require me to cover my head, at least not so fully - nor as a single woman am I required to cover my head at all...but I have to say that you are simply beautiful, and your' Hijaab looks fantastic! Keep posting - I love learning about your' beautiful tradition. (I use to cover my head despite being unmarried. I really do love how it looks-and it's so modest too.)

  • i lve these kind of hijabs. infact i have accesories but dont know techniques:(

  • I like this one! It's very pretty!

  • First of all thanks for the tutorial...very very nice and yes..Tight is not always right... ; ) What is it u say @ 5:28 - 5:29?

  • First of all thanks for the tutorial...very very nice and yes..Tight is not always right... ; ) What is it u say @ 5:28 - 5:29?

  • nice style but the grey scarf is a little bulky though and it would be prettier if you had used red for the outer layer,

how do i comment on the red chatbox..?

i like the col combination of your outfit (red + grey)

  • I am a Christian but I love head scarves and I love the way the Islamic women wear them. I wish it was part of Christian rules and regulation because I hate messing with my hair which is long almost to my waist. I also love Islamic people but I also love Christ and Christ is for everyone not just Christians.

  • @adonaimaranatha

peace be upon u. Jesus (pbuh) is once of our most loved prophets. He will be resurrected at the end of time. We Muslims believe in him as well, except he is not a son of God. In the original Bible, Jesus (pbuh) foretold the coming of the final messenger Mohammed (pbuh), May God grant you the true faith.

  • @adonaimaranatha

And headcovering is for everyone, not just Muslims.^__^

Check out ndkelly1's channel. Her name is Nichole. Shes a formerly headcovering Christian lady who has some videos on the topic. Shes also very knowledgeable about Islam as well and has several Muslim friends, like me. Muslims love Jesus and she can tell you all about that too. ^_^

  • i love it.. i will try it at my next party... you look sooo pretty... mashallah!!!!!!!!

  • more scarf tutorials please, thanks for this video it was reallly helpful :D

  • plz make more scarf tutorials i love em!! :)

  • awesome...............

  • I am a new convert to islam and i have a question that has been bothering me, my hair is really thick and really long, it is a little past belly button length and is very thick. I am black and egyptian if you can kind of get a gist of how thick my hair is but my question is what do you do with your hair prio to putting on hijab to make it look flat and not so bulky? like i see some womens hijab looks smooth and roound, how do they do it with their hair if it is very long and thick?

  • i think i'll use this style inshaAllah for my wedding? if i get married inshaAllah! <3

  • superrr..

  • sister i love your videos.. god bless you.. :) i love all of your different styles.. • Amazingg But Hard 4 me 2 doo bczz lykk ya no im 12 :L

  • Thank goodness for your tutorials! Before I found you I only knew one, boring style, now I have some variety! =) I will have to grow my hair out, it seems, as most of your lovely techinques involve wrapping the scarf around your ponytail. I have been able to adapt them to my short hair with only slight changes though. Thank you again and keep up the good work! Salaam!

  • tq Amenakin..for sharing your beautiful and stylish hijab wearing.. I'v learnt a lot from your videos. Keep them coming ! I really enjoy every bit ..

  • I'm from Pakistan and i've been recommending your video to all my friends who've been trying to figure out different trendy ways of wearing the Hijab. Its a great style and you make it easy to understand.

    =)

  • salam, can u please tll me how to put a simple scarf on i dont actally wear a hijaab i jus wear it without hijaab so CAN u plss tll me how 2 put a nicely raped scarf

thanks and also you have a great video

  • You're pretty and the scarf was awesome. I'd love to see more of your video. If you dont mind, can you please show one style of the simplest and fastest way to wear the scarf. You know sometimes we tend to have short of time to wear those kind of pretty ones. Thanks!

  • this is really interesting, and very helpful, can you make a video on how to make the size of the hijab at the back really big, I've seen Arab women in Knightsbridge with really big hijabs. Also I've seen hijabs with a raised lip at the front which adds a really interesting shape to the head. Please advise as my hair is really short therefore I can't get a nice shape at the back of my head for my scarf to rest on. Many Thanks. Keep up the good work.

  • Primark rules!!!!!

I love the wider wide scarves! Hate the narrow ones though; they just look skimpy when worn.

    Thats looked really nice!

  • i like it, but it takes more time than those other ones u filmed

    but thank youuu greaat job

  • i like it, but it takes more time than those other ones u filmed

    but thank youuu greaat job

  • I am not really religious, but the hijab is my current personal research topic because I wanted to understand what it was all about. I am discovering almost a whole new "fashion world" connected to wearing one, and they can look so beautiful! Your personality is very sweet, so thanks for posting and adding another piece to my "education." :]

  • I didn't like it. I love it!

  • Salam, I like it very very much! Thank You oukhti ! Masha Allah you're so beautifull :-)

    A sister from Belgium.

  • just started wearing the scarf a few months back and wow ur videos really helped me :) keep them coming xx

  • thank uuuuuuuuuuuuu so muchhhhhh..... i always want to be in style with hijab,,, you really make me style,,,

  • thanks so much for your tutorials. i have been going to jumeah with friends for a while and have been reading into islam. the hijab styles are very nice and i feel more fashionable with the tutorials that you show. i used this one with a salwar kameez outfit i have that has a sheer dupatta. the dupatta added extra length for covering the neck and the back of my neck... that's for the sister asking about neck coverage, i would suggest using a longer scarf :) thanks again!

  • AOA sister i was browing thru ur account and was luking for ur tutorial on how to wear a hijab for special occasions, i cant seem to find it. i have a wedding coming up and would like to wear my hijab but want to show my earrings how should i wear it? AH

  • @04206787

    Wa Alaikum Assalam Sister,

Perhaps Amenakin has answered you already. :) Some times what I do is to wear a more sheer scarf over a lacy headband. I put the bonnet (bones) on first, leaving my earlobes uncovered, then the lacy headband, covering my ears.

When I drape the hijab, I use Amenakin's school and graduation scarf drape for a sheer scarf, and then put the earrings THROUGH the scarf and the lacy headband. This works for dangly big earrings for a party quite well. :)

  • this is very cute i love it but is there a way to cover the neck completely??

  • i like ur tutorial and i am new subscriber i just find ur videos before weak ago and i think u r all tutorial is great and i want to ask u can u have some style for black cos i am staying in sudi and u know here we must wear black abaya and i think u know usually black abaya goes with black scarf only but i find it very boring and i want to do some nice style plz show me if u can

    bless u

  • Awesome tutorial. Thanks so much!

  • loved it!!

but could u plz just tlk a lil less......i mean i jhad to forward most of it till u got into action....

    but THANX tht was BEAUTIFUL!

  • Salaam! I've only just been wearing a hijab for a few days and was starting to think omg i feel strangled before I came across your videos, the tutorials are amazing and attention to detail is great. You seem to be very creative and best off all ur "loose hijab" styles are great for someone like me with a very round face and a tight hijab only emphasises that. Great work, keep it up :)

  • Great sis,,,,what can i say ;)

Grey-red connection is perfect for me, im trying to find such a grey scarf which u got

  • Your tutorials are fantastic!! Ive watched so many different ones on youtube and none of them really appealed to me. Ive been wearing a headscarf for 4years now and I have always worn it the same way as I didnt know any other way. But now Ive found your videos Ive been trying out all the different styles :) and its so much more comfortable (before I used to wear a tight headscarf) Im LOVING the loose style.

ANYWAY thank you so much :) take care xxx

p.s please keep the tutorials coming!!

  • I'm glad they help!

  • @12345pinkypoo12345 I couldn't agree more. :)

  • the girl is so beautifull

  • Nice vid sis

  • i want to thank you for your great videos pleaseeeeee keep it up u inspire me sister :)

  • What is the grey head thing you wore underneath the hijaab?

  • Please see the 'pink waterfall' video - at the beginning, I show what the 'head thing' looks like (it's called a bonnet/ underscarf)

  • i loved this style and u look really pretty

  • love it!

  • Asalaamucaleykum sis, I LOOOVE this tutorial, it's bloody well awesome & alxamdulilah that I've come across this video, I've been wanting to do something creative with my Hijab for a long while, but haven't been good @ finding anything!

Oh and ignore those ignorant people who keep making silly comments, at the end of the day, the more us women put effort into our hijabs the less people will be so quick to think that we're "oppressed" by wearing them simply by judging by its appearance!

  • Wa 'alaikum as-salaam

Well put! Glad you enjoyed it

  • I've seen alot of these head scarf tutorials and I think yours is one of the best, so far. You're a good teacher. :)

  • Thank you!

  • Salaam Sister

I saw your video at a dutch blog, and started to watch them all, you got a great style Masha allah. I want to start wearing hijab but i really like dressing up and fashion and i thought that i have to leave that, because of my silly view of the hijab. I thought you must wear black/grey and boring clothes. But after i watched your videos i am really excited to start wearing my hijab with pride. Thank you very much.

  • you're welcome :o) by no means do you have to change your love of colour. Let me know how you get on with it... i'A you will see many blessings in it

  • love this video... u have an awesome personality :) I think its going to be a while before I try this style (I'm style challenged) LOL but I hope to try it one day (I hope u dont mind that I am not Muslim but I do think the Hajib is beautiful)

  • thank you, that's kind of you to say.

Oh of course I don't mind you're not Muslim :o) yes it is beautiful when accompanied by a beautiful interior. May I ask why u wear it? I mean i know that the headcovering itself pre-dates Islam, so is you reason faith-related at all?

  • Salaams, sis... I am loving your vids... we are pros at the "Haram Police" on youtube... some people get so upset about the fact that we have style and care about our looks. Welcome to our crazy world! Your hijab styles are very inventive and gorgeous! Keep 'em coming!

  • Wa 'alaikum as-salaam. Thank you, glad you like them.

Heh... yeh, I figured I'd get the "haram police" *cough* Wahhabi-types *cough* on my back at some point ;o)

  • Assalalualaykum Sister, Beautiful! (I'm Assuming you are Muslim.) I'm also finding it a bit funny, if you are muslim. After the first few seconds of watching (my hijab would have been on, pinned, and I'd have left the house already) it became frighteningly apparent to me that there is so little time in the dunya for all this fussing. There are three things we will be asked about on the day of judgment: What did we do with our health, our wealth, and our TIME. Forgive me. Not judging: reminding.

  • Wa alaikum as salaam. Actually, Islam is a religion of moderation. We shouldn't be either mindlessly risky or cowardly, we should be brave; we shouldn't be stingy or indulgent, we should be generous; I could go on. There is nothing wrong with being a 'deen' and 'dunya' person (perhaps with the balance shifted towards the 'deen' in an ideal situation); in fact, there are many examples of the pious participating in 'worldly' things. We're not extremists who cast out all forms of pleasure and art.

  • Why bother beautifying ourselves? Why bother ever being entertained by something (e.g. television)? Why bother spending time making a nice meal? The latter 3 questions are ridiculous, and even against some of the examples set for us by the pious. Going by your mentality, artform wouldn't even exist, nor would entertainment. Hmm.

And by the way, you WERE judging - I have enough reminders in my day, please don't patronise me :)

  • Alhamdulilah great rebuttal Amena 'Inviteyoutojudge' has made one of most patronising, holier than thou comments i've ever read with a clever disclaimer and an 'i assume you are Muslim' !!! quite a feat really!!
