Okay. i went into Film effects and in the drop down menu selected flicker, and closed the effect window, but then when I went back it was still on dust and it does not change, any ideas whats happening?
To do a flicker, all you have to do is add a keyframe on where you want the flicker to be and turn up the brightness on that keyframe. Once you do that just add another keyframe next to the keyframe you edited and make it the video's normal brightness. Your way of doing it seems very unnecessary.
hey, how do you add effect to multilayers, i merge 2 pictures together and i want to add the page turn effect on both of them, but when i do that, only one layer turns. i want it to look like the the two pictures turn together like when you turn a page on a real book. thank you
@Mastersun88 yeah i'm talking about the page turn/peel transition, but i don't mean opposite site, i have one picture of a blank sheet of paper and a picture of me, the blank sheet appears first, then the picture of me appears on top of the blank sheet, i want to add the turning effect in way that the blank sheet and the picture of me will turn together (like when both of them are one picture), like when you flip a page of a real book. sr if it is hard to understand ^^

@vJacksonX yes dude it does if you have not noticed I am using windows 7 as a virtual version on my mac if you have not noticed it is hard to tell a bit I costomized my mac to still look like my mac so you can't really tell but it is windows 7. make sure you have at least 2GB or better for it to work ok.
Thanks! But what's wrong about this tutorial is you keep on rubbing it in that you are not a Sony Vegas user anymore and that Final Cut Pro is better. Not all are Mac or Final Cut Pro users. You discourage viewers who are accustomed to Windows and Sony Vegas particularly, earning money out of Vegas or not. Do not be bias and you will have more fans. Be labeled as a know-it-all for people seeking help. People, not the brand you are promoting and basically who doesn't pay you. Still, good job!
@nowwwatch sorry I just don't really like sony vegas anymore but don't get too upset I am still nice enough to use sony vegas just to do tutorials in it for you guys. I am trying to make it as easy as possible even though I hate it compared to final cut.
