  • you guys are gonna think I'm so anal retentive, but, the correct pronounciation is "Brheed", soft "e". Silent "G".

  • It depends on where in Ireland the person is from for the pronunciation. Some say "Bride", some say "Bree", some say "Brij-id", and some say "Brig-id". The dialect in Ireland is so vastly different from one county to the other that there are rarely any set-in-stone pronunciations of deities.

  • lol here in holland every city and vilage has its own dialect, there are like a hundred diferent ones and even we have another indiginous language besides dutch, it would be no diference in ireland were they pronounce Brighid in diferent ways, btw very nice vid, my compliments :)

  • Beautiful vid! Love the song! This is going in my favorites! :D

  • Thank you, I'm glad you like it! :)

  • beautiful. what you got planned for imbolc

  • I'm having some Pagan friends over, doing a Druidic-style Imbolc ritual, and then FEAST (my favourite part). I'll talk all about it tomorrow. :)

  • cool sounds great

  • Excellent video, thanks!

  • Thank you! I'm feeling Imbolgy today. Tomorrow I'll make a vid all about Imbolg. :)

  • Looking forward to it ;)

  • Awesome, I can't wait to see it!
