it's not clear he considered the obvious [achem's razor] into his own analysis which would be done by modeling the steel being CUT at those points [rather than the violent snap it does in his simulation] by demolition-stuff.

it's not clear that his simulation was verified by eyewitness testimony or physical materials, e.g., the buckling of the floors would have been noticeable, did anyone?

No silly, the fireproofing, Asbestos, did not necessarily have to be there, that you're right about. but the events of the day do not include steel being raised to temperatures that weakened the building sufficiently at that point of impact to allow the top to break right off. wait, the whole building fell. hmm. so the bottom strong part was iradicated. but how ? hmm... lets ask questions.. oh i'm not allowed to, off to Guantanamo bay even though I'm a citizen the law allows the pres to do it!

Heat of burning fuel was never calculated in the testing of the towers when built. Sure the building could withstand a direct hit. But its aftermath wasn't. And with toer 2 falling 1st made the most sense, since it was hit many floors lower than the 1st tower. Several floors were knocked out from the direct hit. So much more stress placed on all floors above and below the impact. Morons dont equate this as its to simplistic.

@troglodyt33 & spoonog, probably you don't understand the model they're working with. What you see in the model is only the floors of ONE SECTION OF THE BUILDING and not the whole building. The left part of the floors is connected to the facade and the right one to the core. The model was made to see how the floorplates stressed the facade not how the building exactly collapsed. So please, next time watch it more carefully before you start shouting

How come his computer models dont display the CORE of the towers.Besides the floors below the fires were not over heated and therefore were not under the same stresses and would have behaved in a differet way sorry guy whoever you are you got it wrong.Try putting in a core next time oh and by the way did you do a simulation for how much time it would take for your model of the building to hit terra firma.

They tested the WTC firewall by shooting five shotgun shells into a steel beam with fireproofing, what a great scientific result from the 9/11 commission. Just research in the history of man how many modern concrete & steel framed buildings have actually totally collapsed like WTC1, 2 & WTC7 (Building 7). And Computer models can be adjusted to "fit" the required result.
