I haven't seen the movie, but did purchase the soundtrack. With one hearing this version of "Hello, It's Me" from the soundtrack and this was an instant favorite. For me, Giamatti gave a perfect performance of the song.

"Duets" is a very good movie with good music and good drama. Paul Giamatti became one of my favorite actors after seeing the movie. He showed great dramatic range as well a dynamite singing style. I also found out that Gwyneth Paltrow is a knockout singer.

I had to talk a friend of mine into watching this movie...........because I could not convince him that it wasnt cheesy....he was flabbergasted at how good it is
