Great video...I just got my rest the other day, love it! One question though, is it ok to mount it so the rest does not hit the riser without damaging the rest? There was nothing in the instructions to state on how to properly mount it. This is my first drop away. I have been using the Octane Hostage until now.

i like the Octane but i think when i get a drop away i will get a QAD or a Ripcord because of the retainer bar.

Hi, i was just wondering which arrow rest would be better: the octane trip wire or the 2010 ripcord arrow rest? Cheers Scott.

@zippyz1970 I use the Ripcord and love it but the tripwire is a solid reliable rest. I chose the ripcord because of the containment bar.
