It is possible if you buy a small USB audio adaptor.

You can get flash drive sized ones, then run a 3.5mm stereo cable from the Kaossilator headphone socket to the 3.5mm input of the USB audio adaptor.

there isn't a cable that comes with the kaossilator to plug it into the pc, but you can connect the kaoss to the pc microphone port and then use other software to convert the microphone audio data to MIDI controls or MIDI notes

My laptop isnt recognizing my kaossilator :( I hooked its line out to a cable which hooked into my laptop's mic port but my laptop cant seem to find it O_o

Find it? There is no plug and play on a mini jack you idiot. Record some beats on your kaossilator and then you will see it works as a line in. This isnt a usb device. The fact it doesn't connect to your usb port should really have tipped you off...

My laptop finally recognized it as an external mic and the problem is solved. Im well aware there isnt a USB connection and Im not an idot thank you. The only issue now is the recorded audio is extremely choppy and despite my efforts with changing settings, the problem remains unsolved.

Computer mic jacks tend to be shitty as hell when it comes to instruments. There's a certain cable that's normally intended for guitar/bass called stealthplug, which is an instrument cable on one end and a USB on the other, that records audio directly into the computer with great quality, but it's about $100

it looks like a pitch-to-midi conversion to me... the pitch is being converted to a CC number (probably cutoff frequency)
