  • i have learnet of a big bit of news google star trek xii there is a article on trek web.com hinting at a redesign of the enterprise for the next film spread the word

  • @luigi19987 link?

  • found the link.. i think they are referring to the engineering set..

  • i have learnet of a big bit of news google star trek xii there is a article on trek web.com hinting at a redesign of the enterprise for the next film

  • Dude, this is AWESOME! What music did you use from Enterprise to back it?

  • this has got to be the crappiest ship design ever

  • Your Enterprise definitely looks more like the original from TOS than the 2009 Enterprise.

  • Your version is less horrible than the film version. If you're looking for suggestions, then I'd make the following:

    Firstly, shrink the primary hull.

Secondly, move the nacelle pylons forward (midway on the secondary hull) and elongate them so that the nacelles are unobstructed by the primary hull.

Thirdly, remove the "hoods" from the nacelles and reduce the size of the Bussard collectors' apertures (the red domes) accordingly.

  • Sorry, don't like it. Moving the neck forward like that made the ship look off balance, and the nacelles don't look right.

  • Better, way better. Good job.

  • This Enterprise looks like a pile of shit put into a centrifuge mixed with concrete and instant potateo mix, (much like the movie it belongs to).

Simon Pegg as Scotty was worse than prostate cancer.

The plot had a level of integrity I would expect a 5year old would have written

Anyone who enjoyed any aspect of this new movie has no soul

  • @SuperJadziaDax Finally. A Prostate Cancer allegory that's funny (because it's true)! :3

  • its not a constilation class well it is but its a battleship. designed for warfare not exploration....... and the naccels are bigger cus the ship is bludy huge ... oh and one more thing leave the design the way it is its fraking cool :)

  • It's amazing how just a few small tweaks can greatly improve on the new Enterprise design.

Personally, though, I just wish Paramount & Abrams had gone with the same design from the TOS films. The Constitution-class refit is simply the best-looking spaceship in the history of sci fi, followed closely by the Klingon BOP.

  • i recently got n operators manual for each of the enterprise ships but it was published before this movie came out. is it true that the enterprise in this movie is twice as big as it was in ToS, and even bigger than the Enteprise D?

  • @ninjamastercat yup. its supposed to be around 800m long, but the nacelles must be half of that lol

  • Pimped out. Common everywhere. The nacelles look like chicken drumsticks with LED lights. Get a decent motor under the hood and ditch the boy racer seats while you're at it.

The good points? Well they tried at least. The bubblegum inserts front and rear look tasty.

  • I like it. I'm usually a stickler for the classics but I'm on-board with this design. Why? Much more powerful. I always thought the old Klingon battle cruiser put the Enterprise to shame . This one is much more menacing.

  • no matter what people say the new Enterprise rocks, But I can only agree it will never be the Old One.. thats just how it is. Shes got a place in all trekkies hearts. but its a new universe. So give the bird a chance, Remember this is the First one, like note above, how will the refit look like.. I guess we will have to see, i think there is alot of good material to improve on here. personally the video improvements you did, I dont like. The ship is as it should be.

  • Tweaking the ship is not necessary to make any new episodes or movies enjoyable. They need a *%$#!!*& script with Roddenberry style characterization and concepts. The only thing worse than the JJ Abrams version is the Joss Whedon version in which Buffy the Vampire Slayer storyline was adopted. Get real, get some of the old writers from TNG and rescue the concept.

  • I hate that ship!!!!!!!!!!

    It's soooo ugly

  • I really like your design mods a lot better than the design used in the 2009 movie. She lost her proportions in the movie!. I could go either way on the deflector however, glowing or not.

    -D

  • You have taken something hideous and made it only ugly. Very well done!

  • For a model it looks nice, looks fast, but as a space vehicle it sucks. All those nice aerodynamic curvy lines, what are they there for except to look like a jet plane. They could have made it look modern but kept it from looking like a 2 bit hooker or runway model. I don't much care for it.

  • I think its better with your modifications. They really scrued up the classic constitution class Enterprise.

  • I think its better with your modifications. They really srued up the classic constitution class Enterprise.

  • They left the old Model out in the sun too long.

  • The neck being moved forward doesn't work at all. The reduced mass of the nacelles for some reason also doesn't work. The colouring scheme just doesn't feel right. It doesn't feel like a space vehicle anymore.

  • I think the point was to modernize it, give it a sleek, sexy feel... not re-introduce the old ship from TOS... still, nicely done.

  • @bloodwolfgurl to be honest the design of the warp-engines remind me of an old cadillac. pretty classy^^

  • Me like those "modifications"

  • this sucks!

  • Good attempt on your part for the corrective surgery...not as ugly. The Doomsday Machine just might eat it...this time :)

  • @fmscribs - you're right in every respect. The Enterprise has always been beautiful (never more so than ST-TMP version), but her latest incarnation just doesn't cut it.

  • Do you know what's wrong with the new Enterprise? I'll tell you.

When they redesigned her for "The Motion Picture" she was like a beautiful woman in a slender black dinner dress. Very sexy, elegant, great lines & just perfect.

This ship is like looking at one of those overly ripped weight lifting chicks. Sure she might be a woman on the inside but you say to yourself, "man, that could be a guy" or "That's a little too much steroid usage."

Either way....she ain't beautiful anymore. RIP

  • Not bad...nice video...I am old school and the best design was the Enterprise from Star Trek:TMP.....but excellent job on the mods of your ship

  • This new Enterprise and her new Young Captain will Blow the Evil Borg out of the Sky.

  • i like the neck movement and the powering up of the nacells, but the color change isnt too good. i mean, that grey is the color of the enterprise in the movies, and even in the tv show is not THAT red. and when you reduce the engines i think it would be better if you kept them looking sleek.

  • Great vid and great mods. The only thing that I would change would be to move the Jefferies tubes a little closer to the neck. If you look at TOS Star Trek you'll see what I'm talking about. Other than that, it looks great!

  • @katanaburner what are you talking about? Jefferies tubes are tiny access tunnels throughout the ship.

  • @xandercom Huh. I always thought the support beams for the warp nacelles had the Jefferies tubes in them. That's what I was referring to.

  • @xandercom Maybe he meant the Nacells?

  • @xandercom He means the engine nacelles.

  • Your mod is 100% better than the USS Abrams' silly looking thing

  • Really like what you have done. However, I think the larger engines fit with your,,,uh,,refit. jmo

  • i am afraid no lipstick can hide that pig!

  • The new Hot Rod Enterprise is practically kick-ass in every way from the font of the call-signs to the warp drive effects.

  • the modification is much better then the original from the movie!

  • the new desigin is brill but sorry you mods have ruined it

  • The ugliest fail in the history of star trek!

  • hmm i like just the ship how it is butwhere the hell do u get this music from

  • Excellent work with the mods - THAT looks like the Enterprise, while J J Abrams's version is just a fucking insult, like just about everything else to do with the film.

  • your version was way better then the films nice one man

  • I think this is a really good looking enterprise, but nothing compared to the Enterprise- D

  • nah da enterprise-e is better

  • Much better the neck really kicked my eyes out.

  • The new version of the Enterprise took some getting used to. It's ugly while standing still, but it looks amazing in motion.

  • You're pretty good at photoshop man.

  • I like it. The secondary hull needs a little beefing up, too, I'd say.

  • i like your version the most

  • The Engines are too close together. the neck needs to be placed more Forward. the Antenna needs to be made slightkly smaller. the engine hull needs to be a little longer.

As Long as she is tall and proud..

  • I like yours better. Oh, and I liked that soft version of the "Enterprise" theme ;)

  • Sorry for the typo, I meant "I could be persuaded that your vision is more real than real".

  • I remember being 8 years old and seeing the Enterprise for the first time on a Screening of "The Menagerie". I thought, what a fantastic ship, is it for real? Now, after seeing your photoshop version, I could persuaded that your vision of the Enterprise is more real than real. Excellent work, Kudo's!!! And May Star Trek Live Forever!!!

  • Not to get into it over Kirk's role as Captain, but your version of the ship is much better than Abram's. It look a little more like the old girl. As far as Kirk goes, they should have just tranfered him to the Farragut with an active commission as Lieutenant. It would have been more in compliance with Star Trek Cannon.

  • They ruined the engine room...

  • I think the solution to this issue is that the enterprise was really just a model in some tv show from the late 1960's...

  • Still don't care for it. I will always regards the Smithsonian 11' model as the old girl, not Abram's "Empire Strikes Back" attempt.

  • actually Kirk took c ommand in 2265

and the Enterprise was launched in 2258 in the alternate realtiy

  • In the Original Series, James Kirk takes command of the Enterprise in 2264. That Enterprise was launched in 2245. That Enterprise may have had a first refit *before* Kirk took command...the ship would have been 19 years old by then.

This is an alternate universe Enterprise (launched in 2254), it may get a refit eventually... to make it look more like the Enterprise from before.

  • This Enterprise is alot more stylish and slender than the refitted Enterprise, it looks more advanced than the refit one.

  • your mods make it better, but it's like tying a silk bow around a dog turd; when you're done, it's still a dog turd.....

  • I like the new design. Your version, not so much.

  • well one possible sollution to the continuing debate is that the designer of the original constitution class was aboard the kelvin and died during the attack of the narada and someone else came in and designed this new ship.

and they are using higher tech than they did in the tos era(scans of the narada>>>reverse engineering)

  • I'll agree to that...cause what we see in the movie is NOT the Constitution class we all know and love!

  • Why i think this Enterprise looks the way it does is that when Star Trek was first created the creators wanted to have really sleek and advanced looking ships but due to budget constraints they had to make do with more basic designs, in my book " THE ART OF STAR TREK " it tells you about how they really wanted more sleek designs but couldn't, and i think this Enterprise is more like what they wanted and now they have their wish because this Enterprise is incredible!!!!

  • THIS is sleek? I'm sorry, what it looks like is 'over inflated' and 'clunky'

the engines look like the breasts Kirk tried to grope - the nacelle supports look like someone with a HUGE ass sat on them and the front of the ship looks like someone took a mallet and swung at it as hard as they could - the only thing that LOOKS like the original design is the saucer... and it just looks like its been GLUED to the lower section of the ship

  • Nothing will ever beat the STTMP refitted Enterprise. That's the Enterprise to end all Enterprises.

  • @DeafFret

Agree 100%....nothing more evocative than Scotty taking Kirk on an inspection tour; the Enterprise leaving the shipyard; and going to warp as the film ends.

  • I don't care, but I haven't seen the movie yet... I thought it would be better to keep it kinda campy like the old Star Trek. I see, even without your mods that personally she is unattractive.

  • another thought.

    Blue bussards?

And where's the rotating light effect we all racked our brains for 30 years to replicate on our models?

Hear that thumpn' sound? That's Gene, spinnin' in his grave!

  • I can live with it.

But in the unlikely event of a next movie, I hope they keep Abrams

far, FAR from it. ALL the interior ship sets sucked and could have been filmed in a mall food court and abandoned power plant for all I know.

  • The ship sucks. Your mods make it better, but does it really matter?

  • I like your modifications. The ship looks much sleeker and agile by moving the neck foward and chaning the size and shape of the engines.

  • I thought maybe the bussards should be red. However, I began to realize that the way J.J. Abrams designed the new Enterprise, it would have been a much easier transition the a future Enterprise A.

The upgrade from NCC-1701 to the movie NCC-1701 was too drastic given the short amount of time that passed between the close of TOS and TOM.

  • I didn't like it, but the genius of the original, and indeed all, of the designs is how they film in large-scale, in 3-D. The original, the A, and the X11 versions all share those beautiful perspectival shots from the back of a nacelle or from the front of the primary. However, I bought the ToysRUs model of the new one, and after spending time with that, I now can't look at a similar model released 10 yrs ago of the "movie A" version w/0 thinking that the movie version looks like "a fat duck."

  • I mean, the old "movie A" version looks ungainly to me now, heavy in the belly. Also, I like the way that the new one, the X11, has an articulated dish sensor, as did the original. The "movie-A" version had the main deflector melded to the hull. I also like the return to round nacelles, rather than flat. It makes the ship more lithe.

  • you know i think i know why it looks different. I meen it was just commisioned in the new movie, but when we first see her in TOS the Enterprise had already been in service for several years, maybe the TOR Enterprise had been refited since its launch.

    just saying

  • It's also a totally different time line now.

  • its a crap looking ship.. should of kept with the original design.. i hate the look of this hsip my repect for the enterprise has just decreased due to this "NEW" style of enterprise.. its crap you ruined it...

  • I don't like this Enterprise at all!

Looks like a 4 year old designed the ship. (Apologies to four year olds who can draw.)

JJ screwed the original series over, so it should be no surprise that he would mess with the most famous starship in history too.

  • Where is the music from chum?

  • I have posted my thoughts on this new Enterprise design, I like your modifications by the way! I would have liked to see them just use the original ship from the series, now don't missunderstand, use the original design, but refine it a bit using todays technology, it most likely would have looked like the ship used in the final episodes of "Enterprise" The series, although made more effective visually for the big screen .

  • I hope this leads to the class A recognition it deserves. I like the new ship. I cant wait to see your CGI guys shine. Everything you touch seems to turn to gold. Drop me a message if you have any private comments.

  • JJ or his crew will have undoubtedly stumbled across this vid, among others by now. I want him to know that he has my support, and despite the bitchfest the various forums and websites have become, in our hearts and minds the majority of us die hard trek fans support the unknown, appreciate the huge weight of this film on you, and will be all giving you a standing ovation in spirit in the closing scene of the movie in theatres.

  • a sequel. Fighting against change is a bit crazy really. I wonder what all TOS fans would have said if TNG was just about to come to air in a few months time.. English accent captain, robot, Klingon, families on the ship, etc etc.

Change never comes easy, but if Gene R's vision stood for anything, it would be that change, however difficult, can lead to great things if the best of humanity shines through.

  • wow. 20,00 views of something i did in photoshop. Hope it entertained, and glad it got some debate going.

I was simply trying to do my best at fusing JJ's Enterprise with what we already have seen.

    Some liked it, some didnt.

If the film flops, bad times, there probs wont be any more trek for some time to come (with the exception of the excellent fan made shiz available such as phase II etc). But I have a feeling that it will be a moderately good film, and in a few years there will be..

  • It seems as though Paramount has done everything with Star Trek but what audiences want the old cast was so good and the ship a legend as made by the crew. I wish Gene Roddenberry were here he almost canceled Gen orations which should have been done now a fourth chance and Paramount goofs it up again. and not asking Bill Shatner to be even a guest.

  • I dont care for the new ship , the original Constitution Class or the refitted Constitution for the motion picture was best I have always thought, the old saucer on the movie refit would have really knocked them out .

  • Here's a thought - what would the refit of this new enterprise look like? What would Enterprises B, C, D, and E look like with this new design lineage? What about ship classes like the Miranda? the Excelcior? Oberth? Defiant? Intrepid? Nebula? Akira? The new design is practically a violation of the temporal prime directive, as it would effect the development of all of these great designs.

  • You tell em.. Daniels!

  • @Nojaru Hey! It's the Early 2000s. New years, new more futuristic looking designs. But then again, you are right. By the way, I noticed that the outer ring of the saucer has a similar window pattern to the refit Enterprise/Enterprise A.

  • @Nojaru Just imagine the Enterprise with a Prometheus design to it XD lol

  • I think that would be a massive improvement over the one that's going in.

  • I don't know why they changed almost everything. The original one was just so beautiful and thisone looks so strange in compare wit the original...

Well, all in all it can be acceptable what they did to the legend's exterier.

But what they did to here inside is unforgivable and unacceptable. BLEH!!!

  • The modification does present a certain TOS look that i like.

  • I can deal with updating the inside, but they should have left the outside alone. Don't go off about it being "dated" either. Plywood sets are dated, but Matt Jefferies design is timeless. The Enterprise is an icon. She's a character every bit as much as Kirk, Spock and McCoy are.

  • The front is nice but the back is hideous! They should've left it alone.

  • Great movies are always about great storytelling, that and the relationships between the characters in the story; that is why TOS still holds up today. The very first Trek flick blew because they forgot what made TOS work. They forgot they were friends first, they forgot the whimsical moments, they forgot the humanity and humor. I want to have fun at the movies, I want a roller coaster ride, I want to leave the theater beaming about the film not bitching about some detail that was missed.

  • I always thought the 1st film was chockful of humor and action. the 2nd film though, now that was a real snorefest. zzzzzzzz

  • "Yeah, cause redesigning the Batmobile didn't work for Chris Nolan, and redesigning Galactica didn't work for Ron More. Bryan Singer lost it when he didn't put Wolverine in yellow tights."

The Analogies are rather weak, as NONE of these have the following or even box-office success or proliferation of Star Trek (not even Batman.10 movies,5 TV series +1 animated) Nor the mass of dedicated followers. THE ONLY motion picture franchise with a following comparable to STAR TREK is STAR WARS. Period.

  • Your Design is VASTY better than the mostrosity that this jerkoff Abrams is trying to pass as the enterprise....WHO the FUCK does he think he is??? Change is one thing.. but to take something that was admittedly simplistic and make it PLAIN UGLY is entirely different. I say they do some Last minute editing and use your design instead. PROPS to YOU XANDERCOM

  • Why would I want the same exact Star Trek that i've seen before? I've own it on dvd. I actually want somthing new, somthing I havn't seen before! Otherwise i'm not spending the price of the movie ticket

  • Crap

  • this ship should have been caption scott bulak form startrek enterprise and caption james t kirk would be amerial in stead of amerial frost.

  • To be fair to the guy who posted this and made the photoshop mods, I love the work. I don't have a problem with the look of the ship being updated for the movie, but that was a cool job adjusting the color and shape of the ship. The whiter exterior and gold saucer were the perfect touch.

  • Wow, so much of a frenzy over the updating of the ship's look, does anyone actually care if the story will be well written and well told? Apparently not. What will kill this movie is that the neck of the ship is shaped wrong.

    Get a life.

  • You don't get it. They mess around with the ship look THIS much, what else are they going to mess with? This isn't Star Trek. It's Paramount still trying to make money off of a really good thing that Berman killed. Paramount: NO MORE BLOODY REBOOTS: do something original and good!

  • Yeah, cause redesigning the Batmobile didn't work for Chris Nolan, and redesigning Galactica didn't work for Ron More. Bryan Singer lost it when he didn't put Wolverine in yellow tights.

J.J. Abrams should totally make the enterprise look like a cheesy plywood model from the 60's, then we'll know he's respecting the source.

  • You definitely don't get it.

Just given the new Enterprise, this new movie by any stretch of the imagination, is not a prequel to the original series. It is a "reboot" and Paramount should just be ashamed of itself for trying to recreate something instead of making something original.

It's time hollywood stopped remaking stuff (Battlestar Galactica included). Originality and creativity, not "reboots," not endless sequels or prequels, are needed.

  • of course it's a prequel. cuz it's set in a time before the tv show.

  • It's not a prequel! The storyline and timeline was changed and so therefore it does not add to the original. It CHANGES the original. It is a reboot!

  • yeah! according to the movie, the whole movie takes place in an alternate timeline; an alternate universe! so the prime Star Trek timeline (i.e, TOS, TNG, etc) are completely unaffected!

  • I definitely do get it...

But hey, if you want to dismiss a movie as lame because it doesn't copy the original material more closely, and at the same time complain that Hollywood copies older material too much... Sure, whatever.

  • No you don't understand, and I'm tired of trying to explain it to you.

  • Thank God! You actually get it. I thought i was the only trek fan who thought this way

  • Why dident JJ abrams us this enterprise i think everyone would have excepted this enerprise over that other one. that enterprise for the movie is so bad i think JJ should have asked the fans what they thought first before choosing a new design but i do have to say he did do a good job on the inside of the ship dont get me wrong i love the classic enterprise but the inside seemed abit to plastic and fake.

  • They screwed the pooch on this one, mainly because the primary hull is way too far forward.

  • The first thing I noticed when I saw this photo was that it looks more like TMP refit. i.e. saucer and deflector. I like your additions! They shoulda had them in the real version. The nacelles look goofy and there's no shuttle bay. Anyway, I'll stop ranting about the little things. As long as this film is well written and not a huge upfront to cannon, I'm cool with it.

  • I think the ship should have 4 nacells that open up like x wing fighter. saucer should be triangular and dish thing should be a death ray that destroys planets.

  • To quote Butters from the the Indiana Jones episode of South Park.. "I kinda liked it"

I like the idea of re-imaging of star trek...It's something different. Yes classic star trek will always rule but I think some artistic freedom for star trek is due. And if the new designs and movies suck than we'll always have TOS and so on

The design is a little radical but give it time...also chill out people its a damn ship no need for anger.

  • looks nice

  • Fuck this Shit...

Abe is an Idiot!!! Lets go Forward to the Enterprise J Series and see some really Cool Mods like no more Turbo Lifts, All are Teleportation Doors.

Say "Bridge", Walk into the Door and appear on the other side of the door on the bridge.. Nice Mod using the Transporters Technology..

Armor Technology!!! As seen in Voyagers Last Show!!!

New Uber Shields, Travel faster Than Warp Drive- Star Trek TNG: The 9th Degree

Mega Phasers: Star Trek TNG's Last Show!!!

    Forward!!!!

  • the new design is a total peice of shit.

  • The warp nacell pylons should remain straight. All the curvy crap just doesnt seem right.

The pylons are way so far back on the engineering section.

    (Why is engineering so short?)

    where is the shuttle bay?

  • eh i hate to break it to ya since Gene Rodenberry is dead. What JJ Aberhams is doin is NOT mocking star trek damit lol hes tryin to bring about a new era in the trek universe and what here u dumbasses are doin nothin but insulting him and his design when u just cant learn to accept it sure its not the the 60s version why since the 1960s is over this design is ment to be 23r century materia so why dont u guys get a grip will yas..

  • what in the design relegates it to the decade of the 60's and only the 60's moron. Its not like its a rocket ship for the 50's. Or like a Cadilac from the same era with huge shark fins. All the Enterprises through out the lineage have the same basic shape and no one screams about the out dated 60's look. All the original design needs is a little extra detailing and some textures and it would look awesome on the big screen. Not an ulgy turd like Abrams version. Damn I hope this movie bombs

  • THUMBS UP YES YES.....ha ha I cant believe I'm taking part in this cavalcade of arguing but you seem to be one of the few persons here that makes sense.

  • What is the "new twist" of this Enterprise that you mention all the time in your comments?

  • The design is apocryphal -- almost HERETICAL to the Star Trek mythos. How can you make it look MORE advaced than the Enerprise of TOS.

  • You sure it's not speritical? Or hyponetical? Or even phyonetimonical?

  • Because the TOS version was from the sixties and it was time to update it with the 21st century. It looks awesome!

  • agreed :)

  • The design may have been 60's but it was SUPPOSED to be 23rd Century. That is NOT the ship that Kirk and crew flew in. It's just like when some genius decided to put lobsters on the Klingons foreheads and give them sharp teeth. Klingons were just supposed to be warlike humanoids with green skin, not alien monsters!

  • give me a break lol dude the 60s is over and that ship design was actualy 60s but this is the ship of today still the same just slightly modifed and now with a new twist so i suggest u quit ur bitching and give JJ Aberhams a break will ya.

  • That's not true. They originally wanted to make the klingons like you saw in the movies and later series but didn't have the budget for it.

  • Yeah the "genius" who decided to put lobsters on the Klingons heads was a guy named Gene Roddenberry, who always intended the Klingons to be alien in appearance on the show, but didn't have the budget for it.

  • Yeah, lobster was REALLY expensive back in the

    60's... ;P

  • Said the guy whose never had to produce a television show.

  • i don't like the ridges on the new secondary hull, they look funky, trying too much to emulate the enterprise-D, which only had those rides to make the secondary hull wider to match up that giant ellipse of a saucer.

  • get a grip

  • She is beautiful.

  • I like both, but for different reasons.

I think JJ has done a quite frankly superb thing with the new enterprise, and has tried to keep the outside of the ship in fitting with the inside (i.e. clean, contemporary {i cant spell if you hadnt of already guessed} and with hints of blue)....if you dont get that, dw, i barely get what im saying half the time.

basically, i think for this film jj's is better, but yours would be better for a sequal (kinda mixed in with his)

  • I like the movie version. For all of you who need to express hatred towards it, Remeber how people must of felt seeing the 1701D and E for the very first time.

  • I agree. I'm a die hard fan of the designs of the star trek ships. I know it's a trend but hollywood is reinventing old out-dated and sometimes campy movie series (Bond, Batman...now star trek). I think this concept is good. Plus te new design of the enterprise will make the refit of the constitution class as seen in the movies seem more realistic.....Man I'm a nerd!

  • That and you can look at her, and you can't deny she's a definate member of the Enterprise lineage. Not a transformer, not the Friggin Batmobile, It's a federation starship without a doubt.

  • :) aye just wait till u see this version in action.

  • When I first saw a picture of the Enterprise-D, I liked it, but thought it was very strange and alien. Looking back on that I kind of laugh. It ended up becoming one of my all time favorite designs.

  • Your mods look more like the original... something that would have been re-fit into the Enterprise as seen in TOS. The movie producers should be taking YOUR notes. haha!

  • eh i hate to break it to ya but the producers dont and will never be taking notes from people like us.

  • It look's too much like an ambassador class, I don't care for it.

  • your design is awesome i like it

  • There is no way this is the movie enterprise. This looks like somebody too the 1701-D and tried to give it a retro look. To which I'd say, good job on making Picards Enterprise look 100 years older. But this IS NOT kirks Enterprise

  • i don't care too much for this new design. they should have kept the original Enterprise design and put that in the movie. this looks like the original with bits and pieces of NCC-1701-A. if this movie is about Kirk, Spock, Bones, and everyone else in their 20s, then the old design should have been used. however i can't wait for the movie. xandercom....your design is a lot better.

  • *Imagine a announcer saying this*

    Its sleek!....Its Stylish!....Its NEW!

    The all new USS Enterprise!

    Avalible May 2009

  • I love the new designs, and to all those people who like the old designs, just remember, this isn't the old story. this is the new story, like the new batman it has very little to do with the original. the only design feature i don't like is the nacelles, i feel they are too large on the leading edge, and a little to short. but thats just me. other than that, awsome design!

  • love it! fuck these guys who dont agree!
