  • @therealggp yeah your right man i was just listening to that just b4 i watchd this so think was still fresh in my brain lol its stat quo i am hip hop its sick

  • shit this dude had his album done before Encore, the Massacre, and the Doumentary and it got shelved. cant blame him for wanting out he got fucked over

  • Niggas still doing Amistad jokes...:#

  • Stat Quo one of the nicest out there...he was giving names that Dre never put out...can't forget the cat from Pittsburgh Joe Beast...Dre and 50 took the "in the club" from that cat and you all know what that song did. Stat Quo, get yours my man!!!!!

  • @linc42 sorry the beat for ' In Da Club ' was for D12 until em asked would they be happy if 50 took it which they were!!!!!

  • Rosenberg and Iovine are the Satan's minions Stat!....but I feel you, you ain't shittin on folks that can help you down the line.

  • Stat needs to do a song wit Willie Tha Kid.

  • everyone forgeot Bobby Creekwater they lost him 2 hes mad dope

  • Shady/Aftermath fucked up losing all these artists like: Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Young Zee, Obie Trice, etc. Jimmy Iovine is the DEVIL !!!

  • The video is dated 11/26/08 but it's uploaded on 11/20/08. Wtf?

  • whats the song in background?

  • whats the song in the background?

  • dumbest move ever quo u dumb nigg

  • use a label like they use you thats what I say chek my music

  • Music Politricks dictate that if the Label Head Interscope isnt feeling it,then Dr.Dre/Aftermath/Shady cant release it.Dr.Dre has Stat Quo in one of his new Beats By Dr.Dre headphone Commercials,so its all love

  • Yeah bitch i'm swingin on the handrail while saying important person's nameYOU HEAR ME

  • Aw man, Stat looked like he had the potential, that sucks. That would've been a huge thing because I don't think they have anyone from the south on the Aftermath roster. Damn that would've been a good album. He's one of the best there never was...hopefully he will take out an album.

  • @JustAnotherTeenBoy thats not true, they got that faggot yellawolf

  • I'd like to thank my attorney....music biz 101...can i get a bigger check for my services??

  • Stan...i remember that brother at UF

  • yo Stan.....much respect man....this brother was a cool brother back in Gainesville when he was there....he been places and done big things and i wish the brother the best....he always was areal cool nigga....big up

  • keep ya head up stat

cos u sik mc n thats that

  • if this kid wasn't given a fair shot he would of been rap's next big thing why did shady sign him just to hold him back and not put him out same with a lot of dudes eminem signs theres only ever been 50 who has really put his time into stat would of been bigger than 50 thers another dude they got called cashis they not putting him out really or bobby creek don't understand why they bother signing them

  • this dude looks n sounds like he jus got the call seriously he looks stunned

  • Something really wrong with Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit... Obie left, Busta left, Stat left, Olivia never came out, Joell never came out... something really wrong... they need to clean up... It is sad that good artist get filtered out and the wack shit get promoted...

  • @twenty6s all dre n shadys tax money spent wisley the reaon y busta left coz jimmy wasnt happy with the album what buster n dre put 2geva and sai hold it bk n buster didnt like it so he left with dre blessing obie was jus washed up tax money he is dope but he ant got kno pulling power

  • well stat shouldnt feel so bad, yeah he left shady cause they aint had time for him, but busta left, cube left aftermath, eve left aftermath. think about it if you have preety much every rapper wanting to be on that team, somebody gonna be left out, em and dre are rap kings but shit even they cant work on their own albums, d12, stat, creek, gunit and the 50 other mutherfuckers they got lined up, its logical shit, they sign mans cause they see potential, but time dont stop, so thats what it is

  • he left around this time 2 yrs ago when it became apparent that interscope had no intention of fianancing a 3rd albam. He put a diss song out running their style of business, though i'm not sure if him and em are on speaking terms

  • i hear you nicole but to my knowledge xzibet was never signed to shady records though he hung around em and dre during that chronic tour period getting involved in dre's feud with dupri etc etc.....in truth x did wanna sign with em but sony/columbia prevented it

Given that they dropped 50 then he blew up....

What if x duz the same so u can imagine the sony exec's reluctancy to release him

  • i feel for this artist, but it makes me wonder if dr dre and eminem are really in control of their own labels....

  • @megamanxtt dont know about Dre but Em had a bad period back then, trying to get off drugs.I'm guessing last thing on his mind was his label. He lost some good rappers back in that time like stat quo ,obie trice or xzibit. When Recovery came out he said he will try to take better care of Shady records, since his personal stuffs are better,so we will see.

  • The one thing I can honestly say is that Stat Quo has been getting slept on for a while now, and the sad thing is he's got talent. And to anybody who's saying anything like "Stat Quo is wack, he's garbage", whatever - you been sleeping too. Wake the fuck up!

  • u wack

  • the only reason anyone knows this guy, he was with shady, but this guy sucks balls, he wasnt even good. hes like mc ren hanging on the band wagon trying to catch a light of stardom, if he was good they would have kept him. he can stay in that rented motel like he has cash. NO ONE WHO IS A BASEMENT RAPPER HAS MONEY. GO BACK AND WORK INTHE TIRE SHOP ON THE CORNER.

  • WHO WOULD EVER OF HEARD OF STAT QUO IF HE NEVER SIGNED TO SHADY

  • @DAJAZDJ1 - True, un-bias Hip-Hop fans who pay attention to the mix-tape movement and underground hip-hop scenes.

  • is that p hat for proof

  • @DAJAZDJ1 phili u moron

  • This guy messed up, nobody would even know him if it werent for dre. whats his rush?, he had the great producer ever in hip hop going to make a classic album for him like snoop, game, eminem, and games debuts all classics that would've made him filithy rich, and he couldn't wait, now he';ll probably end up on some dirty south mixtape circuit in atlanta. didn't he notice how every rapper suddenly sucks after they stop working with dre? too bad i liked him on dres beats

  • @jgk381 - Statlanta 2010.

  • @lmorganjr whats that his new mixtape?

  • @jgk381 No, but if you took the time to comment on this particular video, I'm "pretty-sure" you took enough time to do some research on Stat Quo and his present artistic works. I love to hear your new mixtape and/or producing skills? "Holla"!

  • @lmorganjr i didn't do any research on him, and haven't really heard much from him, but the tracks i did hear of him over some dre beats back in like 2006 were dope, and i thought he'd be coming out with an album so was surprised to see this video saying he left aftermath. i'm not sure if you took my question about that being a mixtape as sarcasm, but i wasn't ripping on him, just asking about that project in general, i think he's dope, just that he shoulda stuck with dre. imo.

  • @lmorganjr Here's some of my past work if your interested. I'm in the middle of upgrading some of my equipment, so haven't made anything new in a while. Its a track I did for an Xzibit remix contest, and a few other instrumentals

  • Stat Quo is the epitome of a "washed up rapper" He will probably never release a proper album and he is already too old. Why can't washed up slobs like Stat Quo just get the fuck out of the rap game. He is messing up rap music. Stat is one of those loser - whose mum should have got an abortion:

    youtube.com/watch?v=KW3RIgk3x6c

  • @jprincehouston who r u?...bringing momz n2 it...fuc n wow

can you explain how stat fuced up rap....dont b a crab homeboy..b progressive... but u entitled to your hateful words-thats my brother u hatin on...ps. you went platinum or gold or just opinionated? did he promise to feature on your project or ?

  • @jprincehouston - 2010 Statlanta- One of thee best Hip-Hop albums of 2010. Be a true, un-bias Hip-Hop listener or fan, and listen to the album then listen to some other artists' albums for 2010. Try.

  • @lmorganjr i dun know try recovery

  • @jprincehouston: u got something personal against stat?.. did u know him or some shit.

  • i feel so bad for stat watching this.

  • Tupac was murder on Death Row Records and Interscope Records

And was shot five times on Interscope Records was Suge Knight Boss.

  • Interscope Records I think of 2pac, Dr Dre, and Suge Knight

  • Yo Dude live at the Crib that's what Up.

  • bishop lamont, stat quo, busta rhymes, rakim, raekwon all were at one point with aftermath I think as legendary as that label is they just have really bad managment its just crazy how they never release their albums

  • Stat doesn't have to rap. He's got good degrees, he'll get jobs no problem. I want him to still rap though, hip hop at it's finest

  • not about talent as it is about marketability, you look at this dude and you can tell he just doesn't have "it" you know? hes got some good tracks but thats about it

  • he says he is a star its 2010 and still no albumn says he is atlanta but wears a pittsburgh hat,lol i bet his presigning bonus from aftermath is gone he left the number 1 label niggers never learn

  • What the fuck does a baseball cap have to do wit what he rep?!? Stat rep ATL in whatever he do and don't need to wear that shit on his chest. As for him being retarded for leaving aftermath, being broke and all that other ignorant shit you talkin', him breaking away and doing his shit independently is what he need to do. He's too talented. You really can't blame him for Em and Dre putting him on the self.

  • dumb broke nigga with no talent if he had it thet would have put him out to make them money..lol king james ihope you aint supporting lebron he aint won shit Go Lakers and you can keep the washed up shaq kobe soon to pass jordan

  • @GODSVOTE - Cute, but Lebron James has nothing to do with my screen name. Wouldn't say I hate dude, but he is far from my favorite player. But back to the subject, if you are a Hip Hop head or just know how the music industry works (which judging by your comments you don't) you would know that Shady not pushing Quo had nothing to do with him not having talent. Image sells nowadays and I think it's fair to say that 50 Cent's image made him more marketable at the time.

  • Next to Em, Stat was(skills wise) arguable the next best MC signed to Shady at that time. I don't think it was Stat's talent they were worried about dude. Stat go in on everything he spit on just didn't have that 50 Cent kinda buzz so they put him on the shelf. Doesn't take a genius to see that. Record labels are out to make money and 50 was the cash cow. Stat will be alright tho. His music can't be denied. Real niggas relate to Stat.

  • he is a retard got a video and a little bit of money thought he was the shit now he is unemployed

  • Dre always took forever to do his shit. HE don't drop but every seven years! He ain't even doin that shit no more. Cut the nigga some slack though he been doing this shit for decades with an s! his son died in the mist of all these dudes careers. This nigga Dre been mixed up in a whole lot of shit too man I probably would be cautious and weary of my moves too! Especially the shit I heard about him the way niggas gossip

  • he's still with shady aftermath... or he got back with them.

  • pull your skirt down stat, dr dre MADE you!

  • aftermath ain't shit anymore, I'm glad stat left aftermath, same with obie trice. They just put out shit, the minute obie left he put out an album that was fire, and i know stat will now too. Maybe his album will actually come out now. And how long have we been waiting for DETOX? fuck aftermath, and noone needs dre to start their career anymore. He could've easily done it without him, especially after being backed by scarface

  • Em's new shit is sick but other than that Aftermath aint got dhit i agree.

  • @universalsheep

the beef was with eminem, listen to dear summer. Dude is fucked in the head, took shit too personal and that was it for stat

  • @Jpower24 why are they beefing??

  • Stats side of it is they were in a meeting or some shit; dre and em were sittin around the table. Stat kicks a joke or says some shit that Em just took way too personal. Em had a vendetta against stat from that point so he felt he couldnt be a part of aftermath

  • @Jpower24 lol it must of been about his daughter then...

  • that city is atlanta?

  • Looks like Miami

  • he is in Miami

  • Joe beast

  • stat left because shady aftermath still hadnt released his record after 4 years

  • wat was interscope thinkn dropn stat & o b they was fina blo fuk jimy iovine pusy niga

  • Stat got commerical appeal, he just got handled badly

  • 1 of sickest emcee's from the South

  • anyone know the song by stat playing in the background at the start?

  • i heard they left because interscope wouldnt release there records when they had people like dre and shady puttin records out

  • im a hip hop dj and i relly have lost all respect for aftermath stat and trice were not the biggst but probly had the most swager aftermath has fuked it

  • obie trice that wasn't eminems fault he got dropped interscope dropped him

  • @jordonwt man they left themselves, afterath didn't kick 'em out

  • shady/aftermath got 2 be the worst label to sign to......you ghostwright for music that never comes out then get DROPED

  • Comment removed

  • The song is called I Am Hip Hop by Stat Quo off the The Bailout, track 4

  • Stat Quo and Bobby Creekwater (both potentially the most underrated rap artists under Shady) have not publically released anything with the exception of mixtapes. It's indeed a shame. Obie Trice' upcoming effort supposively is going to come out this fall.

  • pple dont realize, aftermath/shady/g-unit had a sick squad. there rosters were unbelievable, talk about a fucken dream team.....its too bad alot of them didnt stay and work out. its the buizness u know.....as long as the platinum trio stays intact, its all that matters (dre, em, 50)

  • Eve Still could come out on Aftermath,The Game could reconnect with Dre,And we all know Dre could sign an ass of people out there.

  • have u heard of bishop lamont

  • whats the song in the backround

  • Watching this shit is sad. What the hell was Dre and Em thinking? It's like they enjoy keeping artists back or something. I could be wrong, I don't know what goes on.

Dre and Em took forever to release their shit, so what's their excuse for not working on the artists they gave hope to? I don't get it. Obie Trice was one of my favorite artists on Shady, it's fucked up that he had to leave. "Second Round's on Me" is a classic, imo.

  • @css1323 thats why everyone they signed apart from 50cent and cashis has gone they even lost obie trice plus bobby creek and statquo and cash will be next

  • @css1323 - Umm.

  • @css1323 Totally agree, the only person besides em who makes music frequently is 50, everybody else didn't even have 1 fucking studio album, obie only had a couple, cashis had none, he did have an ep, and stat nothing, they tease these guys.

  • @DEATHBYSOCIALIST stat has statlanta

  • @Palillos1337 that came out after he left aftermath/shady.

  • @css1323 obies' gone from shady?.....when did he leave?

  • @css1323 Second round's on me ain't a classic at all.. 'Cheers' was a lot better, but not the best album too.. but all of those bitch tracks on second round's on me .. damnn

  • @GeeZed1 they both top top records obie's fucking hot believe

  • @css1323 that's what im saying why sign these kid then not put em out nearly everyone they signed has left i like cashis but they not doing much with him he gone next i can see it coming hope slaughterhouse get a better chance and eminem shouldn't be doing this cos he must know what's it like to keep getting knockbacks

  • @css1323 the reason he didnt really got the chance to come out was his skills who the fuck is YOU NIGGA?

  • @TagzBloody Whoa, what? You a label exec? Haha. Who the fuck are you, commenting on my old ass comment. Come on, man.

  • @css1323 yeah man i think the same thing but the thing is that interscope is not only a hip hop label even if aftermath (a sub label of interscope) and shady (sub sub) would like to take out some new artists...interscope may not raelly care about it... artists like Blink 182, Keri Hilson, U2, Limp Bizkit, Pussycat Dolls, Black Eyed Peas, Rise Against, OneRepûblic, Gwen stefani and Timbaland are also signed to interscope....and they have to pass under the nose of ""MR. Industry" like everyone....

  • NO they were could have had a dream but dre had a problem bout something but the dream team could have been (EMINEM,DR DRE,50,LLOYD BANKS,YOUNG BUCK,THE GAME,TONY YAYO,STAT QUO,JOEL ORTIZ,BOBBY CREEKWATER,NAS,RAKIM,ICECUBE,MOBB DEEP,PRODIGY,OBIE TRICE,R.I.P TO PROOF,GAGE,ROYCE,OLIVIA,AJ GRNN,EVE & EVEN SNOOP DOGG & D-BLOCK) SAID THEY WOULD COME IN BUT DRE SAID (NO WAY) SO WE WILL NEVER SEE IT ALL BECAUSE THEY HAD TO START BEEFIN WITH EACH OTHER LIKE GAME WITH G-UINT & EMINEM WITH XXL CRAZY SHIT.

  • finally! a nigga who knows what hes talkib bout..preach brotha. u know what it is fam'..i try to tell catz this shit all tha time but they seem to think they know everry damn thing & dont listen to a word i say.

  • Hey dont forget about Busta

  • Fuckin' right. Busta is fuckin' tracks up right now. If he woulda got signed to Aftermath, Dre and Em coulda been sittin' back and really retiring. They makin' dumb moves IMO. They need to let G-Unit go and get back Buck and Game.

  • And Rakim man.

  • gotta respect him, plus niggaz gotta realize this man went to collge an graduated with a degree so its obvious he a hustla, with dre or not he gone blow, jus give it time.... stay on ya grind stat....

  • Dre needs to start puttin his artists albums out yo'..Rakim,Gage,Joell Ortiz & now Stat Quo..damn..stop worryin bout your ol' artists like Eminem & 50 & produce some hits for your new fresh talent & get your own niggaz some publicity n' fame..these niggaz are all still in their prime & spit real shit for true hip hop fans..Joell Ortiz' new album is gonna be off tha chain..Dr shouldnt of let that nigga go..plus he shoulda signed Royce back in tha day..this nigga coulda had a team of tha illest

  • i know right. aftermath could have been sick. mainstream wise they would have sold a bunch of records with em and 50.

D12 and g-unit would have sold too bcos of them. He could have had Rakim the legend..Game would have stayed, Joell Ortiz,Gage,Obie trice, shady records, eve, i heard even nas was supposed to be on aftermath..damn..the dream team of rap music...if only

  • misterjz....i feel ya doggy....a true g..i mean he doesnt have to be how he is..hes being the bigger man, and instead of letting the bad circumstances holding him down hes recognizing what went on and becoming better for it

  • what is the first song in this vid?

  • yeah what is it called ?

  • Look at this guy...even tho his album can't come out, he's givin nothing but respect. See, instead of coming out here and trying to start a hip hop war to create sales, he just like "hey, i got respect for all those guys, things just didn't work out..." That's just some solid sh!t right there...although it really is too bad about the situation, because "By my side" and "Stop the Show" are still some of the dopest songs i've heard in a while...

  • Exactly! Now, in the future, StatQuo will get even more sales, and respect. Very good point!

  • I don't even know who this rapper is but reading his story here...It's sad. He looks sad. Put your own shit out. Invest in yourself if your an artists don't wait on some label, or a big "RAPPER" to but you on...Sounds good in the background, he's talented. GL MR!

  • Yo fuck stat he is good but not as good as cashis or bobby creak . he will never succed without eminem. Young buck, obie trice, the gayme and all quiters suck buffalo's ass, by the way no body will ever be what 50 or eminem are today.

    EAST side baby

  • shady aftermath gunit have lost all their best artists

    game

    busta

    obie

    buck

    stat

    shame

the rap game is officially fucked up

  • game got dropped cus he couldn't listen!

busta left cus blessed was gonna get pushed bacc so he left.

obie contract ran out!and cus he didn't do so good on 2nd round on me der was a rumours dat somone was gonna get dropped.

buck is out of gunit the group!but he's still on g unit records but hes on time out.

stat stuff was jus to old to put out!and me i jus haven't got a shot yet!

  • Not to mention the Rakim and the Raekwon albums getting fucked up.

  • rakim kim left out of respect of ideas.basicaly he when in the booth and dre said lets bring the guns out!

truthhurts ran away cus of legel problems over a sample song she did

stack bundles left cus he was to demanding

brooklyn was kept to do ghost whritin 4 dre.don't get me started on joel ortiz!anything i left out?

  • plus proof is dead rip

  • stat quo the king !

  • please god dont let bishop go down the same road

  • shady aftermath made so many ppl, and they all fuck them over

    The game for example,

  • game wasn't fucked by shady/aftermath, game got fucked by G-unit. But I know what you mean, whatever happened to cashis, M.O.P, Ma$e, Mobb Deep etc. Shady/aftermath/G-unit are not supporting they're artists. I'd be pretty pissed if an album took 5 yrs and was still not getting released. Em went on vacation, dre takes years on each album and 50 is fuckin selfish. I mean look at G-Unit, 50 spends the whole budget on himself and gives the rest scraps. spends it all on beef and pop shit.

  • ok in begging of this video it says "11.26.08 - November 26/2008" right?

but this vidoe was uploaded on "November 20/2008"

So wat the heck is it?

  • I might be just as pissed as the next person if I was on a label for years and didn't get an album out; but seriously who's fault is it that he couldn't get a song to chart? I'm not saying the man doens't have talent, but that doesn't mean he can sell albums, and as business people that's what you have to do. I love Dre, but he even pisses me off with the length of time you have to wait for new music, but when it comes out, you know it's right. When you do better than them, then talk!

  • WORRDD fuck shady fuck aftermath

stat and dre only 2 that ever had flow.

  • u fuckin dumass DRE IS AFTERMATH....& EMINEM(SHADY)MADE STAT QUO THE WAY HE IS NOOOOW.....NI99A

  • Nigga shut tha fuck up..if it wasn't for Shady..nobody would even know who the fuck you are!..& now you wanna put out diss songs!..you lost my respect homie!...OnE

  • I agree with Stat his album should have come out a long time ago the public still waiting on Atlanta's first classic.

  • the P on his hat stand for pussy hole lol

  • man fuck stat quo he was a waste of time 4 both aftermath & shady BITCH NIGGER FROM THE SOUTH FUCK U.

  • fuck atlanta, not the people, but the music, it sucks all that dj khaled, slim thug, south shit. the west ownes, westside connection snoop, eminem, and dre.

  • ur right

  • Does anyone know the name of tha song playin in the background that shit is bumpin.. please let me know what it is

  • i'am hip hop

  • Stat Quo - I Am Hip Hop

  • he should leave interscope....fuck all that...it's been 4-5 years since shady announced his album debut ...and nothing...I dont know why Em preferes 50 cent....fuck all that...I think Obie did a good thing...peace

  • true Obie should not have left though he still was gettin albums out...while Stat should have left long time ago

  • fuck everyone betrays shady

  • iunno wuts wrong wit dis dude stat quo is good but as if he thinks shady is holdin him back....eminem odnt need to be worried about people hes made his cash and is already a livin legend but w/e hopefully dis dude knows what hes doin

  • u aint aftermath... u aint shady... u just aint good enough deal with it.

  • Dr. Dre, 50 cent, and eminem = Aftermath

  • what a fake bitch

  • busta rhymes, obie trice, now stat quo!!!!

i got props fo busta doin his own thing...

but fuck diss stat quo peice of shit...

he aint shit wit out aftermath, now he aint got no place in da rap game, where he gunna be in the next 5 years!! still workin on statlanta or inbetween that 5 years he will drop somthing but i bet it wont be as good as him workin wit DRE!!! hes DUM!

  • shady should have never let stat or obie leave

  • I dont blame him for leaving...His shit was supposed to come up before ENCORE and that was awhile ago..

  • stat quo is shitty ill rei his ass apart gun rule 616 all day nigga

  • shit he aint goin g nowhere shadys records saw that he suck fat dick anyways

he just mad he aint blow up like 50 and obie lol

he actin like a hoe like his music is world changing..he better go and serve another dynasty loser !

  • misinformed ppl usually sound retarded its ok

  • OH Yea, I've been sleep on this bs Hip Hop for 5 years now. I just heard Stat, Mykestro, B Lamont, and Slaughterhouse's shit. Hip Hop is back homie, and Stat, nigga u know u nice, bring that real back.....

  • GOOD. shady messed with him way too long and dragged their feet they messed up not putting stat quo' album out...i hope after 4 years waiting for statlanta he decides to go hook up with chamillionaire now!

  • why is the date in the video november 26, 2008, when that's still 6 days away?

  • that's when the mixtape drops dude......

  • got it. thanks man...haha...i should have known.

  • He sounds REALLY bitter.

  • 4 years of waiting and they put out trick trick before him....id be bitter too

  • True that.

  • He is definitely A LOT more talented than Trick Trick. They did him wrong.

  • And they also did joell ortiz wrong too.

  • congrats.. but next time you do a public statement consider keeping it to 2-3 mins, turn down the Tv, and lower the music or keep it for the beginning and ending of the video.

but again, congrats, and keep up the good music.

  • This was A great decision!!!

  • "hear" the new shit I mean

  • Finally!!!! Can't wait to here the new shit
