The diameter of our Milky Way is 100 000 light years!The first radio signals have left our planet 70 years ago , so they are 70 light years now on the road, they have crossed 0.07% of our Milky Way!! If the speed of light is really what is the fastest way in the universe, then a different species has not the possibility to reach us, they would have to reach hundreds of years to be on the way to us. And even then they should not live outside of our Milky Way.

Dear Dr. Shostak, excuse me but you're a doctor, you should be smart enough to realize that the reason why pilots don't announce that there are UFOs flying in the sky and that the plane can't take off is obvious. Do you think passengers would want to board a plane that is going to be coming in contact with beings from elsewhere whose intention is unknown? That they may get abducted or something?

Do you think the airline companies would want people to know there are aliens flying up around their planes, knowing how much the companies would suffer financially from people not wanting to fly? Do you think the pilots would risk their credibility and, hence, their jobs by talking about aliens? I don't think so.

There have been so many cases where pilots and passengers have spoken out about these things and the airline companies have sent them to psychiatrists to make it look like the pilots are hallucinating (in order not to lose customers). And yet the sightings continue. There have been cases where these things were detected on radar, were seen by the pilots and passengers and even photographed. Please don't tell me it's all weather phenomena. You insult the people's intelligence when you say that.
