I have to agree. I have watched college hoops since about 1990, so I haven't seen many of the greats, but I saw this team's entire season, and 2005 Illinois was the best team I've ever seen. Their teamwork was just unbelievable, completely unselfish, couldn't ask for more out of your players, and it's a shame what happened in the title game. College basketball is amazing.

Nobody will see this post...but...to answer your question...Adams had the last shot because Illinois switched their defense...Williams was cramping up after guarding Stoudamire the whole game, so they put him on Adams. Stoudamire would have had the last shot were it not for Williams excellent defense...when they came back from the timeout and Adams saw Williams guarding him he probably almost sh!t himself. I think he was probably not thinking clearly, thank God. CHIEF FOREVER!
