What the fuck? Depending on the patch its either a Stalker suit or a merc suit. Neither of which are that good. Exoskeleton is the best armor in the game.

if u patch the game, u can buy a gorza 5.45 from sidrovich, but if u talk with wolf, after rescuing that guy, sidrovich will remove that gun PERMANETLY. so, that's a POWERFUL weapon at the begin, but it's 35000 rubles

This might have been mentioned already, but in later versions, it's a merc suit instead of a stalker suit. In the Oblivion Lost mod, you can get an AKS-74U in the attic of that cottage next to Wolf and some 5.45 ammo in the blue box stash next to the campfire. That plus the merc suit gets you started off nicely.

nooo i just played the game wrong..i have a habit of playing this kind of game twice through..once where i kill everyone and find everything..(which is technically impossible with all the stashes but thats besides the point) and the second time i just do what i need to do to get the items i want...

but no, i didnt use any mods to get all the things i have..i just exploit rather alot..for instance go to the freedom base and blow up somepeople with red barrels..no faction effect and free gp37s

well i have 2-3 major stashes and a few smaller ammo and armor stashes..my major ones are: the duty outpost, inside the green tin structure thing, under the bed in the dark,

other major stash is in the room with the guy who lets you into the arena in duty base..I'm not friendly with duty so i have to kill the guards before i can get there, and finally in Freedom base next to the campfire, mostly ammo and just things worth money there..just play the game, You'll get it right soon enough :)

Actually I just got Call of Pripyat on Friday. I am thinking I like this a little better now than Shadow. Haven't gotten too far yet, but the Bloodsuckers are definitely smarter and scarier than they were in Shadow.

Actually, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. suit is quite basic. I Find the Armored Military Suit to be higher up the ladder. Under certain "Conditions" you can buy it for 50,000RU from the trader in Cordon. It heals you, protects you from radiation, and protects you from anomolies. It's like a SEVA Suit with heavy armor plating. Anyone message my profile is you want to know how to get it.

the armored suit is good but if i rememeber correctly it has poor nightvision, unlike the SEVA suit which has the computer image nightvision..much clearer and its not that much worse than the military suit..

It only drops a Stalker suit in the unpatched version you probally have patch 1.0005 which give a merc suit.

That is no secret armor mate, is a basic armor. The value (15k) isnt that much. I have had over 200k on master difficulty. That is the first suit i found ever except for the standar suit. Its good for starter characters, but later in the game i would trade it for a SEVA suit :P

You wrote if done wrong it gets hit in the other direction yeah your right but all you do is go to the porch roof at the front of the house and shoot the armour through the hole there a few times to get it back in the corner easy enough.

cool... but i use the merc suit.. i just jumped over the freedom faction guard.. (just buy shit loads of fuel things which you can have unlimited of with you and then drop them all near the guard and then crouch jump on hes head and there you go.. free access to the freedom weapon and armor room
