  • how much does your mountain board weigh?

  • Freaking awesome, helped me extremely!!

  • What board are u using?

  • awesome...thanks even though i'm shit

  • como se llama esa tabla o patineta

  • is back flip on the mountainboard simaler to a backflip on a snowboard

  • this guy is awesome..

  • lol yo dude where are u gettin all teh speed from are u jsut kcikin off the ground if not msg me back to my profile

  • I guess when the snow melts. and when I stop working 60hrs a week.

  • wow, yea. That would help. Don't mean to rush you. I just recieved my new Core 90 today! It's waaaay cool. Too bad we still have a bunch of snow on the gound.

  • when will you make another tutorial? I'm still waiting!

  • Well the sport isn't really safe, but those bindings would be less safe. I would upgrade to something that is less likely to break at a critical time.

  • got the one footers down with supreme awesomeness..now where are these ladies and their so called numbers?????????

  • Hmmmm........ Well if you didn't get the ladies and the numbers you might be doing something wrong, or you might be doing it in a lead box which would prevent the ladies from knowing about your awesomeness. Try it again out in the open and expect the ladies and numbers to flock within 24 to 48 hrs.

    Thanks

    Jon

  • thinking of quiting skatind and doing this any help would be appreciated

  • im new to mountain boarding an would like to learn the basics but there are no good videos. I was wondering wether u could make one. Thanks :-)

  • when you go off the ramp with two feet in do you have the same issue? If you do you need to work on your jumping. If not remember not to take the foot off the board until you are off the jump, and to keep your weight forward not backward. Hope that helped.

  • Nice thanks man.

  • what are the dimensions of smaller ramp

  • like 2 foot talk 3-4 foot long.

  • i'm always for increasing the level of awsomeness ;)

    haha good stuff

  • pretty sweet

  • i sk8 but how much r those things?

  • 200ishi wanna start doing this to..:D

  • well mine (MBS Comp 90) was £155... and thats a pretty high midraged board, if you put it on a scale 1 bein from argos and 10 bein the leon robbins pro board its would be like 6... a basic good board is like £90 and a pro board from like £550 if that helps =)

  • your insane man!!!!!

  • how tall is this smaller ramp ;>

  • yeah, i'm going for a backflip this weekend :D

also would just like to back up how important shin pads are... I didnt wear one when i tried a one footer, and well, i had no skin left on my shins after the first atempt.....

  • I agree about the pads and good luck be safe.

  • glad i read that about shin pads.

was going to try one footers tomorrow morning but now I might wait to the weekend when i have time to put them on.

    I might try 3s tomorrow

  • safe, back flip here i come

    thanks

    x

  • so does the weight thingy apply to rotations, i80s 360s and stuff....? if so are you saying it's easier to spin if you are doing a grab, lets say an indy or are you saying that that wikll stop us spinning???

  • good stuff! i like your videos, but how were you getting speed for that jump?

  • I gave about 5 good pushes on flat ground.

  • Well played, good vid, I long, snow and free board, I'm now temped with mountain, THANKS :)

  • thanks its a really good tutorial

  • i dont mean to sound like im having a go, because im all for the safety warning but are you sure that 'if you fail the backflip it could easily end in......and in many circumstances death'

as far as i know no one has died from this?

    Pzz

  • No worries. I just want people to know of the risks. In mountainboarding I don't know of anyone that has died, but in other sports people have died trying backflips. I just want people to be safe and ride in their limits.

  • sound man, glad there are people like you who care.

  • lol yeah i know one person whos died from mountain boarding, and that was without a helmet riding on his own =[.

    ride on =]x x

    love life x

  • thankyou i am gona try 1 footeres now :)

  • awesome video

i have a kheo air x is this a gud board?

  • Yess !! Thanks for making this.. :-)

  • I just push with my legs. But if I were to build a down ramp or live closer to a hill that would be much better.

  • have u senn/heard of many mbs comp 6 boards de laminating ?? oh and nice vid

  • nope not many

  • "work on increasing your levels of awesomeness"

  • yeah?

  • It's just an awesome phrase. Also I'm planning on getting a mountain board in the summer, been watching your videos intently.

  • awesome thanks

  • maybe an odd question, but what bearings do you have?

  • I have the bearings that came with the board and right now I am missing 3 of the steel balls our of the back right wheel, but it still works.

  • hi jon i was just wondering if there any way that i can download your tutorial vids of nose control and this one. if so could you let me no please cheers.

  • how much approximently did the kicker you were flipping off cost?

  • about $30 done the cheap way.

  • did you cut the wood yourself?

  • So I was miss informed with the wreck section. I was misinformed that it was AJ Lawson, but it was not. Sorry

  • Listen to jon he is right on with the rotation thing. i have a 4' kicker in my back yard and i was trying to 180 indy grab and the grab completely stalled my rotation and i landed at a 90 degree angle face planting into the yard. it hurt. and thanks jon for the info u r an amazing rider

  • Thanks

  • u also got me started on the one footers, thats the only think i can do since i broke my elbow jumping a ledge. thanks for keeping out of boredome

  • nice video man, you explained one footers very well.

  • Thanks so musch for that! by the way nice legs at the end of the Video ;)

  • Jon, can you please upload some clips on basic trips like 180 degs turns, ollies etc.

    Awesome clips!

  • Awesome clip! great information.

  • Nice, Now I amd going to do a one footed back flip. Good work Jon, you should do one on 1/4 and 1/2 pipes.

  • you hero

  • another awsome tutorial...... cheers for the tips

  • Great video, really professional!

  • thanks Jon! really helpfull. gonna go try b-flips into foam now

  • that name you didnt want to mention wouldnt have been my name would it?

  • do not do what my friend does in the video response. always wear a helmet and ALWAYS COMMIT to the flip to not bail half way through.
