Ahhh nostalgia. I played and loved this game when I was a kid. It had some great music for an NES game. :)
I used to be absolutely terrified of the last boss. Actually, I was terrified of dying in general: I blame Subroc for that. (Sometimes I wonder if that game scarred any other children for life besides me...)
@Bill307 fa real? this game used to creep you out? well in my case it was mostly Ghosts N Goblins and Trojan, sometime any capcom game with a strange spooky/suspicious music creeps me out but i guess that's just me................ LOL
@80s90sRealBasketball The last boss had an instant kill cannon that was UNAVOIDABLE! (well, at that age it sure felt unavoiable, even though it isn't ;) If I fought him face-to-face, I could die at any moment! It was terrifying. ;)
@Bill307 i understand and i know exactly what you're talkin about, the last bosses attack is pretty unavoidable...i also understand you implicating a reality scenerio into because i did the same thing with life force on stage three....imaging you actually have to face the wave of flames surrounding you!!!!....man that shit is even more scarier!!.....or falling from the top of the castle to meet dracula in castlevania III.......
@80s90sRealBasketball You have to keep moving in the opposite direction that the tank is moving in, and stay as far out as you can get without going out of grenade range.
The ONLY NES game I beat as a kid.

i sure would like to see this song along with a lot of other konami classics done vertex guy style. So many of them deserve it.
