Try looking to the right of your video on youtube at suggested videos and you'll find videos showing you that at 400x (the magnification your using) you can differentiate red blood cells just fine. Also, 1200x is rarely used in light microscopes due to the limits of resolution and even the $1300ish dollar research microscopes i've used only go to 1000x. Anything above 400x virtually always uses an oil immersion lens.

not sure on the power but i do know you cannot see the blood cells at 400x not like this anyhow hoping to get even better one someday
