Anybody who says this girl cant sing is deluded! This is one of her best live performances. I was in a trance watching this performance, it was so beautiful and she performed it so beautifully with so much emotion. No, I do not have pitch problems. My biggest pet peeve for a singer is bad intonation, and I am as harsh on myself when it comes to it as I am with someone like Christina.
You can't seem to hear Christina's bad intonation, and thus I doubt you could be able to tell if my intonation was bad. But anyways, if you think you can point out exactly where my recordings have pitch problems, please do, show me the times if possible.

In your 'Born This Way' recording, you included a message "bit down the note on 'was', LOL" and when you belted out your C6, you changed the pitch slightly near the end. If you were "as harsh on myself" then I don't think you would find it funny that you were flat on a note.
My comment that I bit down on a note meant that my attack of the note wasn't centered on the note but I slurred it, in other words the pitch looked like check mark instead of a straight line because my jaw got tense and shot forward as if biting. And yes, that's a vocal flaw and thus I mentioned it (while most people wouldn't have noticed it). But it wasn't enough of a pitch fluctuation to be considered off key.
And what you refer to on my top C is that from vibrato I went to a straight note and then back to vibrato, but the pitch didn't go flat, in fact...it became even more centered because vibrato IS a fluctuation AROUND the main pitch.The main note was AT ALL TIMES in and around C6 or 1046.50 htz

I respect and support Christina, but the only album where she didn't oversing like mad is Back to Basics. She's making magic on that one. I think she should stop oversing once and for all because most of us have already heard her ability to sing on Beautiful and Candyman singles. Nothing's wrong with doing a one-octave song, Christina.

Jazz music can be traced its origins to African American music, and no...there are more than 12 tones that one can play, many different cultures tune their scale to different temperaments and sometimes the intervals are microscopic but for their scale makes a huge difference.
I haven't criticized if her music is good or bad, I criticized her singing which has many phrases with uncertain pitch, and that is NEVER good.

@primohomme Your recordings are not perfect. Some notes may not be extremely flat or extremely sharp, but there are a few pitch issues. Besides, if you believe that Christina is such a horrible singer then there is no reason to compare yourself with her. You should be on the legends' videos comparing yourself with them.

No, I do not have pitch problems. My biggest pet peeve for a singer is bad intonation, and I am as harsh on myself when it comes to it as I am with someone like Christina.
You can't seem to hear Christina's bad intonation, and thus I doubt you could be able to tell if my intonation was bad. But anyways, if you think you can point out exactly where my recordings have pitch problems, please do, show me the times if possible.

In your 'Born This Way' recording, you included a message "bit down the note on 'was', LOL" and when you belted out your C6, you changed the pitch slightly near the end. If you were "as harsh on myself" then I don't think you would find it funny that you were flat on a note.

My comment that I bit down on a note meant that my attack of the note wasn't centered on the note but I slurred it, in other words the pitch looked like check mark instead of a straight line because my jaw got tense and shot forward as if biting. And yes, that's a vocal flaw and thus I mentioned it (while most people wouldn't have noticed it). But it wasn't enough of a pitch fluctuation to be considered off key.

And what you refer to on my top C is that from vibrato I went to a straight note and then back to vibrato, but the pitch didn't go flat, in fact...it became even more centered because vibrato IS a fluctuation AROUND the main pitch.The main note was AT ALL TIMES in and around C6 or 1046.50 htz

My concerts...In small venues like Preservation Hall and Cezanne, two historic jazz clubs where Christina wanted to perform in 2006 but was not welcome.

The problem is not her voice, the problem is her brains, singing in tune is controlled by the brain...and she can't manage to do that decently.
And no, Christina is not a vocalist. A vocalist is someone who uses the voice as main instrument, with the level of control an instrumentalist has over an instrument, such as pianist or a violinist. Christina does not have that level of control, and thus she is not a vocalist.

No, my notes aren't strained and are most certainly not off pitch. Here for example, these staccati are on a chromatic scale and are perfectly in tune.
