  • nice pedal, nice sound, nice demo ;) but does it work with a standart wah (like: guitar-->wah-->brit bender-->amp)?

    cheers!

  • Any chance you guys could tell me how it sounds on bass?

  • @Rolbista

We Could Be So Good Together - The Doors

  • Holy shit...I'm pretty sure I need this in my life.

  • How interactive are the Tone and Fuzz knobs? If you left the Tone at say 12 o'clock and turned the Fuzz knob, is there much change in character? Or just "more of the same"?

  • I'm confused on whether to go 3 knob or 2 knob tonebender clones? Any comparison videos? I like the sound of this video better then the MkII video but alot of people said that it sounds better then in that video. What is more insane sounding or has more breakup in the decay? I've got a Big Muff so not looking for a totally smooth fuzz.

  • HOW MANY MORE TIIIIIIIMES!!!!!!!!!!

    PGS is the best.

  • HOW MANY MORE TIMES!?

    Zeppelin.... nice.

  • meaty!

  • Hmm... Brit Bender or sTone Bender... life is difficult :|

  • man that's a tasty pedal, liked the we could be so good together by the doors :)

  • i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How maaany moooooore timesssss

  • Great sounding pedal.

  • please review the two know version .....

  • is this a muff clone?

  • No, it's a Tone Bender clone.

  • demo the two knob version too.

  • Yeah, this is a killer.

But what's difference between 3 knob killer and a 2 knob version?

Thank you Andy, PGS demos are the best.

  • less gain, darker, alot more bass. and more versatile.

  • @coughlintm the price for both 2knob and 3 knob is the same. does that mean the 2 knob sound better, or is the 3 knob better in every way?

  • They're not better. They're just different. Different circuits, different tones. Which you like more is the "better one".

  • Well, think of it like this: the 3 knob is more Zepplin like, and 2 knob is more Beatle like. I personally like the 2 knob better, but it is all preference.

  • @coughlintm idk man, the 2 knob You Shook Me is pretty badass cause of the sustain, whichis a must for any JP tone.

  • check out their web page ;-)

  • Could you please review the China Fuzz, I know its a pain in the ass when people ask you to review things but, A frequent custumer to your shop (me) would greatly appreachiate it,

    Thanks

  • Oh we'll get around to it! They are a lot of pedals on our list. Thanks!

  • one of my favorite fuzzes out now. pick one up you won't regret it.

  • Andy, does this pedal clean up nicely like Hendrix's Fuzz Face when you roll back the volume knob?

  • Tonebenders don't usually clean up as well as fuzz face type pedals. Checkout 2:33, this is with the vol knob back.

    Thanks

  • I love the tight fuzz sound of the tonebenders, but at the same time I want a fuzz that cleans up nicely when i roll back the volume knob. Do you have any suggestion?

  • stonebender by throbak

  • wihaga83. I use the original MXR "distortion +" fuzz pedal. I don't know how good the reissues are as i've never looked at them. But mine sounds great, it's not as uncontrolable as the fuzzface, it's more tight like this, and like you were talking about, rolling the volume down ever so slightly can clean it up real nice.

  • could you review a Blues Devil?

  • deville?

  • I dunno how but I just KNEW you'd open up with How Many More Times. Good call, killer unit.

  • Well it's only appropriate since JP used this on his early recordings. Glad you like it!

    -Andy

  • that's true. except it was a tonebender. but i love it when u play some on the earlier zep blues!

  • this is a tonebender too smart ass

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos No he didn't? This one is MKIII based, he used a MKII....

  • Killer. Now do the roctavious pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!

  • Sounds so dirty. Its really good

  • Cool! Sounds like the fuzz on the No Quarter solo (The fuzzy part of course).

  • ProGuitarShop demo's = better than Heroes.

  • There has got to be at least 5 of these "non mainstream boutique" fuzz oriented companies.

  • A lot more than that.

  • nice pedal...diggin the tight yet gritty tone on this one

  • It's so nice when they review pedals that are not mainstream, but still great!

    Keep it up!

  • LED ZEPPELIN!!! Sounds pretty good, i wouldn't play zep with a fuzz pedal, but it works well anyway!

  • Why not? Paige had a Tonebender, what this pedal is based from.

  • Yeah this thing pretty much rocks my face off.
