Basically Diva raped Riku, and then died do to Diva giving her blood to him, which killed him because Saya gave her blood to him so he could live, ending up as a chevalier. If the two sisters bloods clash, one crystalizes the other, so Riku's body shattered into mutiple pieces, devastating Kai in the process. @Shamballa66fma its because due to Diva being pregnant some time ago before the final battle, her blood lost its poisonious power to kill, but Saya's did not, and that's why Diva died and Saya lived.
