@MegaDeeDubb than that's bad for the roots cuz when u water it, its chances of downing are 100% in out come but u can always make holes in some pots but ya. good luck with that :)
@nasirahc83 this prevents the hole from being plugged by the soil and as a result drowning the plant roots. Good drainage is essential for a healthy plant.

Thank you! I have two pots that need replanting. Very helpful video. I wonder if it matters when one pots (do we wait for spring? autumn? or is anytime okay?) And thanks for mentioning the broken pot shards. Great tip!

Thanks for posting this video. I'd never re-potted a plant before but had some plants that needed re-potting. I bought a nice bag of soil a long time ago and just needed to get to it. Today was the first day of the year that felt like spring and I was excited to finally re-pot these plants and enjoy the weather. I didn't know exactly what to do before watching your video and followed all your steps. Looking forward to watching the plants continue to grow and be healthy. Thank you
@LayMamaHoMah Ants invaded most of my plants, they can kill plants because ants attack and disturb roots. Keep the soil very moist like HomeDepot plants, ants don't like very moist soil. Also use Lambert organic soil,it has peat moss mixed in and ants aren't attracted as much to that soil.
thumbs up is you searched "how to repot a cannabis plant", and thought this would do.

The mold crumbled when I removed the plant from the plastic pot. Is it because it was moist?
Will the plant be harmed when this happens?

@colombia645 Sorry, it may be quite late now for an answer. I'll try it though. I think this plant is a Shefflera. I hope your plant didn't die!
