I saw Robinella a few years back in Ann Arbor MI. There was maybe 50 people there; they put on a wonderful show (VERY talented band) and she would introduce the songs with a story like she does here. After the show she just hung around and she was so easy to talk to . No BS, no show, just a person who loves music singing for those who love hearing it.
That's the day i 1st heard ur song "Nothing Less Nothing More"... and i tried to sing it too...lol... hear my version on youtube at gbesmith. We love you Robinella!!! Your awesome Gal! Love, Georgia Smith gbesmith@yahoo.com
As anyone who can appreciate Robinella's music knows that she is from the foothills of Tennessee near the Great Smokey Mountains where I live as well. And times I have moved away from Tennessee, video's such as these bring back memories and make me homesick for beautiful Tennessee!! Continue doing what you do Robinella... i have followed you since you were 1st featured on the Heartland Series tv show. Rememeber that? (msg. cont..)
I myself being raised in a family with an alcoholic father who drank himself to death by age 44, and also having several failed relationships myself with men
who were alcoholics, can fully appreciate the song "Man Over". She is on the water,in a boat, which is significant in the fact of her lover drowning. drowning in water - - drowning in alcohol - - both are suicide. The old rustic house and "rolling country side - grassy hills" is connected to her upbringing. (msg. cont...)
She is adorable, talented and the real thing. Heard her by chance on a local college station here in Southern California (Man Over) and was instantly smitten. All you who live near by her and see her perform live are blessed indeed. Hope she'll come out here some day. Been spreadin' the word to my friends and family!
I was so happy to see that Robinella has made it to the big time. Her voice is beautiful and hypnotic. I have been a huge fan since the very first time I saw her and the CC Stringband at a tiny little pub "Union Jacks", Knoxville, TN in 1998. Seeing this brings back a flood of memories. She has to be my favorite! I love the fact that hers is a genre all of its own. Thank you, Robinella, for sharing your phenominal talent.

Get the gutar in here hands and let her sing for god's sake!!! She's barely verbal conversing and that 222lb block of wood, Todd Steed ain't helping things a damn bit!!! Pretty voice however and kind of cute in a puppy-dog sort of way. Still trying to think of some viable work for Todd though.
I had never heard of Robinella until I went to a jazz concert in Towson, MD. Needless to say I was an instant fan. Her style of music was not what I had expected. I was anticipating a kind of fancier jazz singing from her. But what she delivered was straight from the earth. Deep rooted music with powerfull feeling. Bluesy, soulfull, heartfelt, American music. She was amazing.
One feels quite blessed to live in East Tennessee and be able to hear RobinElla on a regular basis. She's a local treasure. Her music is honest, sincere, straight from the heart. Take a few minutes and listen -- nobody sings "Listen to the Radio" as well; "Left, Right, Back Together" tugs at the heartstrings. Thanks, UTTV, for a great program! Nobody is more deserving to be featured on your new series.
