No, It's still on at 6:30 but on KSHB channel 41 not KMBC.

Plus, it looks like channel 9 did a custom version of "That Special Feeling on ABC", judging by the background.

KNXV in Phoenix, sister station to KSHB, also has Wheel (and Jeopardy) now. Before both shows aired on KNXV, KSAZ (before 1994) and KTVK (1994 to when KNXV got the rights) aired Wheel and Jeopardy.

I'm not exactly sure when KSHB got Wheel and Jeopardy. It was likely after they adopted the NBC Action News branding.

I think that they should still do the chromakey-in-the-middle-of-the­-wheel thing at the closing. they should also bring back the spinning wheel at the opening and closing, and, for the next set change, they should do a classic set, but still do the neon thing. I miss those backdrops!

Same here with WTHR in Indianapolis and WANE-TV Fort Wayne. In Indy, Wheel moved from WTHR to WISH in 1989 or 1990 and moved back to WTHR in 2002. In FWA--Wheel moved from WANE to WKJG (now WISE) in 1989) and has been back on WANE since 1999.
